Holy smokes! Day 20!!! I'm so not ready for Inspiration Week.. o.O.. But I was super eager to get working on my water marble for today's task. I went with a Halloween theme since LTHP has been lacking in the Holiday Spirit lol... I'm really happy with how these turned out for banging them out in 15 min.... Behold! lol
I started with a base of Bettina Clouds and then marbled with the colors pictured below. I topped it all off with a coat of SV followed by my mandatory coat of INM Northern Lights. I just can't get enough of the hint of sparkle it adds.
Jacked up my index finger a little but I can live with it lol!
So that was fun! Now.. to go pick a color to be "inspired by..... lol" Don't forget to check out Sam and Rie's blogs to see their Watermarbled nails!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, Cristina, your Halloween watermarble is spectacular! You chose beautiful shades that go together very nicely. Great job! :)

ReplyDeleteGAH! You kill me with watermarbles! I wish I could do them....I can never seem to make them work.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing watermarbling 7 months now and still screw up often...but no where near as much as when I first started. It really takes practice. I bought fake nails to practice on. I use nail polish remover to take off the polish and use them over and over for practice. Its easier than doing your real nails and less time and mess. I use loc-tight puddy...u know the little sticky ball things that teachers use to hang up posters in the class room....and tooth picks...cut at a slant...to hold the nail so I can dip it and you can use the putty and toothpicks over and over too. Keep tryin!
DeleteGreat job!! This is so fun!

ReplyDeleteAnother GORGEOUS water marble, as usual - using my favorite nail polish brand for cremes, even though I don't own any. LOL Your blog is the first to show me Bettina - between their uber creamy finish and your perfect mani, I'm in love with the brand. I wish there was an alternative way to buy them because, I *really* need to get me some and I don't ever buy things online (no credit cards or Paypal acct.) :( It would be nice to find someone to swap me some Bettinas. ARG!
ReplyDeleteIt's alot of fun watching the nail blogging world come up their own versions of the daily challenges. My favorite days so far are the water marble, tribal and GALAXY. I love how for all of the "nail art" challenges, you found a way to sneak in some cute and subtle extras like rhinestones or doing polka dots for rainbow day and stuff like that. It really livens up what would sometimes be very boring. I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Thanks for sharing!! :)
Wow! You did this in 15 minutes? I'm so impressed. This looks great :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is so beautiful!
ReplyDeletebeautiful marble Cris!
ReplyDeleteLOVE! Need I say more?!
ReplyDeleteFantastic. One of my favorite Halloween manicures this year!
ReplyDeleteOh My Bl***dy god, this is amazing, the colours are perfect and you've dont this perfectly, love it!
ReplyDeleteThese are very nice. They deffinatly scream Halloween...but aren't too spooky for kids and aren't too cute for adults nor distasteful for older ppl or ppl who don't celebrate Halloween. So I think they are perfect. Just what I was looking for. Something everyone could like. And its my fave...water marble. Thank you for the inspiration.
