O.P.I Pink of Hearts 2014 Duo

(**Press Samples**)
In the midst of getting ready for work, I have also decided to get a quick post up for you guys :D. Todays quickie is all about O.P.I's Pink of Hearts release for their breast cancer awareness duo, 2014. Every year O.P.I comes up with beautiful Pink themed shades to support the breast cancer cause. This year was no exception with the introduction of a new crelly glitter shade and the revival of an old favorite.

O.P.I The Power of Pink- This adorable shade is a creme-jelly based polish. The base is a soft, milky shade of Pink. This beautiful squishy base is accented by matte white and fuchsia glitter. The glitter varies in sizes, there are chunky hexes and small hexes that create an almost floral look. I experienced absolutely NO problems when working with this color. The spread of glitter is great and the base is perfectly smooth and buttery. I used Three thin coats.

O.P.I Mod About You- Long time O.P.I fans will recognize this name. Mod About You is an O.P.I classic. This shade of soft, white- based Pink has been a favorite of mine for years. The formula is fantastic and does great in Two coats. I did notice that the new version is a slightly different shade than the original shade. I'm not sure if or when O.P.I might have reformulated this color, but my older bottle is definitely a more White based Pink, where the new one is slightly warmer and more vibrant (my camera hates photographing pinks so it muted this one a bit).

Here is a quick comparison I did on Instagram of the old Mod About You and the new one.
Along with these two beautiful shades the duo also includes an adorable, small glittery nail file with a BCA ribbon charm. This duo is available now at professional salons including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, Ulta.com and Ulta as well as a lot of other retailers and online. Retails for $16.95.

What do you guys think of this years duo?

Fall Nail Art with Shades from the Zoya Ignite Collection

(**Press Samples**)
Ahh Zoya. You and your perfect Fall collections will forever have a special place in my heart. This look features shades from the amazing Ignite collection for Fall 2014. I am just blown away by the richness and opulence of these shades. For this look I wanted to incorporate Three of the shades in a slightly Steampunk- Boba Fett fashion. This look features Zoya Yuna and Zoya Remy in a gradient, and Zoya Autumn as the freehanded accent.

Zoya Yuna- Zoya describes Yuna as  a full-coverage warm grey with copper and gold liquid metal. This shade is stunning and so unique. I love the strong golden shimmer that gives it an almost duochrome look.
Zoya Remy- Zoya describes Remy as a  a brilliant indigo with copper and gold liquid metallic shimmer. This shade is MAGICAL. If you were a fan of Charla you will absolutely LOVE Remy. She is so saturated and richly pigmented that she practically jumps off the nails.
Zoya Autumn- Zoya describes Autumn as  a varnished copper liquid metal. I was on the fence about this color until I saw her in action. She has a beautiful glowy quality and is just spectacular.
I really love these ultra reflective shades. These beauties are bold and beautiful and so very unique. I am definitely thoroughly enjoying the Ignite Collection by Zoya. These beauties also coordinate so well, they are beautiful as nail art. The Ignite collection is available now from Zoya.com.

Did you pick up any of these shades? Also, thoughts on glam Boba nails?

Zoya Entice Chocolate Drops Look

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Thursday beauties!! Today's look is all warm and delicious. For this look I brought together Four of the shades from the Fall 2014 Entice collection by Zoya. The Four creamy beauties definitely represent Fall very well. I love how rich this palette is and how great these shades look when brought together. These really do make me wish the weather was cooler already so I could sit out back with a nice hot chocolate... Alas, I live in South Florida.... it will never happen lolol. But I can at least enjoy the warm fuzzy feelings on my nails :D.

