How I Wore It: Cirque Back to Basics Collection

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Wednesday beauties! Today's look goes back to basics. Who doesn't love a classic palette of Black and White? Long time LTHP readers know how much I adore working with these simple colors. Cirque Nail Lacquer recently released new B&W creme shades in her Back to Basics collection. I was very excited to see Cirque venture into making cremes; and even more excited to see she started out with a black and a white creme. More after the jump.

Zoya Tickled DIY Marbled Decal Nail Art

**Press Samples**
OMG much changes!! Such update :D. I hope you guys are enjoying the new look of Let them have Polish!

Not even going to lie... I've been completely obsessed with making my own decals lately. I desperately wanted to try this technique with creme polishes, so I did :D. I had this Zoya Tickled trio set aside for a water marble, but decided to try the color drops method instead. I am so loving the effect this technique created with these three creamy shades. How can I not love sweet cotton candy swirls?!
I painted my nails with Zoya Kitridge. This shade is an amazing, vibrant bubblegum pink creme. I am smitten with this flattering color, and its amazing formula. The formula is very self- leveling and perfectly pigmented.  I only needed Two coats of Kitridge.
To create my decals I used the method shown in my color drops tutorial. For these decals I did space my drops out a bit more. Spacing out the drops created that petal- like effect. For my swirls I used Zoya Ling, and Zoya Rooney. Ling is a beautiful shade of true cerulean blue creme. She is a very balanced shade of blue. Rooney is a vibrant magenta pink creme. She is a classic that will look great on every skin tone. I just love the amazing pops of blue thanks to unique Ling. She adds such a great contrasting touch.
I finished my nails off with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked fast. Of course I added my "traditional" coat of INM Northern Lights because sparkles make everything better. I really enjoy using the color drop method to create marbled nails because it allows me to get more swirls on my nails than a watermarble normally would. I LOOOOVE watermarbles, but I feel like they look so much more kick ass on gals with longer nails. I feel like with the color drops method girls with shorter nails can also enjoy intricate swirl designs on their nails.

I am just LOVING the Zoya Tickled collection shades. The collection feels very cohesive, the colors really do flatter each other. I also love that all six shades look like they could work with all skin tones.. These creamy beauties look great on everyone!

Thanks for coming by today loves!!

Tutorial Thursday! Colors by Llarowe Shimmering Color Drops Look (+ Video Tutorial)

(**Press Samples**)
Today I will be starting a new weekly installment called "Tutorial Thursdays"!! I am suuuper excited :D! I have so many ideas for all kinds of different nail art tutorials. For this first Tutorial Thursday I'm showing a variation of my Color Drops tutorial that I did for Kelly of Vampy Varnish early last year.
When I saw these new multi-chromatic shimmers from Colors by Llarowe I just KNEW I had to do this technique with them. More after the jump.

China Glaze Rainbows and Trippy Stamping

(**press samples**)
On Wednesdays we wear RAINBOWS! With this colorful mani I mark the start of a "new era" in LTHP-ness. And by "new" I mean more like the good 'ol days when my blog was more of my nail polish diary, and not so much a review archive. With this small step "backwards" I hope to re-ignite my blogging flame. I will admit that this mani definitely re-awakened something in me... because COLORS! More after the jump ♥.

Cult Nails Spring Radiance Nail Art and Swatches

(**Press Samples**)

I am closing out this week with something I've never done for the blog before... a delicate freehanded floral. Ever since I got my hands on the Cult Nails Spring Radiance collection; I just knew this is what I wanted to do with the colors. Such delicate, much dainty! More after the jump.

Matchy- Matchy with my JORD Wood Watch

(**Press Sample**)
Hi hello and happy Thursday!

