How I Wore It: Cirque Back to Basics Collection

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Wednesday beauties! Today's look goes back to basics. Who doesn't love a classic palette of Black and White? Long time LTHP readers know how much I adore working with these simple colors. Cirque Nail Lacquer recently released new B&W creme shades in her Back to Basics collection. I was very excited to see Cirque venture into making cremes; and even more excited to see she started out with a black and a white creme. More after the jump.

Zoya Summer 2014 Magical Pixies

(**Press Samples**)
The sparkles! OMG The sparkles! Ok, I will just come right out and say that when I first saw the Summer Magical Pixies from Zoya for 2014 I was a bit underwhelmed. I can't tell you exactly what was putting me off from wearing them. Maybe I thought the shades were a bit boring? And, in the bottle they were not doing much for me.... But then, this past weekend I was feeling sorta lazy and I wanted to wear something "easy" and that would wear for a good while. If anything, I at least knew that these would wear fantastically and they would sparkle. So, I "bit the bullet" and thought to myself.... "what the hell, I'll give these a shot.".

Oh my GLOB! What a beautiful surprise these turned out to be on my nails. Looking back, I'm not sure at all why I thought I would not enjoy these. I will admit though, they are a million times more spectacular on the nail (and fully dry) than in the bottle.

Zoya Arlo- On myself, Arlo wears like a beautiful shade of raspberry. Of course as we have come to expect with the Magical Pixies, this beauty is packed to the brim with chunky holo hex glitter in varying sizes.
Zoya Bar- On myself, Bar wears like a warm, sandy gold. I really was not sure what to expect with Bar, because golden tones can be hard for me to wear. I was happy to see that she is a bit of a shape shifter thanks to the jelly-like base.
Zoya Ginni- On myself, Ginni wears like a soft coral toned pink. She was a bit more sheer than her two companions, beautiful non the less.
The reason why I kept mentioning how these wore on me specifically is because I've noticed that these can look a bit different from person to person. They seem to adjust to anyone's skin tone. I think that is because the "base color" for these is not as densely pigmented or packed with micro sparkle as the Spring Magical Pixies. They are sort of "jelly" like in application so the fully dry effect is almost like a matte jelly sammich.

I used Three coats of each color and dry time was decent. I'd say within a good 30 they were dry enough to carry on with my day. My final thoughts on these is that they are beautiful, effortless and I regret not wearing them sooner. Never again will I underestimate a Magical Pixie, lesson learned.

Did you try out any of these Three Summer beauties? What are your thoughts on them?

How I Wore It: KBShimmer Goldie Rocks & Let's not Coral

(**Press Samples**)
Are you sure it's Tuesday?!

Because I am lagging like it is a Monday, and I do not appreciate that :-S. As a friend of mine told me on Facebook; "when Tuesday feels like Monday it's a Netflix in bed kind of day". Trust me, I fully plan to heed her advice before I spontaneously combust. But first! Lemme show you some nails!

This Summery look features some of the beautiful new shades from the KBShimmer Early Summer 2014 collection. I started with a base of KBShimmer Let's not Coral. This shade is a perfect pink-toned Coral. I absolutely adore that it is pink-tones as most of my corals tend to lean to orange. I used two easy and perfect coats of this shade.
Once my base color was dry I used the half-moon nail vinyls to tape off my moons. To make my nails pop I went with KBShimmer Goldie Rocks. This pretty is a magical shade of bright Gold, and extremely linear holo. Photos could never do this shade justice as it is just so amazing and multi- dimensional in person.
I topped my nails of with a coat of KBShimmer clearly on top to smooth out the "seam" of my moons. I adore this color combination. There is something classic, yet playful and trendy about these and I love it!

I'm gonna go on the prowl for chocolate and wine now... That should make today better, right? XOXO

Zoya Awaken and Monet Swatches

(**Press Sample**)
Hey guys!