Zoya Nyssa- Zoya describes Nyssa as  a milk chocolate brown in the flawless, full-coverage cream formula. Nyssa is the base color on my index and pinkie nails. She is also the accent over my thumb, middle and ring nails. The formula is absolutely amazing and does well in Two easy coats.
Zoya Claire- Zoya describes Claire as a warm, rich burgundy with a flawless, full-coverage cream finish. Claire pulled a tad bit more to the rich Brown side, rather than Burgundy on myself. Claire is the base color on my thumb. I used Two easy coats for this color as well.
Zoya Veronica- Zoya describes Veronica as a full-coverage brilliant red wine. Veronica is the base on my middle nail, and the accents over my pinkie nail. I used Two easy coats of this color.
Zoya Margo- Zoya describes Margo as  a modern red plum in a flawless, full-coverage. I really enjoyed this shade as it was not so dark of a plum shade that it went black in dim light. Margo is the base on my ring nail, and the accent over my index nail. I used Two easy coats of this color.

All of these shades have amazing formulas and apply like butter. They are also very glossy on their own, adding a top coat makes them glassy and wonderful.

Did you pick up any shades from the Entice collection?

Anime Grunge

(**Press Samples**)
Circle lenses make me feel like a cool anime babe and that is all there is to it. I love wearing them and I love, essentially, to create characters based solely on what my eyes look like on any given day. On this particular day I decided I wanted to rock these dramatic light blue lenses. I was not sure what to expect from this pair, as I usually tend to go for lenses that are more "natural" looking. Surprise, surprise... I LOVE these! What are these you ask? These are the Princess Pinky Eclipse Blue lenses, and they are available from Pinky Paradise. More after the jump.

Jordana Playful Pastels Cotton Candy Gradient

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Tuesday beauties!! Today's look is a sweet pastel rainbow gradient I just had to do with the Playful Pastels collection by Jordana. I don't have much info on this collection.  They just showed up at my place, like a yummy little treat :D. I know it is available online from the Jordana site and they retail for $1.99. I'm not sure if it is limited edition or not, but something about this collection does feel LE. As you may have guessed, this cute release is made up of pastel shades, Six of them to be exact. These macaron- inspired shades have got me craving all things sweet.

Jordana Whimsical White- You guys can see this one here, because it is being used as the base for my gradient. Whimsical White is a lovely shade of marshmallowy white creme-jelly. The formula is wonderful and the finish is just adorable. I only needed Two coats.
Jordana Baby Blue- This shade is a classic, true baby blue creme-jelly. The formula on this pretty is definitely crelly and has a perfect squishy finish. I love how the crelly texture functioned in the gradient.
Jordana Merry Mint- This shade has the same type of formula as Baby Blue. Merry Mint is a perfect shade of pastel mint green. It is not a "vivid" pastel. It has a very delicate feel to it, just lovely.
Jordana Sunsational- This shade is a primary pastel yellow creme. It is a very warm shade of yellow and could be hard to pull off for some. In this gradient it shows up more as a more vibrant shade of pastel yellow. This shade has one of the denser formulas in the collection. I think it would do well in Two coats.
Jordana Pink Petunia- This is your classic pastel bubblegum pink creme. This shade also leans on the warmer side of pastel. The formula on this color is also fairly dense, and a true creme.
Jordana Lively Lilac- This pretty is another creme- jelly shade. Lively Lilac is slightly more pigmented than the baby blue and mint shade. The name say it all for this pretty shade of lilac crelly.

I topped my gradient off with a coat of Seche Vite, followed by a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. Then I sealed it off again in some Seche Vite to help with dry time. I love how soft and dreamy this gradient turned out. The sheerness of the mint and blue shade were bothering me at first, but the finished result changed my mind.

Thanks for coming by today!

Neon Cyborg Eye Look

(**Press Samples**)
Haaayy!! Lately I've been craving makeup play time. So, I've been doing just that these past few days.... I also have a serious backlog of circle lenses to share with you guys... HOORAY Multitasking :D! I know it is still quite a ways to Halloween.. But WHATEVER! If Wal-Mart can put out Christmas decorations up in October... Then I can certainly start sharing some Halloween-y stuff on here, right lolol?

