From the VAult: SpaRitual Running with Wolves

Happy Sunday!

Today's post will be anther quick one. This color came out for Fall 2011 and it is by SpaRitual. This came from their Wilde Collection and it is a really unique and sultry color.
So... pretty awesome huh? It's a nice Coppery shade with Amber shimmer. This polish has a great formula and it is very heavily pigmented. It is a super flattering shade but it is quite eye-catching in a very good way. This is another one of those "glow from within" colors. Great shade for the Holidays.
Off to decorate my house and tree... Which we have had in the house for like a week looool!

Thanks for stopping by!

O.P.I Glam Slam U.S Duo

Hi loves!!!

Today I have the final duo in the O.P.I Glam Slam Series. This duo was released just in time for the U.S Open. I have to say.. they saved the best for last. This duo is just the bomb and if I was to recommend one of the duos to anyone it would have to be this one. These have brought the sparkle that I was needing in my life after swatching all of the Fall collections. I'm so sorry I have to show you guys these beauties on my nubs of misfortune but I just had to wear these!!
Ughhh!!! Just Ughh!!!! Soo pretty!! And BOLD. These are not for the faint of fingernail....

Love is a Racket. OMG RED! This one is a super saturated Red jelly base packed full of Red shimmers. There is also a flash of warm Gold and soft Pink in there which brightens the Red shade quite a bit. When I first saw this I thought it was a dupe of Nicole by O.P.I I love you Cherry Much but Love is a Racket is a few shades lighter, much brighter and much more in-your-face. For this I used Three coats of color to really give it some dimension. Definite must have.

Pros & Bronze is the most spectacular mix of light Bronze, Pink and Gold micro glitter that creates the most stunning foil effect. This is just amazing and so different from anything I've ever seen. It's bright and perfect for any season really. This had a great formula and builds up nicely at Three coats.

I LOVE these. I've liked the other duos but my favorite ones have got to be this duo and the England duo. I mean just look at these colors! they are so different and vibrant and sparkly!! Yay for sparkles and yay for no more shatter!! These are total must haves!! These are already out and available. I saw them recently at Ulta.

What do you think? Aren't these the best? Also, don't forget to check out my giveaway.

Zoya Metallics Mini Spam

Hi hello!!!

Today I have another micro spam post. Today's post is all Zoya!!! More specifically Zoya Metallics... Well except for the lovely Midori. The lovely fairies at Zoya sent me these babies with the intentions of my using them for nail art. Trust me I fully intend to :D! But First! I wanted to swatch these pretties out to "test" their opacity and formulas.
This is the amazing Midori. This color is something else. This is the most amazing shade of Lime Green Shimmer with slight Golden flashes throughout. This is one of the most beautiful Greens I have ever seen.

Behold! Goldie! OMGGG This color is amazing!!! This one is a bright warm toned Gold. This one really caught me off guard because I could not believe how amazing it looked on the nail. I have a friend that had a color that was pretty darn close to this color. I love that it is a smooth foil Golden finish and that it is not cursed with brushstrokes.

Penny. The name is so dead on. This color is the exact color of a brand new shiny penny. This one is amazing Coppery goodness!

Austine. This one is described by Zoya as a soft pale gold metallic frost with subtle light orange and peach tones flecked with fine silver shimmer. This was the frostier of the shades and will probably be the best for stamping.

And this is Tess. I was also having a hard time describing this baby so once more I referenced Zoya. This one is a metallic light plum rose with pink, bronze and mauve undertones and silver foil shimmer. A classic fall shade but with a fun foil-like finish. I actually really like how this looks on my nails.

All of these polishes were solid Two coaters with the most amazing formulas. My biggest concern when I was trying these was that they would be brustrokey or too sheer OR even worse.. Frosty (GAG). My concerns were unwarranted... It's ZOYA! They all applied perfectly smooth and shimmery but not strokey.

One of the most common topics I get a lot of questions on is stamping and polishes that are good for stamping. Metallics are always amazing for this purpose. They stand out and can give simple polishes a sophisticated, flashy look. I will be experimenting with these pretties soon to show you guys just how great Metallics are for stamping, especially these Zoya beauties, who I must say caught me off guard. I am glad I swatched them first.

Stamping experiments coming soon!!

Essence Just in Case

Ummmm....

   Yeah...... No.... Just no....
I don't think I like this :(!! In the bottle it's a pretty light Bronze shimmer and it is soo pretty... On the nail it is hot streaky mess!!!! I tried so hard to make this look good and to take my time with application but no amount of steadiness was going to fix the fact that the color is HIDEOUS on the nail. It turns into a weird tone of washed out Bronze that does absolutely nothing for me. The formula was good and the brush is great on these. Maybe it's just not right on my skin tone.. IDK but I think this will be tested for stamping and be used exclusively for that purpose because this isn't cute :(. Sorry Just in Case but you're going under the fail tab...

Thoughts?

O.P.I Brisbane Bronze

Hello!

Not a whole lot going on here lol...

O.P.I Brisbane Bronze
Australian Collection
Artificial Light
I'm in "like".
"Brisbane Bronze" is another color from the mini Ulta collection I mentioned yesterday. This is also another color I had no expectations for... I have used it several times for stamping, it is a GREAT stamping polish. I'm really glad I finally tried it because I really like how it looks on my nails. The formula was perfection and I only needed two coats. It's not a color I'll probably wear often but it is a very nice "normal" color that can be worn anytime I can't wear my flashy nails.

Have you checked out My Giveaway yet?

Thanks for Reading :)
