...As they have smiled upon me and decided I was worthy of Illamasqua's Viridian from their Art of Darkness collection!! I have been lemming this since the swatches started showing up online and it is finally mine and I shall cherish it for all time haha!
Viridian is a beyond amazing Dark Hunter Green- Teal with a sublime shimmer. To me, Greens don't get any better than this! The formula is absolute perfection, the texture reminds me of the texture of Seche Vite. Viridian could easily be a one coater, for this mani I used Two coats since that is my OCD number. The finish is smooth, shiny and perfect. I couldn't believe the pigmentation on this polish, especially for the color and finish, just excellent. I absolutely love that it remains Green regardless of lighting, we all know how much of a disappointment dark Greens can be in dim light. The price tag is a little steep for me at $14 but I had to have this polish as a part of my collection and I'm so glad that the color lived up to my hype! Mega Epic WIN!
Did all my lovelies have a wonderful Christmas?

OOOOOO, it's SOOOOO pretty!!!!! Also, i might be TOTALLY wrong about this, but is this somehow similar to China Glaze Watermelon Rind?? IDK why but when i saw it i though watermelon rind LOL

Gorgeous :) I love that polish and that little stamp is so elegant
ReplyDeleteKelly- My camera made the color a little more Blue than it is. This is a deep Hunter Green with a fine shimmer through out where watermelon Rind is more of a glitter in a jelly and more of a jewel tone Green.
ReplyDeleteOooh! This is yummie! :-* I've had the best times ever with my love and my family! :) It looks like you've had a blast! Hugs!
