O.P.I Show it and Glow it

And I'll do just that because this polish deserves nothing less!

Another Win for this collection! "Show it and Glow it" is Mostly Fuchsia glitter with Fuchsia micro-sparkles. The accent colors for this one are Blue, Red, Green,Silver and Gold. For full coverage I only needed two generous coats. I used a coat of Seche Vite to add shine and smooth out the glitter. Wearing these polishes is making me wish for cooler weather and twinkle lights! Oooooorr.. Some Mardi Gras beads ;-)! I feel slightly... Sassy... LOL! And if one thing is for sure these glitters are not for the shy.

Thanks for reading :)

  1. I just came onto your blog from OPI page on FaceBook. I love your macroshots, as they show the true color, and help someone make up their mind as to whether they want to buy that color. Have you ever tried Poshe' topcoat, instead of Seche Vite? I have been using it for nearly 15 years, and find it seals in better, and keeps my OPI & China Glaze, and Creative Nail Design polish glowing longer than any other topcoats I have ever tried. It is not very expensive either, and you can get it at any Sally beauty supply. Thanks for doing what you do, Cristina! Your blog is really one of a kind, and I love it.

  2. Dora- Thank you so much for the GREAT comment. It made my day because I haven't been doing this for very long :). So thank you so much. Also how is the dry time on Posche'? Because that's one of the reasons I love Seche Vite, it dries super fast and there is no tackyness.

Lauren- It is even better in person :)

  3. Cristina~Dry time on Poshe' is lightening quick. It is dry to the touch in 1 minute flat and completely dries the layers in 5 minutes. I know some folks say that they think Poshe' makes their nail polish peel off in one big flake, instead of small little bits of edge coming off. Now, It can come off like that, if you wash dishes, shampoo hair in a hair shop, or keep hands in water all the time. (I am ex-hairdresser, and NOTHING keeps polish on natural nails in water!) Poshe' also will refresh the color, if it fades and looks dull. You put a new coat on top, and voila-it looks fresh as new! If you can get a hairdresser friend to get it, it is cheaper, otherwise it is prob $7.99 for non hairdresser price @ beauty supply.

Oh, and I do not find it tacky either, just shiny smooth and gorgeous. I wish I let you borrow mine to try! :0)

  4. Thank you Dora. As soon as my newest bottle of Seche Runs out I think I'll give it a shot :). It's god it dries fast because my other "special talent" is messing up my fresh manis lol! I can be so clumsy some times.