So, I figured... since I have the Zoya Tickled and Bubbly Summer collections in hand.... that maybe, just maybe... Now is a good time to post my Awaken & Monet Spring collection swatches. Can you say "slacker"?

 photo 20140429-192244_zps7d2021e1.jpg

Zoya Dot- Dot is a classic ballerina pink creme-jelly. Even though it is really sqishy in finish, the formula was fairly opaque and easy to work with. I used Three thin coats for my swatch.
 photo DSCN9309_zps9e82f749.jpg

Zoya Cole- Cole is my favorite shade in this entire collection. She is a beautiful shade of perfect peachy creme-jelly. The formula on this color is amazing as well. I used Two thin and easy coats to for my swatch. Shades like this can be so universally flattering. I love how tan they make me look.
 photo DSCN9376_zps4d676644.jpg

Zoya Rebel- Rebel is a soft sky blue with a subtle micro shimmer running through it. The shimmer gives a really pretty silvery/ golden, almost duochrome, effect. The formula on this color seems a bit sheer at first but is perfect in Two coats.
 photo DSCN9471_zps2d755da5.jpg

Zoya Dillon- Dillon is the seafoam sister of Rebel. The shimmer in Dillon appears more Silvery than Golden. I used Two thin coats.
 photo DSCN9502_zpsc61ed4c5.jpg

Zoya Hudson- Husdon is the Orchid sister to Rebel and Dillon. The shimmer in this pretty appears more Golden. I used Two thin coats.
 photo DSCN9557_zpscaec0af9.jpg

Zoya Brooklyn- Brooklyn is a frosty "White Gold" shade. Brooklyn is a little brush strokey. I used Two coats for my swatch.
 photo DSCN9610_zpsab2cfdfb.jpg

Zoya Monet over Dot- Monet is a glitter topper. This polish is made up of iridescent hex glitters suspended in a, barely-there, pink jelly base. I had to add a boisterous amount of thinner to get this polish to work. As I received it, it was unusable. The formula was insanely thick and the glitter spread non existent. Once I added the thinner I was able to work with it, but it still gave me some troubles. IDK, I want to love it. t is really ethereal and looks so pretty in the bottle.... the formula leaves much to be desired.
 photo DSCN9365_zpsec2a7325.jpg

Overall, I am a bit disappointed in this collection. I'm not sure what, but something is missing for me. While the colors are really pretty, they don't feel special to me. I am SUPER disappointed in Brooklyn. A golden frost? Really?... And while I appreciate Zoya's effort with Monet, the execution of the topper fell flat for me. That formula is like glitter glue.
Strangely enough the shades I like best are the Two cremes, Dot and Cole.  Especially Cole... They are effortless and flattering. I almost wish they had released all the other shades as creme-jellies a'la Cole and Dot, I think that would have been a more interesting collection.

Thankfully, I am stoked on the new Summer shades. I really think they redeemed themselves with the Summer colors. I hope I love them on the nail as much as I do in the bottles. How did you guys like the Awaken collection? Any faves here?

O.P.I L.A.M.B & Hey Baby Ruffian Nail Art

(**Press Samples**)
Good morning beauties!

Pink & Gold.... Can't really go wrong with those two together, right? Ahhh blogger's block, how I loathe you lol... This might be a post about how I am stuck trying to come up with something witty to say today :D. This is the "darker side" of blogging... You know, that moment when you are sitting there with a blank screen and nothing but a picture? Yeah, that is me today haha. I'll admit it, the muses forget me sometimes, and I am left speechless... Not because of beauty, but because I literally have nothing remarkable to say. Which then makes me feel like a slacker, which then makes me not post at all....
But then I thought, why hide the fact that somedays aren't as productive as others? I know I'm not the only one who struggles with blogger's block. We all go through it, probably more often than we would like to admit. So here is my confession: I'm fairly blocked today, the words keep escaping me and I have nothing special to say.... But I did want to share this look that has been sitting in my drafts for a while :D...
 photo DSCN6440_zpsd037b8a6.jpg
This look started with a base of O.P.I L.A.M.B. I am so madly in love with that shade of satin matte Gold. I went for a contrasting ruffian using O.P.I Hey Baby. I decided not to top coat my final look because I wanted to keep a slight contrast between the glossy Pink and the matte Gold. Looking at pics now, I kinda wish I had top coated the finalized version. I've yet to see L.A.M.B all glossed up :(. Regardless, I still really dig this look.