Today's post is all about my awesome JORD Wood Watch and the nails it inspired. A wood watch now? Yes!!! My pretty piece is one of the variations of the Fieldcrest model. There are quite a few color variations available in this style but the Maple sang to me the most. I love the light beige tone of the wood and how it looks so very "natural".
This watch is SO light, which I absolutely love. I do not care for clunky timepieces that feel like they might break my wrist if I high-five someone. Don't let that lightness fool you though, this baby feels solidly built. Even though the watch clearly has a wooden texture, everything about the piece is smooth and polished. And speaking of polished, that is what drew me the most to this particular model. The Fieldcrest looks so very sleek, simple and sexy. I love the small stainless steel accents in the watch- face as well as around the bezel. I love watches that don't clearly look "male" or "female" and this particular style possesses that androgynous quality.
Now let's talk about nails for a moment. Of course.. OF COURSE.... I had to go and match my nails to this beautiful watch. No lie, I spent a good 45 minutes sitting in front of my Bettina drawer picking out which polishes matched my watch the best, and which would marble best.
I finally settled on a base of Bettina Lingerie for my woodsy marble. For the marble portion I used Bettina Magnolia, which adds all that beautiful shimmer you see in the swirls. I also used Bettina #195 and Bettina #196. I also wanted to pull some of the Silver details onto my nail art look so I added some dots with Cult Nails Lethal. I topped my marbles off with some Seche Vite.

I really actually love how these turned out, even if they are a bit darker than the actual watch :D. I really like how the colors came together to create a cool woodgrain look how I had envisioned in my head.
I love the simplicity of this watch. It seems that very simplicity is what makes it so interesting. I mean, it is a wood watch! What more interest could you add than letting the beautiful wood do all the talking?

I am really impressed with this JORD wood watch. And I am so grateful to have been presented with the opportunity to feature one on LTHP because I love great and unique products. You don't see a ton of folks going around rocking wood watches, though they should... because they are AWESOME!

I am beyond thrilled with this watch! She (he?) is a real beauty and I can't wait to wear it with everything!

Glittering Stars and Stripes

(**Press Samples**)
Good evening loves!!

I hope you are all having a marvelous Friday! In this post I want to share some quick and fun patriotic glitter layerings that almost did not get posted haha.... That moment when you realize you drafted a post you meant to go up Two days ago.... Oy.....

The first pairing is all KBShimmer. The awesome starry blend is KBShimmer Red, White and Blue-tiful. Per KBShimmer Red, White and Blue-tiful features mini metallic stars in those classic colors. It features holo marine blue stars, added silver holo graphic stars, and finished with metallic red stars and a scattering of red holo stars.  Swimming among the stars are micro red, sliver and blue glitters and micro holographic glitters for a sparkly finish.  This limited edition polish will be available through the end of July.
I used the method shown in my chunky glitter application video. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease with which the stars came out and stayed on the nail. I also love that the stars are tiny and they lay flat on the nail. The added touch of small hexes gives this topper a really fun twist. I layered it over KBShimmer Lo and Be Bold. I topped these off in some KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

The next starry topper is Salon Perfect's Star Spangled. This fun topper is a blend of larger satin-matte stars in Red, White and Blue and small holo silver glitter suspended in a clear base. Once again I used the same method of application. This topper also was fairly easy to work with. I did no fishing for the stars, they actually came out with ease. Shown over Cult Nails Nevermore.

The final topper is Salon Perfect's Grand Finale. This topper is a blend of holo silver bars, metallic blue bars and metallic red bars. Once again I was surprised at the ease of application of this polish, Another nice thing is that the bars actually stay flat on the nail. I used the same application method for this topper. Shown over Cult Nails Tempest.

Have a fantastic evening, happy Friday and thanks for coming by!

Cult Nails It's a New Day Collection Look

(**Press Sample**)
Happy Thursday!!

