Oldies, but Goodies... And much overdue Updates

(**Press Samples**)
Hello and happy Tuesday my lovely readers!

It's been how long now? Much too long... I don't have any great excuses for my absence, not really. I wish I had a good reason for my slight disappearance. In some ways, I suppose I do. Sometimes life really does get crazy. Sometimes, priorities get shifted and things happen that make you really sit down and think about what is important to you at that specific time in your life. I really don't wanna go into boring and sad things... But please know this, I miss sharing my work. I miss interacting with all the wonderful people who come by to read my ramblings and look at my silly nails. I don't know what the future holds for myself, or LTHP... But, I do know that I miss "wasting" countless hours painting my nails and my face. I look forward to having the space, the time and motivation to get back to doing just that.
I've had this post in my drafts for ...????... A LONG TIME... A very long time. All these shades were released for Summer 2014 by Colors by Llarowe. Once again, I'm finding myself with no good excuses as to why these didn't go up much, much sooner... Better late than never, I suppose?

More after the jump
Let's see if I still remember how to describe polishes, shall we?

Colors by Llarowe When Doves Cry- This beautiful shade is a creamy holographic dove grey. What I love about this holo is that it has a creamy base, but it still manages to have a prominent linear holographic finish. I also love the softness of the color. I love that it is not a traditional Silver holo, and that there are no hints of "metallic-ness" to it. It somehow perfectly balanced being creamy and holographic at the same time. I used two easy coats for my swatch.

Colors by Llarowe Refresh..Ing- This shade is a stunning Turquoise with a strong linear holographic finish. This polish is the holographic equivalent to Hawaiian beaches on your nails. I honestly cannot think of a better way to describe this astounding holographic color. The formula was perfection. I used Two easy coats for my manicure.

Colors by Llarowe Soccer Mom - This pretty baby has that same holographic creamy goodness going on as When Doves Cry. I had not really seen a whole lot of this creamy holo finish until these shades came along. This baby is a beautiful periwinkle Blue with a subtle holographic finish. The holo in this shade is slightly more scattered, rather than linear. I'm 100% certain that this shade looks amazing on everyone and everyone should own it. I used Two easy coats for my manicure.

Colors by Llarowe My Own Private Paradise - Radiant Orchid linear holographic?! GIMMIE! There are not enough words to describe my love for this perfect shade. I have a soft spot for a good Purple holo and this one takes the cake. Much like Refresh-ing, this pretty has a strong linear holo finish and a perfect formula. I used Two coats for my manicure.

Colors by Llarowe Purple is my Crack- Oh yes... Yes it is... This shade... Where do I even begin? No amount of pictures will ever do this nail polish justice. This stunner is made up of micro holographic glitter particles suspended in a light purple jelly base. The glitter is so tiny that it creates a mega twinkling holographic effect. Once again I find myself at a loss when trying to describe just how majestic this color is. This is one to be truly seen in person. I used Three easy coats for my manicure.

Colors by Llarowe I'm Seeing Spots - This adorable topper is made up of small Black and White matte particles suspended in a clear base. I wish I could remember what the hot Pink shade is that I used as my base in this photo. This topper was super easy to work with and the particles spread with ease. I used one coat of I''m Seeing Spots over my hot Pink base.

Colors by Llarowe Mystery and Mayhem - This shade is a magical deep Teal jelly base packed full of twinkling holographic, and teal glitter. This was like wearing a starry night sky on my hands. It has that same twinkly quality as Purple is my Crack. However, in this shade there are some slightly chunkier glitter sizes that really give some amazing depth to the finished manicure. I used Three easy coats for my look.

To be quite honest, I'm not sure how many (if any) of these shades are still available since they were released for summer of 2014. That said, Colors by Llarowe is always releasing AMAZING and unique shades. I don't know how they do it, but they always manage to create mind-blowing shades every season. If you are a holo fan.. You should definitely check out their selection, you will not be disappointed.

I'd like to thank you guys for coming by today. I hope to be in touch again soon. And I promise.. I do not have any other year-old drafts ;).