Thanks for coming by today. And on a more random note; thank you all for your support and feedback, even on days when I get stuck! You guys rock my worldview!

O.P.I Gwen Stefani Collection Swatches

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!!

Today I want to share my swatches of the O.P.I Gwen Stefani collection. I won't even lie. I was SOOOO excited to find out that O.P.I would be doing a collaboration with Gwen Stefani. She is such a music and fashion icon. But what I love best is that Gwen is one of the original "nail girls". I remember watching No Doubt music videos and always admiring her long vampy nails, Pink hair and fantastic Red lips. This collection is such a beautiful representation of Gwen's style.

O.P.I Gwen Stefani Edgy Half Moon Nail Art Look

(**Press Sample**)
Good afternoon beautiful people!

Today I have an edgy half-moon nail art look featuring some of the new shades from O.P.I's Gwen Stefani collection. Half- moon nails are some of my favorite looks to combine finishes and edgy shades together. For this look I went with a Satin matte on gloss theme, mixing vampy and flashy, for an eye catching manicure.
Stefani Moons photo DSCN5580_zps06883cec.jpg
I started with Two easy coats of O.P.I I Sing in Color. Once my base color and top coat were dry I proceeded to tape off my moons using hole reinforcers. The beautiful satin matte shade of Gold is Love.Angel.Music.Baby. Since the color is so opaque it was perfect for this technique. I cleaned up the seam of my moons using a bit of Gold glitter striping polish. I did not top coat over the moons to avoid altering the matte against shiny look.
The little Black stones and Gold stud bar are from the O.P.I Over and Over A-Gwen set. I used a toothpick to dab a bit of nail glue where I wanted the stud and also placed a teeny drop on the back of the studs and stones. The toothpick method made it easy to get the glue on precise spots and avoid making a mess. I wore this look for about Four days and didn't lose any stones or experience any chips.

I will be posting my swatches of the O.P.I Gwen Stefani collection very soon :D. I was definitely a "child of No Doubt". I grew up with Gwen's music so I immediately knew I'd have some kind of connection to these colors. I always remember loving Gwen's iconic Pink hair, long vampy nails and kick ass Red lippie. I'm was beyond excited to see Gwen collabing with such a fashion and music icon.

Who doesn't love a little  No Doubt!?

Cult Nails All Access/ Fall 2013 Collection- Nail Art Look

(**Press Samples**)
Hello and good morning!

(*EDIT*): I feel like I have to mention this. Cult Nails has NO association with CULT Cosmetics. They are two different companies. Cult Nails has been around since about 2010 if memory serves me right. This Cult Cosmetics has only been around a few months but they have practically committed identity theft. Even going as far as pitching to bloggers using the Cult Nails tagline "join the cult". I don't even know what to say about it other than I think it is a rotten thing this new company is doing.
I admire originality, people who work hard and know their industry... So the fact that they appear to not have done any research before launching their brand, using someone else's "identity" in a sense.. leads me to believe that the people behind Cult Cosmetics are just looking to make a quick buck of the "nail trend" and are not actually into it because they want to be innovative. Read Maria's thoughts on the situation [HERE].

Today I want to share this look I did using all Five shades in Cult Nails' All Access Collection. This collection was released back in 2013 for Fall-ish. The collection has a 90's grungy feel, and that pleases my inner 13 year old in the best way possible. In this collection Maria did Three new cremes and two shard- glitters. I really wanted to bring them together in a flashy look and this is what I ended up with. Such lush! Much sparkle!
Cult Nails All Access Collection Nail Art Look photo DSCN4699_zps4b708aa6.jpg
As I mentioned above, this look uses all Five shades in the All Access Collection. The only color I did not do nail art over was Cult Nails Disillusion. Disillusion (on my Ring finger and Thumb) is a Black jelly base packed with Magenta shard glitter. The formula on this shade was a bit tricky. It was a bit thick and needed slight manipulation. I built it up to opacity by using Three coats. I think this shade is best layered. On my Index finger I used Cult Nails Lamestain as my base. This shade is deep, vampy burgundy creme-jelly perfection. As an accent I used a cosmetic sponge to do a gradient using Cult Nails Feedback which is a beautiful blend of Golden/Iridescent shard glitters in a clear base.
On my Middle nail I used Cult Nails Wackslacks as my base. For the peacock feather design over my Middle nail I used Pueen stamping plate Pueen09 and China Glaze Passion. On my Pinkie nail I started with a base of Cult Nails Grunge. This shade is easily my fave in this collection. Grunge is a beautiful shade of muted moss green with the signature Cult Nails smokiness. I accented my Pinkie by doing a reverse dot gradient using Wackslacks. To finish off I did a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat.

