BYS Down the Rabbit Hole

Happy Sunday!!

I am making my way back to Florida today. I had an amazing time in Puerto Rico and everything was so wonderful. It was great to hang out with my bestie and to be there with her for her big day. In the mean time please enjoy this swatch of this awesome polish!
Down the Rabbit Hole is a Black base packed full of micro holographic and silver glitter. I LOVE this. It looks like a starry night sky. I am a sucker for anything Black and sparkly and this really hits the spot. I prefer layering this over a Black creme to give it extra depth. Also, I can't stand how BYS polishes smell so anything that cuts down the exposure to the fumes down is great lol.

This is such an epic win in my book.. Like seriously.

So, I know Muffin Monday just started back up again but since I am traveling today I won't have time to do a Muffin Monday this week :(. But there will be a post tomorrow :D.

Thanks for stopping by!

Some Micro Swap Spam

Hi loves!

Today I have the remaining colors I had yet to try from my swap with Carina from Gilded Nails. Let's just get straight to it shall we?

This is Down the Rabbit Hole. I really wish I had Sunlight pics of this but I realized after I put it on that there was no Sun :(. This one is a Black jelly- like base full of micro Silver and holographics sparkle. For this I layered Two coats of Down the Rabbit Hole over one coat of O.P.I Black Onyx .

This one is Mint Condition. I love this one! It's an awesome Minty Green creme but it is not pastel at all. It is actually bordering on neon but not quite all the way there. It's super playful and unique. The only thing I cannot stand with BYS polishes is the horrendous smell. But the colors I have are so pretty! This was Two coats, no top coat.

And last but absolutely not least is China Glaze's Wagon Trail. This one is a blackened Golden- Olive shimmer. So stunning and classy. This is from one of my favorite China Glaze Collections, Rodeo Diva. I have been lemming every single color from this collection ever since I saw Scrangie's swatches. Carina made my day by sending me this beauty because now I am Two colors into this collection... Just a few more to go lol. This was two effortless coats.
I am so grateful to Carina for sending me all the lovely polishes. I am so glad I was able to do this swap with her.

BYS Matte Grey

Today I have another BYS polish from my [swap] with Gilded Nails. This one is an awesome Matte Grey.
So this is how this polish dries. Not very Matte lol. It more so reminds me of a more shiny Orly Plastix finish. Kind of shiny satin? It's really pretty cool. The formula on this is good. A bit thick maybe? But I'm sure that's only because it is a "matte" polish. Here I did Two coats of Matte Grey.

However.... I really wanted to see it go fully matte so I added two coats of Hard Candy's Matte-ly in Love, matte top coat which gave it a super neat sort of rubberized look. Now this is more like it!
It's Grey, it's matte and super awesome. Carina really outdid herself with this swap package and the amazing polishes she sent my way. I can't wait for you guys to see the rest!

BYS Kung Fu Blue

Hi loves!!

Today I have one of my Aussie goodies that came in my [swap] package from Carina from Gilded Nails. I am LALAloving this color soo much! It's Blue, it's playful and Summer perfection. It's Kung Fu Blue!
The last picture is the most color accurate. So, Kung Fu Blue is an amazing Sky Blue creme with just the slightest touch of Green. This is completely out of pastel territory. It reminds me of a more Blue CG For Audrey, with a better formula. The formula for this color is really good. It is creamy and had great pigmentation. For this mani I used Two coats of Kung Fu Blue. The smell on this polish was quite... Different... lol. I don't even know how to describe it but it was pretty strong. Who cares though?! Look at this color!! It's beautiful! I think this needs to be my next pedi...

Thanks for stopping by :)
