Good Morning loves and good Monday!
Notice anything different around here :D? I've lit my background in Blue for the month of April. April is Autism awareness month and Blue is the color to wear! I did not have a great day yesterday. I did not feel well and therefore did not have the "stamina" to do my nails. I really, really wanted to do something with Blue for today so I updated my mani from yesterday with some Blue dotties. And guess what? I LOVE this!! The Blue dots really set this mani off. Yay for kick ass nails for a good cause!
Isn't my smallest dotting tool I added some little Electric Blue dots in my go-to shade of Blue, Zoya Tallulah. Isn't this so cute?
Sorry for the blurry second pic. It was the best one I got and I was too tired and sore to continue taking pictures. I hope you like these and that you will join me in rocking some Blue during the month of April.
Thanks for stopping by!
All sorts of dot patterns r my favorite. Nice design!
ReplyDeleteVery nice design for a very important reason of awareness.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, it has a kind of retro feel to it! ^-^ I also didn't know it was autism awareness month, hm thanks for telling (:
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty! You have such cute nails :)
ReplyDeleteCute. Today I'm wearing Orly Blue Collar in Support of World Autism Awareness Day...
ReplyDeleteI love this look! I'm joining you with the blue, but with a plain swatch of Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. Where did you get your dotting tools?
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of those Turkish charms that are said to ward off the evil eye :)

This is such a cute mani, it's absolutely adorable and for a brilliant cause. That blue's amazing! x
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I love that you are supporting Autism Awareness!!! This is a huge part of my life, since my daughter is an Aspie. It really just brings me to tears when I see people spreading awareness. Kalli is 10 now, and every day is a challenge. She has been bullied so badly for being different, all because people just have no clue about autism. I'll be posting 30 days of blue manis this month in support of Autism Awareness month. I'll also be sharing some stories about what we have been through, as well as out triumphs. I would be honored if you would check in and give it a read every once in awhile. Thank you so much for posting this. You rock!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you updated your mani! Thank you for spreading the word on such an important cause! <3
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous. And your support is appreciated!
ReplyDeletegreat to see you got into the spirit of autism awareness day!i did my nails too. http://osirisandlokipainttheirnails.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/blue-nails-for-autism-awareness-day.html MY daughter has ASD so it was only appropriate to at least paint them blue!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know this month is Autism Awareness month. I am looking at your mani, trying to disect it. Looks like you used a super large dotting tool for the black dots, then back over those with a smaller for the white dot, then back over that with the blue dot, using a smaller dot tool for the blue??? It gives the illusion of being done a different way. My eyeballs are so bad at tearing down nail art. I guess that is why I don't do much of it. But I can use a dotting tool and stamp! These look great - in blue they look like blue fried eggs in the fry pan!!! Gotta love Tallulah!
ReplyDeleteI have a slight (okay, major) dot addiction and I love this!! Thanks for showing that you can update a mani you are already wearing and still make it fabulous, gives me hope that one day I will be less lame lol.
ReplyDeleteAdorable as always! As a mom of a daughter with Asperger's Syndrome, this warms my heart!
