It is Monday and that means it is time for another Muffin Monday! Today she picked for me a Franken I mixed up some time ago. I never came up with a name for it so it just became "The Nameless Franken". I usually have a pet peeve against nameless polishes but for some reason neither Mr. LTHP nor I could come up with a name for this creation. Suggestions?
To see Muffin's pick in action just keep reading after the jump.
The Nameless Franken
This creation came about when I purchased a brand new bottle of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie to replace a bottle that was 3/4 empty... I just plain did not feel like having an almost empty bottle of nail polish laying around so I decided to add some stuff to what was left in the bottle of Nail Junkie. So in here we have some Nail Junkie, some Wet 'n' Wild Blue Moon and some Delia's Marine Breeze, which is really close to O.P.I Ski Teal we Drop. I had to do Three coats for full opacity but I quite like this. It basically ended up being a nice shimmery, creamy dark Teal base with a lot of interesting glittery sparkles suspended in the base. Really pretty....
So loves... What say you... Name suggestions?
Thanks for stopping by!
I love Muffin! Fuzzy cutie. I also really like that polish. My suggestion - Blue Monday or Muffin's Blue since she picked it.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like this franken!
ReplyDeleteAs far as the names? Either Moonlit Bay or Blueberry Muffin.
Moonlit Bay: The dark color with the sparkles reminds me of moonlight bouncing off the waves at night.
Blueberry Muffin: It's a blueberry-ish color. (It really has nothing to do with Muffin. Really!)
This is gorgeous!!! :D I'm not sure what so suggest for a name, but I have to say that this reminds me of the ocean! :D
ReplyDeleteOk, this is goofy, but here I go: Party in the Ocean! :D
Across the Sea? It remind me of Deborahh Lippmann Across The Universe but your franken reminds me more of the sea. :p
ReplyDeleteIce Fishing, Teal Dreams, Teal Junkie, Junkies Delight, Bitches Love Intentions, Ladies Love Respect, Deep Sea Dive, Galactic Ocean?
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! It looks like the ocean. On a stormy day.
ReplyDeleteHow about Don't Teal My Muffin;)
ReplyDeleteI would call it! "Dizzy me"
ReplyDeleteOnce I was so dizzy light head that everything looked like that to me!
Xoxox
I really like that. Makes me think of outer space or the night sky. So definitely something like, Starry Night, Universe of Stars, or wutever. lol
ReplyDeleteWhat about Haley's Comet? It is really pretty, turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo gorgeous! What about Mariana Trench?
ReplyDeletetwinkle, twinkle little star!
ReplyDeleteGaah, why don't polishes ever look on the nails exactly as they do on the bottle sides... Because then I would totally campaign for some company to actually make this. :) :)
ReplyDeleteIt's still beautiful on the nails as well, though. :) The bottle shots are just out of this world...
It reminds me of a starry sky...:)
ReplyDeleteI love this!! When I look at it the name that comes to mind is "Starry Sky". Too cheesy?
ReplyDeleteThat is SO adorable how your kitty picks the polishes!! Cute overload.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that franken is quite pretty. It looks like a creamy "Across the Universe".
Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIn the bottle this brings to mind the children's book Rainbow Fish, there are just so many pretty colors in the bottle, such a shame that didn't come across in the pictures. Perhaps the camera just couldn't catch them? Either way it's still a gorgeous color. It also also makes me think of a shimmery "mermaid tail"
ReplyDeletemabye mermaid tail? :D
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Disco on Neptune?
ReplyDeleteI really love this franken, very pretty. I like how the glitter just adds that right oompf that keeps it from being boring. Maybe you could name is moonlight?
ReplyDeleteHey could you vote for me to be the next Rimmel 10? I'm Megan M. All the infos on my blog!
My first thought was-- looks like Ski Teal We Drop! Love the layers of glitter in this!
ReplyDeleteThat is so stunningly beautiful! I immediately, as others have mentioned, thought of the deep sea. In fact, "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid is now stuck in my head. That'd be a great name for it :)
ReplyDeleteWow great franken! I would call it Ocean Treasuures because the glitter reminds me of lost treasure at the bottem of the sea :).
ReplyDeleteAwesome franken!
ReplyDeleteI'll say Monday Mermaid (:
Girl you are good at frankens! I'd say (S)teal me a Mermaid as a name :).
ReplyDeleteSea of Stars, Poseidon's Bounty
ReplyDeleteLove the color!
Muffin's Blue Moon or
ReplyDeleteMuffin's Choice Monday ;)
Beautiful!
Beautiful!! How about something like "Glitter's Eve"?
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty! I am terrible in the naming department so I will leave that up to other suggestions!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty! Reminds me of Borghese Mediterraneo Sea.
ReplyDeleteocean sky for the name
ReplyDeleteI like it, first thought was " Starry Night "
ReplyDeleteCosmic Observatory
ReplyDeletePS I love Muffin!! She makes Mondays fun!
Make it a partner to Unicorn Puke....Mermaid Puke!
ReplyDelete"Don't Teal My Muffin"
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it Emm!!! :)
Ocean Lights! That's the first thing that came to mind. Muffin is too cute, by the way! I always love Muffin Monday picks.
ReplyDeleteI am awful with names but this franken is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteBouncy Ball. It looks like the glittery bouncy balls I liked to play with when I was little..
