Muffin Monday!! Zoya Caitlin Watermarble (pic heavy)

Muffin is too mesmerized by our new lamp to pick something for me this week...

Instead I'll just show you the fantastic Caitlin from Zoya's Intimate Collection.
She's made this her new spot....
And she is also too busy hazing (don't you just love LOLkittehs?) a comfy in her new spot in my polish room. Yes, I put a soft blanket down for her to see if she would lay in there and sure enough lol.... Now whenever I go in the room to do my nails she lays in her little cubby and keeps me company.

Now onto Caitlin.

Caitlin is the darker of the Two Greys in the Intimate Collection. Words cannot express my love for Caitlin and Dove. So, Caitlin is a medium Grey with slight Purple tones in it. You could say that this is like Zoya Kelly's lighter sister. This polish applies beautifully and could be a one coater, I used Two. Absolutely flattering and painfully chic... What can I say, everyone needs this color and Zoya sure knows how to make beautiful Grey cremes.

Behold! My first ever successful watermarble! I've tried marbling before but I've never been happy with the results. This, however, I am really really happy with and my success with this mani has made me want to keep practicing this technique because the finished product is always so cool. For the marbling I used Zoya's Caitlin, Marley, Kelly & Malia.

Zoya Dove

Yay Grey!

I loooovve me some Grey creme polishes. Probably one of my favorite colors to wear on my nails. I'm always saying there aren't enough Grey cremes out there and with this collection Zoya had given me not One but Two amazing Grey cremes. Today I have on Dove which is the lighter of the Two Greys in the collection.
Dove is a lovely light Putty- Grey creme that is very soft and flattering. The formula was perfection, as I've come to expect from Zoya. For my mani I used Two coats of color. Once again the top coat was more of a formality as these Zoya cremes are very glossy on their own. I cannot even express how much I love this color. It looks great against my skin tone and I love that it is not a nude toned neutral. It's chic, it's easy to wear and it is perfect for the season. I really love the finished product and this turned out to be one of my all time fave manis.

What's a color you can easily wear all the time?

Zoya Danni & Zoya Jules (muchas pics)

Double feature today.

I'm showing these polishes together because they are fraternal twins. Jules being a shimmery Taupe and Dannii being Jules Purple toned sister.
  First up is Dannii:
Click for detail. This is a bit more Golden in person.

And this is the lovely Jules:
Danii and Jules are the Two shimmers in the Intimate Collection. They are both Golden based shimmers and have excellent Two- coat formulas. They both dry to a satin- matte like texture which is quite interesting. Once a top coat is added they really come to life. There is a fabric like look to both of these polishes, like silk is covering your nails. These were the Two colors from the collection I was the least excited about but I still had to have them because they are stunning and excellent go- to/ pedi colors. They are both very flattering and easy on the eyes. I want cozy cardigans in these colors now... Maybe it's time to go shopping...

I love Spring. Do you?

Zoya Marley

Here we go!

I'll be showing you Zoya's Intimate Collection these coming days. I got started with Marley because the softness of this color was really speaking to me. Without further delay here is the lovely Marley.
Marley is a soft Lilac creme with s subtle Silvery shimmer that gives the polish a stunning pearly appearance. The formula is superb, only Two coats were used on this manicure. This color is Spring perfection. Is it the most unique? No, but I am a HUGE sucker for these soft Lilacs and I really love the fact that it doesn't look Easter-y. I'm sooo excited to show you lovelies the rest of this collection. Every color is amazing and I desperately want my closet to match all these colors!

Come back tomorrow for a look at Jules!

Zoya Tallulah

I'm not even gonna say anything...

Here are is some pictures of awesomesauce...
Tallulah is Cerulean shimmer perfection. What else can I say? This color is absolutely beautiful and the formula is amazingly pigmented and smooth. For my mani I used Two coats of color. The shimmer looks like it's suspended in the polish and  the effect is so pretty. This dries very shiny and fast and a top coat is really more of a formality than a necessity. There are some flashes of Purple and Green in this shade that give this Blue amazing dimension. This isn't just another pretty Blue color. I find it hard to be disappointed by Zoya... Can they do any wrong?

This brand has grown on me epically!

Zoya Ivanka

I wanted to be a mermaid...

When I was little I was sooo obsessed with the movie "The Little Mermaid". I'd watch it, rewind it and watch it again... For hours. This color reminds me of mermaids... This is the flashy Zoya  Ivanka
Ivanka is an amazing Emerald Green jelly base packed full of iridescent Green glassflecks that light up my nails like there are spotlights on my hands. This has practically a foil like finish. For my mani I used Three coats of color. The formula is polish perfection. I've been wanting this color for a very long time and I'm very happy that it far surpassed my expectations. Since this screamed "mermaid" to me I went with a fish scale inspired stamp. Ivanka is stunning and an absolute must have if you love Green nails.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Zoya Malia

Starting today...

It's all Zoya all the time until I wear all of my ladies! I have the ones I got during the FB promo and I also have their Intimate Collection coming in on Wedneday to show you! I love Zoya polishes and if I had easier access to their polishes my collection would be mostly Zoya.. I'm pretty sure of that...
  Here is the Lovely Malia.
I do love a great Purple creme. Malia is the epitome of what a lovely, girly polish should be. Hate Pink but want uber girly? Get yourself a bottle of Malia. It is an amazing shade of creamy Lilac, a bit warmer than my pictures show (I'm investing in an Ott- lite soon). The formula is perfection, of course. I only needed Two coats of color but someone with a good steady hand could get away with one coat. I cannot get over how smooth and creamy Zoya's formula is and how glossy the end result is, even before top coat. Zoya's creme polishes are probably the best around. This is insanely flattering and it only makes me want to try the rest of my Zoya polishes desperately.

Also for shiggles and because I've been waiting for this day for sooo long... Here is a very crappy pic of my finished amazing backpiece. Done by Robbie Ludders at Baby Blues, Bradenton FL. This was two years in the making guys!

How many of you took advantage of the Zoya promo?

Muffin Monday!! Orly Hook Up!

Whoa this is bright!

This is absolutely a change from Blues for Muffin.
Yellow will never be my color but I'll make an exception for Hook Up!. This is a cool toned Yellow with a pearly shimmer. It is so bright and happy The formula was surprisingly smooth and easy to work with. I still needed Three coats to get full evenness but I had no issues with bald spots, dragging or streaking. I decided to try this glitter stripe look once more because I loved the look I did recently over WWTC from O.P.I. This time I did all 10 nails to break up the Yellow since it makes my skin look a bit too Red when I wear it by itself. Anyways this is a pretty Yellow shade with a great formula and my favorite Yellow polish out of the Three I own. If you have never tried a Yellow polish and have been wanting to this would be a good one start with since it has such a great formula.

What are your thoughts on Yellow polish?
