Today I have a simple mani. I went back to one of my favorite combinations. Purple and Graphite. Since I am rocking the shorties this colo really was singing to me. You guys know how much I love vampy or darker shades when my nails are short. IDK why that is but I just love the look of short, dark nails.
So I kept it super simple and just went with one of my all time favorite stamps from the old Bundle Monster set, plate BM20. For the stamping I used CG Avalanche. I kept that color with the purpose of stamping only becuse I hate how frosty it is.. BUT it works, and looks amazing when used for stamping.
What are your thoughts on Urban Night?

ReplyDeleteLuuuuvley!
ReplyDeletelooks amazing!! I bought it but haven't used it yet
ReplyDeleteYou're going to make me go buy Urban Night with this swatch alone. And I skipped it! This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! the combo, and especially the color on your shorter nails!
ReplyDeleteLovely really. The purple and graphite are rock star awesome. I bought myself a ton of stamper plates and can't for the life of me figure out how to use it. I even bought stamping polish but no luck when I swipe it either removes all the polish from the stamp or smears it.
ReplyDeleteAny suggestions?
It rocks!
ReplyDeleteLove this urban night! So glad I bought it! This color combo looks great
ReplyDeleteI love the deep purple with the silver stamping. I own that plate and never used it. Will have to do this look for sure this fall!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with this shade it's like a really dark purple right?
ReplyDeleteThe stamping looks amazing over that polish! Nice mani!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this color is gorgeousss!
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous!!! I love vampies too. <3
ReplyDeleteLovely! its my fav combo
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove this. Your stamping looks amazing! Beautiful colours.
ReplyDelete@Nicole Ditto for me too...and I had seen swatches of this shade before. I think when they came out on other blogs, my mind was just a jumble of fall colors and this one seemed like Christine said, not unique. But come to think of it, I really don't have this shade of a deep purple that is not shimmer in my stash. Ummmm...ca-ching!
ReplyDeleteGreat shade - and I think your nails are the PERFECT length right now!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty color but wow with the stamping--amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm anxiously awaiting my very first stamping kit--can't wait to try it out!!
I have this color but haven't used it yet. I've been saving it for Fall, maybe late September or so. Funny thing is, unlike you, I actually avoid dark nail polishes when my nails are really short. I recently had to cut them all and I hate my nubbins :(
ReplyDeleteBut for some reason, I just feel like dark polish makes my fingers look even stubbier than usual (I have really small hands). But you rock the look, no matter what! :)
I like that dark plum shade and I just can't decide which way is better (with or without art) they both look great
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color! I think short, dark nails look so much better than long, dark nails. It's a look I prefer myself.