It is a new day indeed. A very rainy new day :D... but I love in South Florida... I think I'd be worried if it WASN'T raining. The look I am sharing today is the opposite of what the weather feels like, I need that haha. For this look I went with ALLL the Cult Nails. Maria and Marta (of Chit Chat Nails) did such a wonderful job on this collection. The It's a New Day collection is definitely one of my all time favorite releases that Cult Nails has ever done.
On my ring and thumbnails I used Cult Nails Evolution. This shade is a light, peachy, crelly. I absolutely adore the squishiness of this color. I mean I just LOVE the color, period. Light peachy shades are my go-to, safe place, nail color. I wanted to have a sparkly accent so I topped off my peachy nails with some Cult Nails Walk of Shame.
For the gradient nails I started with a base of Cult Nails It's a New Day. This shade is the most perfect pastel, baby chick, yellow creme. The formula is squishy perfection. To create the gradients I used Cult Nails Falling Hard and It's a New Day. Falling Hard is a soft Barbie pink crelly with a great formula.
Since I have not stamped in ages... I decided to bust out some stamping gear... I used Bundle Monster plate BM- H09 and Cult Nails Radiance for the stamped details. I finished my nails off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I really love how these colors play together. They are a perfect complimentary trio and I can't imagine one without the others. Again I say, Maria and Marta did a wonderful job with this collaboration. These shades are still available from the Cult Nails website and retail for $12.00.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

#CFLBeautyBloggers go Purple for Lupus Awareness

(**Press Samples**)
Hi loves!!

This Friday some of the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida are linking up with some Purple themed posts. We decided on Purple for the month of May for Lupus Awareness. For my look I decided to got with some elegant v-gap moons in some of my favorite A England shades.

 photo DSCN0239_zpsa2890979.jpg
I started with a base of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple. This glitter is a sheer purple jelly base packed with tiny shifting glitters. The shift is mainly from purple, to pink to copper. I only did this to give some interest to the nakey part of the nails. The Keancolor glitter is mainly meant to be layered, but it still looked really pretty peeking under my holographic beauties. Then I added a coat of INM Northern Lights to aid in the dry time of the Keancolor glitter.
I used single chevron nail vinyls to create my v-gap look. On my Pinkie and Index nail I used A England Fonteyn. This is a marvelous shade of intense silver holographic. For my Purple shade I used A England Lady of the Lake, which is a beautiful, regal, shade of Purple with a subtle holographic effect. I accented my Ring nail with tiny light purple gemstones and sealed it all off with some Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat.

Thanks for coming by today and happy Friday!

#CFLBeautyBlogger Autism Awareness April Link Up

(**Press Sample**)
Good morning beauties!

We interrupt this scheduled LTHP vacay to go Blue. Today's post is a special link up between the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida. Since April is Autism Awareness month we decided to come together with some Blue- themed posts for our readers. If you guys are long time readers of this Blog you may be familiar with my Blue looks during the month of April. I was super busy this year and missed World Autism Awareness day, which was April 2nd :(.
 photo DSCN8662_zps797e65b8.jpg
I decided to work in Blue, Yellow and Red, inspired by the Autism Awareness puzzle piece logo. The Blue shade is KBShimmer Sky Jinks. This shade is a PERFECT shade of vivid Sky Blue creme. The formula on this color left me a little speechless. It was buttery smooth and very pigmented. The best part is that it did not stain my nails.
The yellow shade is KBShimmer Chick Me Out. This shade is a perfect primary Yellow creme. The formula was really very good. The first coat was a little streaky, but it evened out just fine. For the zig-zags  and chevrons I used Nail Vinyls. On my middle nail I did a dotted gradient using Cult Nails Tempest and Chick me Out. I also did a glitter placement gradient on my middle nail, as well as some glitter placement on my ring and index nails using a loose glitter pot from ??? :) lol.
For the glittery red zig- zags on my Pinkie I used a Red glitter striper from Stripe Rite. I finished my look off with two coats of Seche Vite.

Check out the posts from my fellow #CFLBeautyBlogger ladies below ♥.

Red on Red

Happy Thursday!

Today's post shall be quick and sweet. I've been feeling a bit "off" lately and feel like I really need to step away for a few days and relax, refresh and "reload". Since the move I have not really had a chance to "stop" for a minute and just breathe. Everything is coming along really nicely and we really like it here in Boca Raton. I just need a few days to unwind. Until then, please enjoy this Cult Nails, Red on Red look.
 photo DSCN7979_zps1d93c74f.jpg
This look started with a base of Two coats of Cult Nails Kiss. Once my base was nice and dry I added some freehand dots in Cult Nails Annalicious. I decided not to top coat the finalized look. I really liked the shimmer against the matte base.

