Barielle Gotta Have Fate + Buddha-Ful

Happy Thursday!

Today I have another simple layering using two of Barielle newest Summer shades from their Karma Kollection. Barielle is one of those brands that I wish I had more of but have very little access to... My Ulta SUCKS in a big way... But basically I've never been let down by my Barielle polishes.. Onto the pretties?
So this is a really interesting look. Here I have layered Buddha- Ful over Gotta have Fate. The look IRL is much MUCH prettier but it did not photograph too well. I also have had no Sun for the past two days :(. Anywho Buddha- Ful is this amazing milky nude base packed full of iridescent Green flakies. It's a very interesting polish. Not necessarily a layering polish but it can pull off the look if layered over the right color. I've never seen anything quite like it and I love that Barielle is making flakies more accessible to the public. MORE Flakies!!!

And here is a swatch of Gotta have Fate. This did not want to photograph well at all either. See, it is not quite this fiery Orange. It's more of like a vibrant orange creamsicle Orange. Sooo amazing! This was my first Barielle creme and I could not be happier with the formula on this sucker. It is pigmented like a creme but glides smooth like a jelly. Just perfection. This was two coats and a coat of SV.

Need more Barielle in my life!!! I have one more color to try from this collection which is a lovely Turquiose creme that is calling my name.... I also want to see Buddha-Ful on it's own. I wonder what kind of effect it creates when it is by itself. Maybe it will be my new "interview polish" with a twist :).

Happy Thursday!

  1. I am having a serious love affair with orangey coral colors right now! This is the second time I've seen this color, and I need to have it!! But I like instant gratification, and want to pick it up at Ulta....why don't they carry new Barielle collections?!? I'm actually wearing a very similar color by Essence called What Do You Think? Which has gold shimmer in it!! (But it doesn't come out on the nail.....boo!!)

  4. That's gorgeous... I especially like the flakie polish.
My ULTA also sells almost no Barielle... all we have are the funky brownish shades.

  9. I am loving them both...the orange one is just the perfect dusky orange...I have to put that on my Barielle order I have just started...and Buda-ful is just too amazing! It's what I wanted but did not know what # of Nfu -Oh would give that to me - I think #39 - but Barielle is cheaper and easier to get. I wanted a flaky that is like Nubars 2010 only instead of all golden flake - have the blue/green color shift look to it...and Buda-ful has just that! Amazing - thanks so for posting both of these. I never would have picked up this orange not seeing your swatch - it's impossible to know it's a dusky orange which I don't have in my stash!!!! Very cool! Great for fall
