Today's nails were a REAL challenge.... For some reason the color Violet wasn't really speaking to me at all... I love Purple but I could not get into the color at all. So, what I ended up doing was pulling anything that had a Purple tint to it in my stash I closed my eyes and pulled out a color. It ended up being a stretch but I think the stamping really pulled it together and made it "Violet"... Right? ;-)
So for this look I started with There thin coats of Zoya's Marley. For the stamping I used Bundle Monster plate BM16. This was my first time doing a Two- toned stamp. I did half in China Glaze Urban Night and Evening Seduction. I then dotted the flowers with Zoya Dannii and added little Purple gems to snaz it up a bit. I ended up really liking the look even though it took me ages to settle on what exactly I wanted to do. In the end I was inspired by the softness of the base color itself.
Here is a swatch of Zoya's Marley. A very soft pearly Lavender creme. I absolutely love this color. This is Three thin coats of color.
I really love when I haven't worn a color in a long time and it's like having a brand new color all over again. Thus, is the case with Marley. I had not worn her since Spring and I am so glad my blind choice led to this color.
Now, don't forget to check out Sam and Rie's blogs to see their Violet nails!
