Hello lovely readers! Today I want to share these delicious goodies by Rituel de Fille. This is a "new to me" cosmetics brand. The lovely people of Gloss 48 were kind enough to provide me with a few Rituel goodies to play with and I am so excited to share my thoughts with you guys. Keep on reading to find out more about these goodies.
The first product I just HAD to play with was the Rituel de Fille Enchanted Lip Sheer in Blackthorn. I was immediately drawn to this lip color for its rich vampy and grungy look. Blackthorn is a deep Blackberry shade. This shade has an interesting application as it feel a bit dry and patchy when first going on, but does "soften" and blend as it sits on the lips. I will say that is important to exfoliate the lips before wearing this color as it will definitely accentuate dry skin on the lips.
Another great thing about this beauty is that while it is labeled as a sheer, it does build up quite nicely. Blackthorn can be worn as a flush of vampy color, or built up to very opaque. The thing I love most about this shade is how much it reminds me of 90's grunge.

Next up is an Ash and Ember Eye soot. This is a really interesting product. First thing that jumped out at me was the beautiful packaging. I love the little jar. Not only does it show off the product beautifully, it gives it a luxurious feeling. The next thing that jumped out at me is the consistency of the product. I was fully expecting this to be a loose pigment. To my surprise it is somewhere between a creme and a "paint pot". I will admit that the consistency of the Serpent de Mer makes it a bit challenging to not only get out of the jar, but also apply. I'm still trying to figure out the most efficient way to pull product out of the little jar to then use accordingly. The best method so far has been sticking to my stiffer shader eye brushes, or smudge brushes depending on how I want to wear the product.
With that said, I must admit that Serpent de Mer is an absolute beauty. On me she wears as a delicious Plummy Bronze. Once again I get a really grungy feel from this product, which I just love.
Rituel de Fille is available from Gloss 48. The lovely people have also been kind enough to provide me with a code for my awesome readers. Use code LTHPOLISH for $10 off any purchase of $30 or more until September 18th, 2014.