It goes without saying that the cremes in this collection are flawless. Wackslacks could have practically been one coat, I did two out of OCD. Lamestain glides on like butter and is perfect in Two coats. Grunge is also a dream as it is opaque like a creme but applies like the best crelly you've ever tried. The glitters are not hard to work with, they just require a bit more patience as they are SO packed with glitters.
Cult Nails All Access Collection photo DSCN4666_zps929becfe.jpg

I wore this look for about Five days. When the time came to change my nail color, these were still holding on for dear life. I will never cease to be amazed by the wear of Cult Nails nail polishes. The Cult Nails All Access shades are still available from the Cult Nails site as well as Beautylish. They retail for $12.00.

You can follow Cult Nails on [FACEBOOK] [TWITTER] [INSTAGRAM] [PINTEREST]. I am VEEERY excited to see their upcoming collection, Passionate Dreams. This collection is already available for pre-order through Cult Nails

Zoya Brigitte- Stamped Nail Art Look

(**Zoya Press Sample**)
Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Today's look is something dainty, feminine and totally not me haha. There is really not much to say about this manicure. I wanted to do something with a vintage and delicate feel. I went with one of my Zoya Naturel collection shades. I chose Brigitte,  she was one of my favorites in the collection.
Zoya Brigitte Look photo DSCN3648_zps6328f727.jpg
For this look I started with a base of Zoya Brigitte. I went with a floral and lacey stamp from one of my Pueen stamping plates. This design is from the Love Elements plate set, Pueen47. For my stamping color I went with China Glaze Passion. I topped my nails off with some Seche Vite to protect my stamp and the did a final coat of Twee & Honey This is Mate-ness matte top coat to give the Golden stamp more presence. Somehow making the metallic Gold matte made it jump out even more.

For my review of the Zoya Naturel collection visit [THIS LINK]. I purchased my Pueen stamping plates on amazon.com

Nicole by O.P.I Carrie Underwood Collection Ruffian Nail Art- Featuring Fisher Queen & Get Carrie'd Away

(**Press Samples**)
Good morning and happy Thursday!

Today I have a quick and simple nail art look featuring some of the new Carrie Underwood collection shades from Nicole by O.P.I. I love the simple elegance of ruffian manicures. I knew immediately that I wanted to do a ruffian with these two shades. There is something about Gold and Purple together that looks so opulent and classic, it just felt right.
Ruffian look with Get Carrie'd Away and Fisher Queen photo DSCN4358_zps62e34f4d.jpg
This look started with a base of Get Carrie'd Away. I used Three thin coats of this color to have a nice, sparkling base. For the Purple ruffian portion I used Fisher Queen. This shade is a beautiful deep Amethyst Purple shimmer. Ruffians are very easy and quick to achieve. I freehanded my ruffian with the nail color brush. To finish the look I top coated with Seche Vite.

