Tutorial Thursday! Colors by Llarowe Shimmering Color Drops Look (+ Video Tutorial)

(**Press Samples**)
Today I will be starting a new weekly installment called "Tutorial Thursdays"!! I am suuuper excited :D! I have so many ideas for all kinds of different nail art tutorials. For this first Tutorial Thursday I'm showing a variation of my Color Drops tutorial that I did for Kelly of Vampy Varnish early last year.
When I saw these new multi-chromatic shimmers from Colors by Llarowe I just KNEW I had to do this technique with them. More after the jump.

These beautiful shimmers definitely did not let me down! The effect they created when used with the color drops technique is just magical. I love how they managed to remain so color- shifty even in delicate swirls.
My base color is the fantastic CbL When Doves Cry. This shade is an unique shade of soft, dove grey linear holographic. For the color drop decals I used the following shades:
Colors by Llarowe Connie's Nosy Neighbor- A mind- blowing, true purple shimmer/glassfleck with a pink to copper to gold shift.
Colors by Llarowe Holiday Road- An incredibly unique shimmering lime green glassfleck shade with contrasting red to copper shift.
Colors by Llarowe Alternate Universe- A beautiful shade of shimmering aqua/ teal with a golden duochrome.
I finished these off with a coat of Cult Nails followed by a coat of INM Northern Lights, which I added a bit later... because more glitter.

To see a breakdown of how to achieve this look check out this tutorial!

I hope you guys enjoyed this look and tutorial. This technique is SOO versatile, it even works with gel polishes. I actually learned this technique while at a CND presentation while at Premiere Orlando in 2012. I had a lot of fun picking colors and creating my decals, I could have made 20 of them! If you guys give this technique a try I'd love to see your looks!! You can hashtag your photos on social media with #LTHP :D.

 Thanks for coming by today!

  3. It's a binder. Like the kind you use in school. The ones with the outer clear sleeve where you can slide paper in :D
