Happy Friday!!
For today I have a simple sponged mani featuring one of my all time favorite Zoya colors. Even though lately I've been craving bright, Summery manis for some reason Kelly kept jumping out at me. Sooo, I decided to go with my gut and came up with this...
For this simple mani I just used some cut up sponge from the art supply store and some of Zoya's Trixie on the tips of my nails. I ended up LOVING this look. I really like how simple and clean it is but at the same time it is blingy and just a little flashy. Trixie is AMAZING for sponging.
So what have we learned today? Zoya Kelly and Trixie= Best friends forever!! lol.
What do you think?

I'm wearing Kelly right now too!! :D But now that I see them together, wishing I had Trixie too. I don't currently own any Zoya sparklies, hoping to snag some on the next sale :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I'm gonna try this, I would never have thought of sponging with nail polish, thats clever, great idea!
ReplyDeleteLove this mani, so simple but it looks always great :)
ReplyDeleteI love zoyas Kelly polish beautiful color :)
ReplyDeleteThis is soo pretty. I love how you describe dpi gong as a "simple" technique. I've yet to try it because it scares me.. Lol. I have all the tools for it... But for some reason I'm so nervous... Maybe soon.
ReplyDeleteThis look is stunning though!!!!
This is an AWESOME manicure. Great job!!
ReplyDeletelove it - dark nails are hot!
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! I usually use makeup sponges to try and do a glitter gradient but it never comes out right. I think I need to get an actual sponge.
ReplyDeleteThat looks kind of elegant... I really like it!
ReplyDeletethis is BEAUTIFUL! It looks like you dipped your fingers into silver dust!
ReplyDeleteKelly and Trixie are totally BFF for life! I LOVE THIS! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis looks SO good! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that zoya kelly, really nice smooth finish to it! The silver polish over it is so....silvery lol! Only word i can think of to describe it:P Great looking mani, sure you got tons of compliments.
ReplyDeleteI love it, I'm definitely trying this out this weekend :) Great!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love the combo!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like Kelly though... the color on your nails doesn't match the bottle! Looks black...
i saw the first photo on my Facebook stream. sooo beautiful, great job!
ReplyDeletethis is a killer combination! absolutely beautiful
ReplyDeleteSOOOOO AMAZINGLY awesome!
ReplyDeleteAhhh I LOVE the sponging on this! Awesome and definitely have to try something like this sometime.
ReplyDeleteI adore this look! The sponging on of the Trixie is wonderful! I completely agree with you on this one...meant for each other! Curious what kind of 'art store' sponges you picked up - there seem to be so many - ones with holes, ones that look more like make-up sponges - and ones in-between...what kind is best for nail sponging???
ReplyDeleteI just went and marked both of these to my Zoya wish list!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Kelly! It was one of my first Zoyas too. I dont think Zoya will ever be able to top this gray.
ReplyDeleteI love it!(:
