Zoya Smoke Collection Recap

Hi loves,

Sorry for the late post but yesterday and today have been.... Eventful... And not in a good way. I'm hoping things will settle down soon so I can get back to doing more creative things. Some of you know that in my "real life" I've been having a lot of stress and sickness going on and it's just been really rough...

So for my late post today I have a recap of Zoya's Smoke Collection for fall 2011. This amazing group is made up of Six gorgeous cremes in dark, sexy and unique tones.
Petra. A smokey Grey tone. No, it's not a dupe of Kelly. As if Zoya would be so lame to dupe themselves lol. This has a touch of Purple that makes it super unique and wearable. One of my favorites from this collection.

Anja. I love her name. I also love this deep Plummy, vampy shade. This is the perfect Fall vampy color.

Codie. Deep, deep smokey Brown with some touches of Green. I'm not a huge fan of Brown in general so I'm not too smitten with this one.

Jana. A lovely nude with Mauve and Brown tones. Super wearable and flattering.

Dree. Olive drab perfection. That is all.

Cynthia. Deep peacock navy creme. This is pure sophistication.

All of these colors have an amazing two- coat formula. But I would not expect any less from Zoya. I'm so blown away by the cohesiveness of this collection. All the colors go so well together. I love lining them all up and looking at them. I'd have to say my top picks from this collection are Dree, Jana and Petra. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a Zoya Green or Grey. They really know how to make these shades. I love Cynthia because it is so different from what I'm used to seeing from Zoya. I could not rave enough about this beautiful collection. It is Fall perfection. The swatches of Petra, Anja and Codie were photographed without a top coat.

Which ones are your faves?
♥ Cristina

  3. I got the Mirrors collection first. However, I got Anja to make the order over $50. ;)
You have made me want the entire collection and love getting Anja too.
Can I clone your nails and claim them as mine? :)

  4. Hope everything will get better soon! I love this collection from Zoya. It's so strong, probably one of the best collection in this entire year. I really want more than half of it, and this year that happened only in Zoya Spring collection. So it's a good year for Zoya, IMO!

  5. @Ulmiel- I agree. It has been an excellent year for Zoya. Well the Summertime Collection disappointed me a little with all the dupes but they more than made up for it with these Fall collections.

I'm pretty sure I need Dree and Jana; I'm undecided on the more vampy ones.

  13. Belated comment. I've been googling swatches of this collection. I like all of your swatches. I haven't ever tried any of Zoya's vampy shades so I am hesitant. Did you find stains a problem with Anja and Codie and Cynthia?

  14. @thalie @ Glazed Talons I found the formula on all of them to be easy to work with but they do work better if you do three thinner coats. Zoya is easy to work with though.

  15. hi cristina - wanted to know how ANJA compares to CASEY Zoya polish. I love the comparison you did with the white polishes - Snow White vs Purity. It was b/c of your post that I went with Purity! Great job and thanks so much!!
