Funkeh Watermarble 1960's Inspired

For lack of a better description...

I'm on the fence about this one.. What do you guys think? Water marbling just isn't my thing lol... It takes too much... Too much time, patience, polish, clean-up, tape.. etc loool... I love it when other people do really artsy things with this technique but this is absolutely not my forte haha. OH! If you have not yet done so, check out my 500 follower giveaway on the right hand side bar!

And here is a swatch of my original base color. China Glaze White on White. Maybe I should've stopped here lol!
I <3<3<3 White nails!!! IDK why but I do!
I think I like it. I definitely like the color combo a lot. I love the bold Orange. My favorite nail is the index, it turned out so pretty.

Thoughts on this one lovelies?

  3. You did it very nice and neat!
I just wouldn't put that many colors, best WM is with two or three shades of only one color + black or white.

  7. It reminds me of a 70s highschool sweetheart. I dig the colour combo, but I'm usually rather hit or miss with water marbling.

@Sasmita: Colette over at My Simple Little Pleasures does great water marbling tutorials for almost all of her looks. Check it out. :)

  14. LOOOVE this one! I love how many colors you used! I always stop at three colors but this definitely gives me inspiration to try more! :) And although water marbling DOES take a lot of time - if you have the time - it's very relaxing. :) As always - love reading!