This look is inspired by these awesome cosplay circle lenses I got from Lens Village. These are unlike most circle lenses I've reviewed in that these are more on the cosplay side. I really dig the animated look they have and how vibrant the Pink accents are. I wish I could go around rocking these on the daily though... They are pretty neat. So yeah, I knew I wanted to do something really edgy and kind of crazy. I wanted to do something that is not every day, or "normal".
The lenses are the Geo Animation lenses. This pair is among the smallest I own, diameter wise, as well. They are 14.2 mm. I found these to be really easy to put on. This pair was also really comfortable and gave me no issues. My general experience with Geo brand lenses has always been good, now that I think about it. They have always been really comfortable. I also had no issues with my vision being impaired in any way. I could see just fine with these on.
Since these lenses made me feel a bit like a cyborg, I went for a neon and metallic look. I felt like the prettiest robot girl there ever was ;).

Products used:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight.
NYX Eye Shadow Base in White, concentrated on the eye lid area.
Sugarpill Tiara (Silver)
Sugarpill Dollipop (Matte Neon Pink)
Sugarpill- Bulletproof (Matte Black)
Sugarpill- Chaos (Shimmering Purple)
Sugarpill Soot & Stars (Shimmering Gunmetal)
Sugarpill Acidberry (Lime Green)
Sugarpill Diamond Eyes (Shimmering White)

I also used a bit of Lit Cosmetics Glitter in Beyond Pink layered over Dollipop for the bright pop of Pink. I used Violet Voss Secret Weapon as my base for the glitter. On my waterline is Rimmel Kohl Pencil in White. For my lashes I used my beloved Ellis Faas Black mascara. The giant Blue lashes are by Red Cherry. The winged liner was done with the Jesse's Girl Waterproof liquid liner.

For my brow I used a "base" of NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk then Sugarpill Velocity. I also layered a bit of glitter over my Blue brow. I went with Lime Crime Zodiac Glitter in Cancer. I'm pretty stoked on how that brow turned out for only being my second color brow, ever.

This is how I roll lolol.... Anyhow, I thought it would be cool to show the complete and utter contrast that is crazy makeup vs. no makeup. Also lens v. no lens. Eventually I will venture into full- face looks again... For now I just wanted to play with eye makeup and these cool- ass lenses.

Thank you guys for coming by today!! Who else is kinda ready for Halloween? Bleep. bloop. beep......

O.P.I Nordic Mish Mash Nail Art Look

(**press samples**)
Hello lovely readers and happy Monday! Today I want to share this mish mash fall look I did using some of the shades from the beautiful O.P.I Nordic collection for Fall 2014. I will be very honest and say that I was not expecting much from this collection judging by the original promo shots. Once I got to see them in person it was a whole different story. I actually really love all the shades in this release and have been really enjoying bringing them together in funky nail art looks.

This look features the following shades:
O.P.I Do you Have This Color in Stock-Holm-  This shade is a vibrant shade of true Violet creme. I can't really say that it leans Blue, or Red. To me this shade is a perfectly balanced, rich and vibrant, shade of Purple.
O.P.I My Voice is a Little Norse- This pretty is an amazing blend of small holographic, super sparkly, glitter suspended in a lightly smoked out base. This baby is fairly densely packed, but it does best layered. I'm not sure this glitterbomb could achieve opacity on its own. For this look I decided to use a cosmetic wedge sponge to apply the glitter in a gradient over Do You Have this Color in Stock-Holm.
O.P.I Suzi has a Swede Tooth- This shade is your classic Pink creme. It is a really balanced and flattering shade of Pink creme that will appeal to many different tastes. In this look I decided to add it as little pops of vibrant dots.
O.P.I Ice-Bergers and Fries- This shade is a rich camel- toned brown, leans a tad red. I was not expecting to love this shade as hard as I do. It reminds me of lush leather handbags and matching knee- high boots. Wearing this shade as my base on my Pinkie and Index fingers brought this mani up to "Fall Speed".

I finished this look off with two generous coats of Seche Vite.

I absolutely adore how these colors play together. I also adore the formulas for all of these colors. They all went on buttery smooth and gave me no issues. Even the colors I used as accents were a joy to work with. Also.. the names :D, the names are great! This collection is available now at most (if not all) O.P.I retailers. Have you picked any of these babies up?
