Delush Polish Spring Awakening Collection Swatches

(**Press Samples**)
Hey it's Monday!!!

If there was a way for me to skip Mondays all together, I would do so. I despise Mondays.I don't really have an exceedingly good reason for my hatred. It is not like I go out drinking every weekend and end up with wicked hangovers to fight off on Monday. Maybe Mondays just have bad cosmic juju around them or something... And now I sound crazy... Point being I am a complete crab-ass today :S.
Know what I am not crabby about though? This beautiful Spring collection by Delush Polish. For this release Delush did Six new glittery crellys that perfectly capture the season for me. This is one of those collections where I just adore every shade. They are all so dreamy and playful. They all look like little bottled Easter eggs.

All swatches are shown with a top coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Delush Polish Fleur de Peche- This beauty is a light peachy, creme-jelly base, with a perfect amount of subtle sparkle. I am IN LOVE with the accenting glitter blend she used for this base. I can pick out red and raspberry hexes, as well as gold and varying tones of green. I love that this polish looks so "floral". I also adore the base tone as it is insanely flattering. I used Two easy coats for my swatch.

Delush Polish Basket Case- This shade is a clean White crelly base accented with tons of matte and neon glitter in smaller hexes and squares. This shade is so much fun and just awesome. The glitter colors and sizes look like a sprinkling of confetti. I used Two easy coats, though looking at this photo, I probably should have done a thin third coat.

Delush Polish Medusa's Verde- This beauty is a light seafoam green base with a perfect amount of pearlescent shimmer. Accenting this base is a blend of golden, green and copper glitters in varying shapes and sizes. I used two easy coats for my swatch.

Delush Polish I wanna Dance with some Bunny- Adorable... :D. This shade is a marshmallowy white crelly base. This one is packed with all kinds of interesting goodies. There are neon Pink hearts, large Aqua dots and large pastel yellow hexes. There are also smaller blue and pink hexes and teeny tiny yellow and pink matter glitters also. I used Two easy coats for my swatch.

Delush Polish Destined for Grapeness- I can't ever get enough of these lilac crelly blends. This one features a light shimmery base accented by violet, white, blue, lavender, pink and silver glitters in varying hex sizes. I used Two easy coats for my swatch,

All of these shades have amazing formulas. I was so happy that I could get away with just two coats of each shade. They all have a fantastic spread of glitter and were very easy to work with. I love that Delush did a mix of shimmery and creme bases for this collection. I am a huge fan of shimmering crelly bases, they look so delicate and beautiful.

I am loving this entire collection. If I had to choose faves I'd go with Wanna Dance with some Bunny, Fleur de Peche and Medusa's Verde :D. Which are you loving most?

Delush Polish XO Trio Collection

(**Press Sample**)
Hi hello and happy Thursday!

Today I want to share my swatches of Delush Polish's newest releases. This is the XO Collection. This release is made of Three new shades just in times for Valentines :D. Two of these pretties are crelly- based glitters and one is a soft smooth shimmer. They are really cute and fun. All swatches are shown with a top coat for smoothness and shine.

Delush Polish Love Me Lights Out- This pretty is a white crelly base. The crelly base is a tad opaque so if you don't keep a light hand you might find that the first layers of glitter are being covered up too much. This polish has a blend of Purple, Gold, Green, Lilac glitters in varying shapes and sizes, as well as neon Pink stars suspended in the White base base. I used Three coats for my swatch. While the polish is easy to work with, I did have some issues getting the larger Purple discs to come out. I really do love this though. It reminds me of little wildflowers.

Delush Polish Je Ne Se Quoi- This delicate beauty is a very light Pink crelly base. Packed in this soft Pink base are Rose Pink glitters in varying shapes and sizes, as well as soft mint Green and satin White glitters. The soft Mint touches added an unexpected element to this color that I really like. I used Three thin coats for my swatch. As with LMLO, it is best to keep a light hand to get the most out of the glitter spread. This shade also has a floral feel to me, very romantic.

Delush Polish Make Me Blush- This shade is a soft tone of Ballerina Pink with a subtle Golden shimmer running through it. This shade reminds me of little Pink pearls. The formula is a bit streaky and sticky, a light patient hand is best. I used Three thin-ish coats for my swatch, the third coat made all the difference. I really dig this shade, very feminine and sweet.

Delush Polishes feature a flat brush, which is always awesome. I also love that they have a matte Black cap that doesn't get all finger print-y (ahhhh the little things). Also, while I tend to hate Gold accents in my cosmetics packaging, I was surprised by how much I love the clean Golden graphic on Delush's bottles. Delush Polish is ran by the lovely Adriana. With each order you also get a cute scratcher card. You could get discounts on future orders or even getting to name your own shade! I got a 10% off discount on my future purchase. I think this is a really cool concept.
The XO Collection trio is available from Delush Polish now. You can get the trio for $25.00.

I like this trio, the shades compliment each other really well. I really like Make me Blush and Je Ne Se Quoi. They are very romantic shades.
