Muffin Mondays!! Zoya Adina (Pic Heavy)

Hello darlings!! Look who's back!

A lot of you were commenting on FB about how much you missed The Muffin and she missed you lovelies too. She is back this week with a surprising choice! With her track record I thought she was going to go for Robyn but she chose Adina for me instead and OMG what a choice. I warn you, there are A LOT of pictures coming up.

I really love this picture.
I know I haven't posted Sunlight pics in ages but Adina needed some sun to show even better what she is all about. Rosey/ Green duochrome shimmer goodness, Adina is probably one of the most interesting polishes I have ever worn. I'm having a hard time describing this properly which is why I posted a ton of pics and they still do this polish no justice. Do I even have to mention that the formula is perfection? No? OK, good lol. For this mani I used what I will call Two and a Half coats of Adina. I really like an intense effect and at Two coats it didn't have enough Oomph for me. I love that this is not a glassfleck based duochrome because I find this look so much more interesting when it's a smooth shimmer creating the effect. Zoya really knows how to make beautiful polishes and I could never pick a favorite one but this one is absolutely a standout in my entire collection.

Muffin is happy to be back! She also suggest you check out My Giveaway. :)

Zoya Gigi

I was feeling dainty/lazy today...

So I decided to wear the Nude perfection that is Zoya's Gigi. I know a lot of you asked to see Robyn first but I really want to come up with something really special for her. I like to wear them when they are calling me. Do you guys know what I mean? Today Gigi said: " Cristina, I am your destiny".

Gigi is a lovely nude base with the slightest Pink shimmery flash throughout. Gigi also has a fine Silver micro glitter that I just love. I know a lot of girls hate this look but, personally, I think it's lovely. It's clean and delicate. I hate hate, HATE going without some kind of color on my nails. This is my perfect naked, effortless nail color. For my mani I used Three coats of Gigi. With this one I don't mind a bit of VNL because I wanted a natural look. I could not stop staring at my hands for a good while. This is a simple color but sometimes I find that the simplest shades are the prettiest and easiest to appreciate. I hate french manicures but I may just have to try one with this as my base. Gigi is my new go to nude. Sorry Innocence :(.

What is your favorite nude tone?

Bettina Cotton Candy

Hello lovely ladies (and boys too :),

Today I have another color from my new obsession, Bettina. This is probably my new favorite soft Pink. No, wait, it is my new favorite soft Pink. It's creamy, it's delicious and it's making me hungry for a Strawberry milkshake just looking at it... BTW, have you entered my 500 Follower Giveaway yet? You totally should!
I really wanted to do something really striking and different with my stamping for this one. For this I used Little Drummer Boy by China Glaze. I am madly in love with this manicure. There is something Old Victorian looking about this look and I am really stuck on this look right now :).
How pretty is this Pink?! It is a soft, creamy Pink but with the slightest bit of Purple in it so it is not a washed out tone. Is is similar in tone to O.P.I's Mod about You but this has more Pink in it and also the formula on this is way more pigmented and creamier. I am madly in love with Cotton Candy. My best friend who sent me this was super excited to see me wear it and I think I will be doing a lot of that because it is so flattering and easy on the eyes. Like I said, the formula is sooo smooth, creamy and very well pigmented. I only needed Two coats to get this coverage. I become more and more obsessed with this brand with every color I try! Just amazing. Puerto Rican women are lucky to have access to these all the time. I also think it's so cool that such amazing polish comes from my tiny island!!!

Do you have any international brands you love?

Sinful Colors Gogo Girl 1950's Inspired

Oh happy day!

This color surprised me in that I was expecting a Red creme and what I got was a beautiful Red jelly instead. I'm so in love with this Red right now! I had a 60's inspired watermarble, an 80's inspired zebra nail and today the color made me to go 1950's inspired with the decorations :).
Gogo Girl is an amazing Red jelly that applies very very easily. For my mani I used Three coats of color because being a jelly there was still some VNL at Two coats. I'm terrible at describing Red tones but my guess is that this is a warmer toned Red. Very pin- up girl like. It's very shiny and juicy looking. I was beyond ecstatic to see that it was a jelly because I think Red jellies are pretty much the hottest thing ever! Like I said I was inspired to go 50's with this one because I just love the combo of Red with White polka dots. The little flowers are sliced from one of the fimo canes I received from Born Pretty Store. I'm still practicing with those, it takes some patience and time to get the slices very thin but I find it fun and almost zen like lol. Overall, I'm loving the girliness of this mani and it makes me want to wear Red lips and a skirt  ;).

