Today I have a totally awesome splatter mani. I haven't really been shy about my love of Essence Color and Go polishes. I really wish that the ENTIRE Essence line was available in the states. They release some really incredible stuff in Europe... I own some of that awesomeness thanks to the lovely Deborah but I just cannot get enough of these little polishes.... So, it had been a while since I busted out my Color & Go's and I was really wanting to play with some of these because I just love these little suckers. I have a really cool mix of colors and I always want to mix them in really contrasting ways... As such :D!
So for this mani I started with alternating bases of Lime Up! and Underwater. Then I splattered with the alternating colors using a little coffee stirrer straw thingie. I love those because I can really aim at the nail and it makes it a little less messy and a lot faster for me. How cute is this combination?! It looks like pictures of Planet Earth from Space or something. I am just over the moon with this mani! To top it all off I added a coat of INM Northern Lights.
And there you have it! I love these polishes!! They are .99 cents and they are just AMAZING. They have outstanding formulas and great brushes. I love theseee!!! Go get some!! lool!!Happy Caturday!!
beautiful mani! and I love the colors of the polishes.. =)

ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!!! :D
ReplyDeleteoooh this looks awesome! I adore the color&go's - I guess I'll try the combination the next days!!xoxo Anna
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute! I don't have many essence polishes but I might have to try and find that lime color :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. I never thought of using a coffee stir to do a splatter manicure!! I was using a pen I took apart and made a mess of anything and everything local! Ill have to add a couple straws to my collection now :)
ReplyDeleteThis manicure is super cool Cristina. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I love the colour combination.
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! I have yet to try a splatter mani!
ReplyDeleteI was just saying the other day on my blog about how much I love the Essence polishes! I mean really, 99 cents?!? Can't go wrong there! And I have yet to find one that didn't have a wonderful formula, and I really like their brushes!
Such gorgeous mani!!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I love the colors and pattern!
ReplyDeleteThis is a super cute mani! I love it. The colors really go well together too. I wish I could find some Essence polishes but the only place I know that they're sold is kind of far. Maybe one day I'll get some!
ReplyDeleteSo cool!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat mani is absolutely AMAZING! And the two colors look so great together! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
ReplyDeleteNot sure Ive seen Essence around my area. Where would one find them?
ReplyDeleteVery cool mani!! I love Essence polishes too but we can't get them in the UK :(
ReplyDeleteI was thinking planet also! Neat!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Loving this, I'll have to try it!
ReplyDeletecoool design!!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks good!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how the grass is always greener on the other side :D I'm from Germany and I'm really not that big on essence at all. I get some of their limited editions, but I've never really paid attention to the regular range. Instead I'm coveting various US brands that would cost me an arm and a leg to acquire. To be fair, I have generally been disappointed with the durability of Essence. They all start flaking off after just one days or less. The formula might be great, but what use is it if I have to redo my nails all the time?
ReplyDeleteAlso, why on earth do they cost twice as much in Germany as they do in the US? Unfair *pouts*
Talk about gorgeous. I'm loving this mani.
ReplyDeleteSuper awesome! I do not own any Essence, and I wish I could find them in PR! Gotta try a splatter mani, have to buy some coffee stirrers, lol!
ReplyDeletethis is so great!
ReplyDeleteI found Essence at Ulta Beauty. I picked up 38 Choose Me! Haven't tried it, since I just got it yesterday. Love this mani too!! :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is so GREAT! =)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I am getting old. I just don't like this one. Where the yellow/green is hits my gut about like Trendsetter from fall China Glaze did and OPI fall whatever it was call about 'hurry up - Roll Down the Window! Naw - not getting old - just a tish more classic leaning than this I guess.
ReplyDeleteThat looks absolutely amazing! I especially like the light layer of glitter on top :)
ReplyDeleteI love this mani! But I'm totally not understanding what you're talking about with the coffee stirrer or how to do it. I'd love to see something step by step!!!
ReplyDeleteSUPER cool combo!
ReplyDeleteNice mix of colors. :-)
ReplyDeleteI tried this last week and made the biggest mess. I think I used too much nail polish on the stirrer. i'm going to try this again in the future but use less polish.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Beautiful manicure :D I must try it ;D