Nicole by O.P.I Get Carrie'd Away
This color though! Get Carrie'd Away is a spectacular mix of bright Yellow- Gold and White Gold sparkling glitter/flecks. The particles are small, but SO reflective. The formula on this shade is nice and easy to work with. This shade could be layered or built up to opacity. I used Three thin coats for my base. This shade dries a with a slight texture, which looks pretty neat. I did use a top coat for my look though, as I wanted sparkle.
Get Carrie'd Away photo DSCN4339_zpsb7121767.jpg
The Carrie Underwood Collection from Nicole by O.P.I should be popping up in retailers now, and retail for $7.99. I am very impressed with this collection. I was also very inspired by these colors and decided to do nail art looks with them instead of swatches. I can't say I am a Carrie fan. I only kept up with her during American Idol. But, I absolutely adore what they have done with this collection. The colors are adorable and cover a wide range of tastes. I was not expecting to love them as much as I do. This may be one of my favorite NO.P.I collabs to date.

Have you spotted any Carrie colors? Which sang to you (no pun intended)?

#31DC2013 Day 8: Metallic Nails- Gilded in A England

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Tuesday!!

Today I have day Eight of the #31DC2013. The prompt for day Eight is Metallic nails. I wanted to do something very ornate and "gilded". I went for a cling-wrapped marble using Two gorgeous shades by the fantastic A England.
 photo DSCN0498_zps1f25565f.jpg
For my metallic nails I started with a base of A England Lady of Shalott. This shade is a stunning shade of Blackened Sapphire Blue shimmer. Once my base was relatively dry I painted over it with A England Excalibur (version 2.0) and then used crumpled up cling wrap to create the marbled effect. I finished the look off with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to bring out shine and smooth the surface.

Tomorrow is one of my favorite days in the challenge; Rainbow Nails! I hope I can come up with something fun and awesome. I hope you guys enjoyed this simple look. I ended up really liking the tarnished Gold look of these. Bonus: they are SO easy to do :D!

Thanks for stopping by my beauties!

Pretty & Polished Fall 2013 Collection Swatches- Fall in Love with P&P

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!

Today I have another AMAZING collection from another of my favorite indie brands, Pretty and Polished. This collection is themed around the concept of "Fall-ing in love", in the Fall. Get it, get it? I think it is freaking adorable!! The theme of the collection is very evident in the names of the colors, which are so cute and punny. This is a really fun take on Fall, and I love the variety of colors and textures. Chels did an awesome job on these!!

O.P.I Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection Pairings

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Friday!!

Though I've never really been a fan of the Bond movies, I must say OPI has made some stunning polishes inspired by the franchise. Last year's Skyfall Holiday collection was full of WIN. So many of those shades are really stunning. This year O.P.I came out with a Six piece Liquid Sand collection inspired by the iconic Bond Girls.
I rocked the daylights out of these and loved every second of it. The colors and finishes of these are really interesting and beautiful. There is a great mix of classic, flashy and subtle in this group of colors. Overall, I am a huge fan of this collection.
OPI Bond Girls Pairings photo Texture_zpsc7c2a9f7.jpg
I went for pairings because most of these were actual manis that I wore for many days. The wear on all of these liquid sands is just ridiculously amazing. These do no chip, they do not fade and they wear like iron.
I don't want to sound like a broken record so I will get this out of the way now lol... The formula on all of these is AMAZING. They apply with much ease, I used Three thin coats for all these liquid sands. They were all good to go within 45 minutes. I don't know what sorcery is in these, but as they dry tge sparkle becomes more and more intense! I will never top coat these, they are just perfect in their beautiful matte form!
O.P.I Jinx and Solitaire
OPI Jinx and Solitaire photo DSCN7850_zpsc80f687e.jpg
Jinx is a beautiful, fiery shade of vivid Coral with a strong Golden duochrome. It reminds me of one of last years Fall DS shades, but in liquid sand form. I literally could not stop staring at this color once it was fully dry. It is just amazing. Solitaire is a really pretty Silvery-White base with little chunky Silver glitter accents. As it first applies it looks like an ugly frosty mess, and then it starts to dry... and it becomes the most interesting shade of shimmering textured White matte. I adore the complete transformation of this color as it dries. It is really chic and different from every other texture out there.