I've been doing era inspired manis lately, what are u into now?

O.P.I Pink Flamenco 1980's Inspired

Ole!

I have officially worn all of my O.P.I colors! That doesn't mean I've blogged about them all but I definitely have worn them all! As well as my Orly and all of my Zoya's. I don't like having a huge stash of untrieds because then I can't really justify buying more lol. Anywho onto some PINK!
Pink Flamenco is a hawt Magenta- Pink creme that could bring airplanes in, it's very bright. As you all know I LOVE me some brights so this is right up my alley. My pops got me this for X-mas. The formula is perfection as usual. For my mani I used Two coats of Pink Flamenco. You all know my love of Pinks also and this one is really awesome because it's really in- your- face about its "Pinkness". It draws the right kind of attention to my hands and it's flattering. What's not to love? I'm really feeling this weird color combo too. It's kinda has an old- school feel to it, but I've done funkier things before lool.

Do you like your Pinks bold, muted or not at all?

Zoya Fairies Visited...

... Me today and left these in the mail for me...

What are some lovely Zoya polishes to do!?
Colors from left to right: Dana, Yvette, Bela, Gigi, Ki, Adina, Robyn, Harley
I saw them there so pretty and in need of a good home, so I decided to take it upon me to make sure that they were well taken care of! LOOOL! I have to say I practically squealed when I opened the box and saw that there was a bottle of Remove + in there. I was only expecting the polishes and when I saw the bottle some strange noises escaped my mouth. I swear by Zoya's polish remover. When I tell you ladies that it is worth the money, it is worth the money! But I'll do an in depth review of it later on :).  Zoya makes Cristina a happy Cristina!! lol

Which color would you lovelies like to see first?

Funkeh Watermarble 1960's Inspired

For lack of a better description...

I'm on the fence about this one.. What do you guys think? Water marbling just isn't my thing lol... It takes too much... Too much time, patience, polish, clean-up, tape.. etc loool... I love it when other people do really artsy things with this technique but this is absolutely not my forte haha. OH! If you have not yet done so, check out my 500 follower giveaway on the right hand side bar!

And here is a swatch of my original base color. China Glaze White on White. Maybe I should've stopped here lol!
I <3<3<3 White nails!!! IDK why but I do!
I think I like it. I definitely like the color combo a lot. I love the bold Orange. My favorite nail is the index, it turned out so pretty.

Thoughts on this one lovelies?

Bettina Green Apple

OMFG!

I liked this in the bottle.. And then I got it on my nails and LOOOOOOOVED it! I'm pretty sure this is really close to O.P.I's Who the Shrek are You? But I do not own that one so I cannot compare them. But, onto the awesomeness that is this polish...
Love, love, love Green Apple! This is a bright Lime Green, Tennis ball like almost in color. Just amazing. I cannot get over the formula. Wow! AMAZING! Sooo smooth and soo well pigmented and easy to work with. I used Two coats of color but I did not need to, One had plenty of coverage. There is absolutely no gimmick behind this brand, just an amazing product. I've been hearing some speak of this brand coming to Florida but nothing has been confirmed yet. I really hope that it does because I need easier access to them!! LOOOVE this brand.

What are your favorite brands?

China Glaze Crackle Spam

Hello!

I know it's Monday and Muffin should be up here picking me a color but... Well Muffin is kinda pissed still about her new baby sis loool... So I'm giving her a little break.  Oh but ! Here is Fault Line layered over Broken Hearted and Icing's Preppy Purple as my base. And then a whole butt load of crackle pics! Enjoy!
Fault Line is the final Crackle color I had left to show you. This one has the least amount of crackle and the thickest formula. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that this is somewhat of a shimmery crackle polish. I really love them layered as it gives my mani such cool dimension. It looks really cool in person.
Broken Hearted
Crushed Candy
Lightning Bolt
Cracked Concrete

Hope you all enjoyed the spam!
