A negative space manicure basically leaves part of your natural nail "exposed". I started with completely naked nails. I placed the chevron nail vinyl towards the center of my nails. This created a division that I then colored in with my chosen Nicole by O.P.I shades
I accented the tips of my nails by sponging a bit of Nicole by O.P.I Shaved Nice. This sparkler is a super fun mix of micro silver glitter accented by white glitter and hexes in copper, red, green and purple. It is such a fun glitter. I also cleaned up the seams between my naked nail and The Coral of the Story by using an Inglot glitter striper, #86. I finished it all off by adding one final coat of Seche Vite.
I love negative space manicures. They are quick to do, but look really interesting and different. Have you tried a negative space look? I also love these Nicole by O.P.I shades. These are available now (CVS, Kmart, Ulta, etc) and retail for $7.99. They have really great formulas and the glitter is really pretty and easy to work with.
