Colors by Llarowe Summer 2014- Jellies & Crellies

(**Press Samples**)

Today I want to share some new summer shades from a HUGE release from Colors by Llarowe. Featured are some of the jellies and crellies Leah Ann created for the Summer season.
To see up close shots just keep on reading after the jump.
All swatches shown with a top coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast for shine.

Colors by Llarowe Blue Jeans and Beauty Queens- This pretty is a beautifully unique shade of periwinkle blue jelly. The formula is a bit streaky on the first two coats, but it evens out nicely when a third coat is added. I found it best to keep a light hand. The formula is true jelly, which gives this color is cool squishy finish.

Colors by Llarowe Strawberry Wine- This beauty is a yummy shade of deep magenta pink jelly. This shade is a true jelly, with a great formula. I used Three coats for my swatch. As you can see, I still had some VNL going on (VNL does not bother me though). The jelly nature of this color makes it somewhat of a chameleon. Meaning, it will definitely look a bit different on different skin tones.

Colors by Llarowe Subtle Little Number- This pretty is a very light shade of pink crelly packed with large pastel yellow, pink and white hexes as well as large pink dots. The formula was nice and smooth. I had some issues getting the larger bits to come out. I used Three thin coats for my swatch.

Colors by Llarowe Smokin' in the Boys Room- This awesome shade is a true, smokey grey, jelly. I absolutely LOVE this color and the fact that it is a true jelly. I used Three thin and easy coats for my swatch.

Colors by Llarowe Frenzy- This shade is a seriously bright magenta pink crelly. The formula on this color is an absolute dream and does well in two coats. With this color I ran into some staining so I definitely suggest a good base coat with this pretty..

Colors by Llarowe Candy is Dandy- This beauty is a pink toned lilac crelly. I love purples that lean a bit pink. The formula on this color is amazingly smooth and easy to work with. I used two coats for my swatch.

Colors by Llarowe Liquor is Quicker- This beauty is a light, blue toned, purple crelly that is extremely bright. I really love how this shade looks much brighter on the nails than it does in the bottle. I used Three thin and easy coats for my swatch.

Colors by Llarowe Summer... Finally!- This shade is a true barbie pink neon jelly. I had some troubles getting a decent photo of this pretty. I also had some fairly major VNL after three coats. I could care less about VNL so I actually really enjoyed this shade. I used three thin coats.
Below is a slightly more accurate pic.

Colors by Llarowe Read my Lips, More New Colors- This shade is an amazing, neon creamsicle orange crelly. I had to take this photo with my iPhone to get close to what it looked like in person. This is one of my favorites from the entire CbL Summer release. I used three thin coats for my blinding orange nails.

The Colors by Llarowe Summer release is up on the Llarowe site right now. Most of the jellies and crellies retail for $6.00.

My faves in this bunch would have to be Blue Jeans and Beauty Queens, Liquor is Quicker, Read my Lips More New Colors and  Smokin' in the Boys Room. Which of these are tickling your pickle?

  1. Kicking myself I didn't get any of these, just holos and glitters, but there were just so many! Maybe next restock, need that blue!!!! Great pix and post :)

  2. All of these polishes look lovely and your swatches are great! I really like Blue Jeans and Beauty Queens, Liquor is Quicker, and Smokin' in the Boys Room (:

  3. Gah...I need more jelly polishes in my life! <3

  4. Oh my word - Read my Lips, More New Colors!! Need!

  5. I love how squishy these look - especially that first shade!