When in doubt: DOTS!!! Always dots hahah :D. Happy Thursday!

Cult Nails Passionate Dreams LE Collection Swatches

(**Press Samples**)
Happy humpday!

Today's mid week treat brought to you by; MOAR Cult Nails :D. This sexy Foursome is the Passionate Dreams collection. These pretties were released around Valentines Day, back in February. For this release Maria did a Silver foil, Two sparkling pretties and a new Red wax finish. I am SOOO stoked on that Red wax, BTW.

All shades but Kiss are shown with a top coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

Cult Nails Ignite- This beauty is an amazing Black creme-jelly base packed full of micro Gold and Silver glitter. I am in love with this shade and the way the glitter peeks through perfectly through the opaque Black base. The formula is amazing on Ignite. I only needed Two coats for full opacity.

Cult Nails Angel Whispers- This shade is a dreamy, soft and ultra-shimmery Pink. This shade is extremely beautiful and feminine. I really love the shimmery finish. This pretty is not without its issues though. The formula on mine was insanely thick. I had to add a few drops of nail polish thinner to be able to work with it. Once I added the thinner I was able to apply thin enough coats to build it up evenly. I used Three coats for my swatch.

Cult Nails Lethal- This shade is just amazing. Lethal is a super dense Silver foil. In person, it is practically a chrome finish. The formula on this shade is absolutely perfect. I used Two coats for my swatch, though I could have done with One. This shade dries a bit matte and looks great either way. Lethal also makes a great polish for stamped nail art.

Cult Nails Kiss- This is the newest wax finish. It is Red, it is sexy as hell and it is waxy. Kiss is a perfect shade of rich candy apple Red. The formula on this shade is fantastic. I love it for days when I am in a rush because I can usually just do one coat, and it dries quickly. Basically for instant fab, just add a coat of Kiss. Shown are two easy coats of Kiss.

All of these shades are still available for purchase from Cult Nails as well as the Beautylish Boutiques. Each shade retails for $12.00.  I absolutely adore these. Even though I ran into that formula issue with Angel Whispers, I still adore that shade. My absolute faves here are definitely Ignite and Kiss.

Happy humpday loves!

Cult Nails Intriguing and Cruisin' Nude V- Gap Nail Art Look

(**press sample**)
Good morning!

Today I have a simple look for you guys :D. It seems lately my nail art has been going by the motto "less is more". You guys know how much I love crazy nail art looks. I love working on them and I love wearing them. But for some reason, I've really been into simplicity lately. The types of look that don't take much work or time to complete, yet still look effortlessly chic. I seem to go through phases ;).
cn int and cn look photo DSCN7937_zpsd455a4e3.jpg
This look started with a base of Cult Nails Intriguing of the Casual Elegance collection. To create the V-gaps I used the single- chevron Nail Vinyls and Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude. I really liked the contrast of the Nude tone against the beautiful shade of subtle holo Periwinkle. Intriguing is a bit of a chameleon and can look a bit different depending on skin tone. I love shades that have this quality. I finished my look off with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Cult Nails Casual Elegance- Nail Art Look

 (**Press Samples**)
Haiiiii!!!

Happy Friday!!! Today I want to share this chic nail art look I did with Cult Nails Casual Elegance, some Nail Vinyls and a Konad stamp. For this look in particular I was inspired by the name of the color itself. I wanted to do something eye-catching, but wearable and elegant.. without being boring ;).
I am a huge fan of clean geometric types of designs. I love the clean lines. I also love how more "simple" designs can be the most interesting some times. I'm still shaking off a bit of rust lolol.. I feel like these could have been cleaner, crisper... but I still love them!

