It's Monday and you're probably wondering where Muffin is... Well, she is on a break. See, Muffin Mondays are a collaborative effort between Mr. LTHP and myself. Currently Mr. LTHP is away (big exciting things are happening) and I have no way to setup/ take the pictures. Working with animals is not ever easy lol. Muffin will be back in a couple of weeks but until then please enjoy onr of my new favorite combos!
For this mani I used Three coats of Houston we have a Purple by O.P.I and then I did a thin layer of Barielle's Elle's Spell. I love how it looks like the flakies are floating on top of the jelly base. I'm also loving how the burgundy jelly base in Elle's Spell adds so much more depth to Houston we have a Purple. In the Sunlight it is even more spectacular. I suggest clicking the pics for detail.
Just for fun here is another swatch of HWHAP.
Jelly over Jelly = Jelly Awesomesauce! And how gorgeous is HWHAP in the Sunlight!? I'm having issues getting these sorbets to wrap around the tips of my nails but whatevs, it's a minor issue that can be solved very easily.
Also, if you have not yet done so check out the Bundle Monster FB contest! [HERE] is my entry. All you have to do is give is a thumbs up! Please help me win one of their new sets :) While there check out the other entries as well :).
Muffin sends her love!

ReplyDeleteThe flakies makes the color so exciting. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThese two colours look amazing together :D
ReplyDeleteI just CANNOT find a reason to like Elle's Spell. It just looks like a janky Franken to me. Throw some Hidden Treasure in a jelly and thats what you get. The OPI color, however, makes my heart melt. LOVES!!! =)

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous together! I absolutely love jellies, they're my favorite finish, so seeing that little lightening at the tips makes me drool. ;)

ReplyDeleteHmm, i think this is the most beautiful mani ever!
ReplyDeleteThe name alone for this OPI made me have to have it. And I really ended up hearting this shade big time. It's one of my fav jelly's.
