Today I have another color from The Hunger Games Collection. Along with Luxe and Lush, I also picked up Fast Track and Riveting. Today I will be showing you Fast Track. I was on the fence about this color but finally decided to take the plunge and just go for it because once it is gone it is gone and I'd hate to feel like I missed out on a color I could have loved. Fast Track is a lovely color with amazing shimmer but sadly, it did not do any favors for my skin tone so I did this....
So I started with Two coats of Fast Track. Since I was not LOVING how it looked on me I spiced it up with some contrasting sponging. I lightly sponged on the tips with China Glaze Glittering Garland and on top of that I added some Zoya Ivanka to give it extra sparkle and depth. Once I had the gradient going I was actually over the moon with this look (which I wore to go see The Hunger Games BTW).
To see swatches of Fast Track just keep reading after the jump.
China Glaze Fast Track
Fast Track is a beautiful shade of beige packed full of Golden- Green micro shimmer. This is really a gorgeous color but it does not really do anything for my skin tone or visa versa. The formula on this color is really good and does well in Two coats. Thanks for stopping by!
I've been eyeing Fast Track ever since it was announced. So eager to try it.
ReplyDeleteAs for your mani - it looks stunning. That green is AMAZING on you.
Love love love this mani! ^-^
ReplyDeleteLove it. Must copy it.
ReplyDeleteFast Track is not one of my favourits from the hunger games collection but with the Green gradient it looks great!
ReplyDeleteAwesome glitter gradient! I love the colors you chose!
ReplyDeleteI love the green gradient you did on top of it! gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is very Christmassy! I LOVE gradients at the moment x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mani! I didn't see Ivanka at first but it gives the whole mani much depth.
ReplyDeleteI just got Fast Track and I had the same problem with a lack of favor and skin tone, but I am so in love with the color I just can not bring myself to get rid of it! I will definitely have to try your gradient idea!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the Fast track. Very pretty.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful combo hun, love it!
ReplyDeleteLove Aysh xoxo
Fast Track is gorgeous. It reminds me of Essence Irreplaceable!
ReplyDeleteNice Gradient. Interesting pick of the 2 green sparkles to do it with. I think Fast Track DOES look good on your skin tone. I surely hear you about not getting it and then regretting it later. However, I do think a # of this collection has been horded by secondary market folks - which I think is going to be a big let down for them getting rid of this collection other than Lux & Lush and Riveting. The others did not turn out to be huge with most collectors - sort of a meah collection when all the hype was over. But like you and many others like you, it got to be a 'I better get this one and this one and well..I only have 2 more to buy to have the entire collection, might as well get those. But I can see this one as I said, being hard to unload on the secondary market. However if you like Riveting, get a 2nd bottle now. I see that one going up like some of the HTF ones before too long.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot. I bought Fast Track and I'm not sure why, lol, I wasn't crazy about the color with my skin tone either. But this is a great idea and looks great with the green polishes!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous combo! I haven't worn Fast Track yet so I have no idea what it'll look like with my skin tone. Lol.