For this simple look I started with a base of Cult Nails Casual Elegance. Once my base color was dry I accented my Index and Pinkie nail with a houndstooth pattern stamp from Konad plate M63. I used Konad Black special polish for my stamps. For the vertical zig-zags I used the standard chevron Nail Vinyls and Cult Nails Nevermore
To finish my nails off I did a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast. Then I decided I wanted these to be semi- glossy.. So I did a coat of Cult Nails Wax That... I love how them being slightly matte seems to make the colors pop even more.

I'm off to play with my brand new MacBook Pro. My husband came home last night with a new laptop for me and a bottle of wine.. Celebrations were had lolol :D. I also got my new PolyPro Hula Hoop in the mail today (I hoop dance, you can see short vids on my IG @L_T_H_P). It is shaping up to be a good weekend in the LTHP compound haha.

Happy Friday!

Cult Nails Casual Elegance & Nail Vinyls -Nail Art Look

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Thursday!

Today I want to share this look I did using shades from the Cult Nails Casual Elegance collection and Zig-Zag Nail Vinyls. Those of you who were lucky enough to score this trio on pre-sale will also be getting a sample of the nail vinyls I used to create this look. Funny enough, not long before I found out about this set shipping with Nail Vinyls samples, I had actually placed an order for some nail vinyls. I had never tried them and thought they were pretty neat.
For those who are not familiar with nail vinyls, they are pre cut "tape (vinyl)" strips in varying shapes and sizes used to create cool nail art effects. For my middle nail accent I used the regular sized chevron vinyls sample that came with my trio.

This look features Winter's Light(sparkling Purple), Casual Elegance(Lilac creme), Tempest(White creme), Nevermore(Black Creme) and Lethal(Metallic Silver). To create the middle nail accent I placed the chevron vinyls "back to back", instead of interlocked with each other, to create the diamond and zig-zag pattern. I "cleaned up" my seams using Inglot Pro Perfection glitter stripers in #52(Silver prism) and #95(Violet glitter). I finished my look off with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

I kinda like how these turned out a bit Easter-y. Easter- Glam... let's make it a thing... Anyhow, I am loooving Nail Vinyls! I ordered one of the multi packs and I can't wait to use them in all kinds of different ways.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cult Nails Casual Elegance Collection Swatches

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!!

Today I want to share my swatches of the newest Cult Nails Collection, Casual Elegance. I want to say a million words about this Trio. The colors are superb. The formulations, as usual, are perfection. This collection really hit a soft spot for me and my obsession with the color Purple. I think this collection hit a soft spot for many gals actually. So much so, that the pre-order  is completely sold out on the Cult Nails site, and with good reason. In this release there is a beautiful creme, a painfully sparkly micro glitter and a dreamy holographic shade. Could it be possible that such a small release is already going to the top of my list for 2014 releases? You bet your booty it is! But Purple is my spirit animal.. So I am biased ;).
CN Casual Elegance photo CultNails3_zps4d50c208.jpg
All swatches are shown with a top coat of Cult Nails Wicked fast for shine, smoothness and a full finished look.

Cult Nails Winter's Light- This beauty is made up of micro Amethyst Purple glitter suspended in a Red-toned Purple jelly base. The application of this glitter is very easy, the glitter spreads evenly and the base is not sticky. This shade can be layered or built up to full opacity. I chose to wear mine alone. I used Three thin and easy coats for my swatch. Winter's Light dries with a little bit of a gritty finish, a top coat will remedy that. I am so in love with the way the glitter in this polish twinkles perfectly to create a crushed Amethyst illusion. I also really like that the jelly base is a tad lighter than the glitters as it gives a slight jelly- sammich effect.

Cult Nails Casual Elegance- Lilac.Creme.Perfection. No seriously, this shade.. Ok, this shade.. I LOVE a good lilac creme... This one is as good as it gets. I love that Casual Elegance is a true, clean, Lilac creme. There are no undertones of Pink, and it does not lean too Blue. The formula is just amazing on this shade. I could have gotten away with one coat if I had applied it more patiently. Casual Elegance has a thick but very manageable formula. It is not thick, goopy or streaky. I used Two flawless coats for my swatch.

