Anyways, today I have my Zoya namesake. I actually happen to like it quite a lot even though the color is the complete opposite of who I am. I'm loud and obnoxious and weird and random and this color is delicate, soft and totally bridal.
The reason why I only have a swatch is because I had intended this on being the base for a bridal water marble for my besties series but I kinda failed miserably because Zoya's Raven was just not made for marbling :(. But moving on.... I will eventually achieve my bridal marble... For now please enjoy a swatch of this lovely color.
Christinna is a lovely pearly White with just a touch of Silvery Grey. This color has a slightly sheer formula but it applies easy and dries quick. I really love this because it is such a wearable white. Here I have Three coats and no top coat. Pardon the janky ring finger nail. I had to patch it up because of a low break that could suck majorly.
Thanks for stopping by :)
♥ Cristina
As your namesake, I perfectly agree with your observation! I am loudy, a little crazy, I suffer of verbal diarrhoea and I don't feel represented by such a calm and relaxing shade. Even if I like it! ;)
ReplyDeleteI just purchased this color, and I love it! It looks great on you too,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, as always! I haven't commented a lot, but I'm here - a faithful follower!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that despite the watsrmarbling-gone wrong you will still find a way to incorporate this beauty into the "wedding series" ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish zoya made a "Marta". I'd buy it too ;)
LOL @ your first sentence hahaha... this polish looks great on you! My Zoya namesake (ALSO spelled wrong btw -- Jaime instead of the wonderful JAMIE) is absolutely HIDEOUS. *cries in a corner* (It's actually not that bad, I'm just being a brat =D) Anyway, I always love reading your posts and admiring your pics. Just stopping by to give you some <3
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I haven't heard of this color before. I love the pearl finish to it.
ReplyDeleteOooh thank you for doing this swatch! I just got a whole mess of spoons from Zoya, really the only way I can really tell what the color will be IRL.
ReplyDeleteThis was my pick for a white--I generally don't like cremes, so I got a few white spoons and this one rocked!
Totally overspelled tho! (from a "Krista" who never had my name spelled correctly in school lol)
cute! s2
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous color! looks lovely on your nails... Zoya doesnt even have my name... YET! I think we should email lol :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice color, just did not like the signs of the application
ReplyDeleteA bridal water marbel mani!! I'm excited to see that (:
ReplyDeletevery original! i don´t really know whether it like it though...
ReplyDeleteI tried to find my namesake by zoya but all they had was Liz, it's kind of similar to Stacy!
ReplyDeleteI ALMOST bought this with the last promo. I got Ginessa instead, but now I wish I got this one! I love subtle white polishes like this.
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like this! It's so girly and sweet :). Wondering when Zoya is gonna do my name sake polish and what it'll look like.
ReplyDeleteNice pearly shade! I think this will be a great base for stamping or other nailpolish.
ReplyDeleteCould you tell us how you patch up a low break? I always clip them all down, and that makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't like these shades that lean to white - have a few for my collection and kind of figure enough. But this one is got something about it that peaks my interest. It's on my spoon list for next order to hold it up to my skin now. Thanks...Zoya either made my name a long time ago and dropped it or they never did...not sure. I have only followed Zoya for the past year - don't know how I missed out for soooo long!
ReplyDeleteThis color is gorgeous! It really looks good on your skin tone. Weird how they spell that.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't breaking a nail really suck?!
So soft looking! Reminds me of Winter!
ReplyDeleteYour swatches are always so flawless. I find myself lemming almost everything you post!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks really nice on you :)
ReplyDeleteI like! :)
ReplyDeleteI was just looking on the Zoya site--perhaps they were paying close attention--the spelling for the polish is now Christina ;)
