A Crown of Thistles

 While I was going through my photo folders I came across a small gold mine of un-posted goodies. Among these was this swatch of a most magnificent shade from the A England Elizabeth and Mary Collection. If I am not mistaken, this collection was released around the holidays in 2014. Good news though, these beauties are still available for purchase :D! 

 Lets talk about A England Crown of Thistles. This beauty is a stunning Purple holographic, like only A England can produce. There is something about the way A England does their holos that is just magical. They are like holos within holos. To my eye it looks like a simultaneous linear, and scattered holo effect. However, nothing about the effect is overwhelming. This is one of those holos that is just as stunning in Sunlight as it is indoors. This is a red-leaning Purple, which makes it insanely flattering and easy on the eyes. 

  The formula on this color is your usual A England perfection. I've come to expect nothing less from this great brand. This baby went on opaque and dense, yet smooth and buttery. I used two effortless coats for my manicure. However, I could have very easily gotten away with one coat of this color.

Oldies, but Goodies... And much overdue Updates

Hello and happy Tuesday my lovely readers! 

 It's been how long now? Much too long... I don't have any great excuses for my absence, not really. I wish I had a good reason for my slight disappearance. In some ways, I suppose I do. Sometimes life really does get crazy. Sometimes, priorities get shifted and things happen that make you really sit down and think about what is important to you at that specific time in your life. I really don't wanna go into boring and sad things... But please know this, I miss sharing my work. I miss interacting with all the wonderful people who come by to read my ramblings and look at my silly nails. I don't know what the future holds for myself, or LTHP... But, I do know that I miss "wasting" countless hours painting my nails and my face. I look forward to having the space, the time and motivation to get back to doing just that. 

I've had this post in my drafts for ...????... A LONG TIME... A very long time. All these shades were released for Summer 2014 by Colors by Llarowe. Once again, I'm finding myself with no good excuses as to why these didn't go up much, much sooner... Better late than never, I suppose?