Cult Nails Intriguing- This baby is truly a gem. I could literally, sit here all day and type out a dissertation on how much I love this color and why. But I wont subject you guys to that ahah. SO, Intriguing is a magical shade of Periwinkle Blue with a dreamy linear holo effect. The holo is a subtle, but present. This shade is perfect for when you are feeling dainty, but want a hint of something special. Intriguing has an amazing formula that glides on like butter and is opaque in Two easy coats. Of course the day I chose to swatch these, it was also raining very heavily... I hope to get Sunlight PIc of this beauty soon. I think it deserves that courtesy haha.
The pre-order may be done but be on the lookout for the individual release of these shades. Don't worry, you have not missed out just yet :D. And trust me, you don't want to miss out! I have always been a fan of Cult Nails' aesthetic and vibe, but they really hit it out of the park with these Three shades. I need more micro glitters from Cult Nails.. Maria if you are reading... How about a kick ass Emerald next haha?

Make sure to follow Cult Nails on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates on this collection, promos and more!

#NailArtFeb Californails Challenge Day 20: Floral

(**Press Samples**)
Hi hello and happy Thursday!

Today I want to share my look for Day 20 of the Californails "Totally Doable- I have a Life Challenge". The prompt for today is "floral". I really wanted to try my hand at a free hand floral look. I've never tried one, you guys know of my fear of freehand nail art.
That said, I had completely fallen in love with [THIS] look by Katy of Nailed It. Her tutorial is fab and easy to follow. I am not afraid to admit that this was my FOURTH attempt at this look. I am actually super happy with how these turned out. They are nowhere near as pretty as Katy's though. Still, they are definitely a good step forward toward overcoming my "fear" of freehand nail looks.
 photo DSCN6997_zps9c05f5d4.jpg
I used shades from the O.P.I Brazil collection. My base is Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. I really loved the contrast of vivid flowers against the muted base in Katy's tutorial, so I went for a similar vibe. For the flowers I used O.P.I Kiss me I'm Brazilian (Pink), and Toucan Do it if You Try (Coral). For the leaves I used Milani Showy Sea Green. The Black accents were done with Cult Nails Nevermore. I finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I'm really happy about how these turned out. I can't believe it took me four tries, this look really is very simple and easy to do. I was having a hard time with creating the "petals". I think I will be trying this look again soon. I really love this type of floral.
Californails Feb Challenge photo Screenshot2014-02-01at115556AM_zps2db93afc.png
I'm excited for the Animal Theme prompt. I think I want to revisit one of my older looks :D. Thanks for coming by today!

Cult Nails- Road Trip Anyone? Collection Layerings

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Friday!

And just like that.. January is over! Today I want to share a few Cult Nails manis I wore last week. Both looks were done by layering shades from the Road Trip, Anyone? collection. If memory serves me right, this collection was released later in the Summer of 2013. They were limited edition. Looks like the only ones still on the Cult Nails site are All Out and Mayhem. However, Beautylish still has all these shades available through their shop.

Cult Nails All Out- For this mani I decided to layer All Out over Be Loco. All Out is a beautiful micro shimmer topper. Over my Coral base it created a Sun kissed shade of Tangerine Orange. What I love about All Out is that it will transform any color into new, beautiful unexpected shades. Over lighter colors it looks beautifully Golden-Yellow, over Medium shades it can turn into a cool shade of shifting Lime Green and over darker shades it can go to this amazing shifting shade of Emerald Green. If you were a fan of Charlatan from the Deceptive Collection, you will love All Out. I used one coat over my base color.
CN All Out photo DSCN4935_zpsd4503b36.jpg

Cult Nails Be Loco- This shade is many of my favorite things meshed into one polish. Be Loco is a perfect shade of true Coral with the most amazingly creamy formulation. This shade could have nearly been one coat. And yet, the formula was not thick or sticky or streaky... it was buttery smooth- perfection. This color is insanely flattering. I used Two easy coats for my mani.
CN Be Loco photo DSCN4922_zpsfffa1038.jpg

