Good morning loves and happy Friday!
Today's post will be REALLY quick because guess what?? It is really late, I am really tired and I am pretty much ready to be done for the night lol. So here we go.. Nicki Minaj for O.P.I.
SO you are probably wondering where Super Bass Shatter is... I will show you guys the shatter layerings on its own post. For now please enjoy the cremes and glitters.
Pink Friday is an awesome bubblegum shade of Pink. It is rather safe considering that this is a Nicki Minaj collection but it is a pretty color non the less. The formula is pretty good but it does take Three coats.
Overall, I think this is a cute and fun collection but it feels rather safe and tame for being inspired or put together by Nicki Minaj. I mean, she is out there, crazy and pretty unique. These colors don't really have any of those qualities. I feel like they could have done more with these colors... More glitter? More shimmer? Flakes? Matte finishes? IDK.... Something is missing...
What do my lovelies think?

There is absolutely nothing in this collection I don't want , I may have to buy the cremes on payday, stunning on your nails as always :)
ReplyDeleteI would think that the creams would have a lot more shimmer or flakies in it. I'm not a big fan of the WOOHOO look at me glitters/flakies/madness ;) But it being Nikki Minaj and all, I kind of expected a bit more. I figured the cremes would be more neon, have more pop or something, but hey, that's just me. :)

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Metallic 4 Life. I haven't tried any of the others I bought yet, but I'm looking forward to trying Fly & Did It on 'Em. I'm not crazy about the pink and I'm undecided about the bar glitter in Save Me. I have Super Bass too, but I haven't tried it yet. I may be behind the times, but I still love a crackle!
ReplyDeletei saw this collection awhile back but was not that impressed. the colors just looked like i had seem them before. that said, your swatches make them look gorgeous. i am rethinking the glitters and that teal blue.

ReplyDeleteI love all of these colors except for the green... I'm just not a that shade of green kind of gal I guess. I do like green nails, just not that kind of green. I'm a sucker for pink, and I'd have to pick that one as my favorite from this collection.