Cult Nails Mayhem- This baby is a subtle Silver linear holographic topper. What I love most about Mayhem is that it adds beautiful holographic sparkle, that is very noticeable, without making the base color look muddy or cloudy. I've tried several toppers and I don't like how much they can cloud the base color. With Mayhem you get that beautiful effect, and you still get to see the base color clearly Just with the added beauty of Holographic shimmer. For this mani I layered Mayhem over Riot. I really loved this combination. Oh, and the Three- finger pic is not a new thing or anything. I dinged my Index nail as I was taking photos and I was so ready to be done this day that I just fixed it after I took photographs haha. I used one coat of Mayhem over Riot.
CN Mayhem photo DSCN5437_zpsbf21fac4.jpg

Cult Nails Riot- This shade is a spectacular shade of clean Aqua- Teal. It is a bit lighter than teal, and a bit more Green than Aqua. Riot has an amaaazing formula as well. This shade could have also been one coat, I did use two though. I love this color to bits. It is summery, pool party perfection. The one downside is that this color can stain pretty badly.
CN Riot photo DSCN5412_zps13bedcae.jpg
I wore both of these manis for about a week or so, no chips and very minor tip wear. The wear of Cult Nails polishes is always so impressive. If you are really digging these shades, they can still be found on the Beautylish Boutique and retail for $12.00/bottle.

Happy Friday everyone!

Cult Nails Party Time French Tip Nail Art Look

(**Press Sample**)
Hello and happy Friday!

Today's look is something I've never done for the blog before.. A (somewhat) traditional French tip mani. I've done many a funky Frenches, but never one with my natural nail color showing through. I'm not sure what came over me, but I just had to do a French tip mani with Party Time by Cult Nails.
Party Time French photo DSCN5072_zps8791283d.jpg
Over my naked nails I did a base coat and then a coat of INM Northern Lights for the pretty sparkles. I didn't have to wait long to work on my French tips since my "base" was actually just a base coat and top coat. To get nice crisp French tips I used hole reinforcers. Like the kind I use for my half-moon manis, just placed at the tip of the nail to achieve a French tip.
The Blue shade I used is Cult Nails Party Time. This color is a beautiful, lively shade of Cerulean creme. Party Time can and will stain if not worn without proper base coat. I could care less though, it is just such an amazing color, with an impressive formula.
To add some super girly accents to my classic tips I added some cute little bow stamps from Pueen plate Pueen12, and Konad White special polish. I finished it all off by adding a top coat of KBShimmer Clearly on top and setting small light Blue stones into the centers of my bows.

Not even gonna lie.. I LOVE THIS!!!!! I also cannot believe it took me 3+ years of blogging to do a (fairly) classic French tip mani. I can definitely say this will not be my last French look.

Happy weekend my loves!

Nicole by O.P.I Carrie Underwood Collection- Sing you Like a Bee & Backstage Pass- Elegant Half Moon Nail Art Look

(**Press Sample**)
Good morning and happy Tuesday!

I am so in love with today's look.. I think I will let the photos do the talking for me :D. Anything more seems like rambling.

This simple, yet classy look started with a base of Nicole by OPI Sing you Like a Bee from the Carrie Underwood collection. Once my base color was dry I did half-moon details on my thumb, ring and pinkie nails using Backstage Pass. Backstage Pass  is a beautiful shade of deep Oxblood with sultry shimmer. To accent my half moons and "blank" nails I used Copper stones from Cult Nails set into my wet top coat (Seche Vite). The stones brought this look to life for me.

Sing you Like a Bee is a stunning shade of dense White shimmer with a strong Golden duochrome. This shade is just beautiful. I used Three easy coats to build the shade up to opacity. That said, this color can also be layered. I'm not sure if this shade is meant to be a texture... But if left without top coat, it dries a bit gritty and cool looking. I did top coat it for my look though. This is one of my favorite shades in this entire collection.