O.P.I Tiffany Case and Pussy Galore
OPI Tiffany Case and Pussy Galore photo DSCN6377_zps32616c07.jpg
I took this photo Two days after application o.O!!
These Two shades have my full attention hee hee. Tiffany Case is probably my most favorite liquid sand ever. She is GLORIOUS! This shade is a heavy dose of matte cerulean Blue sparkle accented by small light Blue sparkling hexes. Tiffany Case is painfully sparkly and just magical in Sunlight. Pussy Galore is a playful matte sparkling Pink. It was very much like Solitaire, in that it looks frosty and ugly as it applies. As it dries the base becomes this beautiful sparkly Pink accented by micro, barely there, Magenta sparkle. It almost reminds me of a textured version of Suzi and the Lifeguard. I loved wearing these Two together as they reminded me of yummy cotton candy.

O.P.I Vesper and Honey Ryder
I've actually already gone over these two beauties ont he blog before. You can check out the original post for Vesper and Honey Ryder [HERE]. Honey Ryder has a very special place in my collection. She is just BEAUTIFUL!

My faves in this group are Tiffany Case, Honey Ryder and Jinx. Though I really do adore all of them and I love that there is a bit of everything in terms of color. They gave us delicate, vampy and flashy all in one collection.

Did you pick up any Bond girls? Which are your faves?

Monday Mani Spam

(**Press Samples**)
Good evening my darlings!!

Today I have some random mani-spam for you guys. I also have a teeny bit of "news" today. If you follow LTHP on Facebook, you may have already seen this update, but I wanted to post it on the blog too.
Muffin's passing was a very hard, sad and almost traumatic experience for me, she was such a big part of our home, and this blog. I was heartbroken to have to bring "Muffin Mondays" to a close in such a sad manner. But that said, I knew that I had to keep the tradition of polish-picking kitties going on the blog. SO, starting tomorrow a new weekly feature will begin with Truffle picking up where Miss Muffin left off. Every week, on Tuesdays, Little Truffle will be picking me a polish to work with. Truffle Tuesdays are a-comin'! After all... my blog tag line does promise Nails, makeup and CATS!!!

O.P.I Bond Girls Liquid Sands in Vesper and Honey Ryder

(**Press Sample**)
Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I have Two of O.P.I's new Bond Girls- Liquid Sand shades. When O.P.I released their first set of Liquid Sand polishes (The Mariah Carey Collection), I was fairly underwhelmed with the colors and the finish. Then they came out with What Wizardy is This? For the Oz Collection, that one did not sing to me much either... Now enter the Bond Girls!!! THIS!! This is what I am talking about! For my first manicure I went with a pairing of Vesper and Honey Ryder that I could not stop staring at, or gushing about.
These color are rich and beautiful. I was not expecting to love Vesper as much as I do. Vesper is a deep Plummy base packed full of Black glitter, and of course that wonderful texture. Vesper does best in Three thin coats. It is also ideal to wait a bit between coats. When Vesper is fully dry (picture above is Two days after initial application) it reminds me of uncut, raw Amethyst stones.
Honey Ryder is a dream come true for me. Since all of these textures started coming out I had been hoping for a Golden foil one and Honey Ryder really hit the spot! This baby is a Warm, true Gold matte foil texture and there are also tons of Gold glitter encrusted into the color. When fully dry Honey Ryder reminds me of those "Fool's Gold" stones. It is just AMAZING.

The picture below is about 45 minutes after application. As you can see there is still a bit of shine to the surface, however, my nails were fairly dry and I could function at this point. As they continued to dry, more and more texture showed up. The texture on these is not severe at all. I had no snags, no chips and no tip wear.
After trying these Two beauties, I cannot wait to try out the rest of the Bond Girls. I LOVELOVELOVE what they did with this collection! I also love the names of the colors and how each shade really does embody a Bond Girl. There is no way I won't feel sexy wearing these ;)!

Have you tried any Bond Girls yet? Which was your favorite?

Muffin Monday! O.P.I Eurso Euro- Mixed Texture Nail Art

(**O.P.I Products provided for review consideration.**)

Hello and happy Muffin Monday!

Look at me getting a Muffin Monday out on time!!! I won't even blab much and get straight to it! This week Muffin picked me a most amazing shade of vivid Cobalt Blue by O.P.I called Eurso Euro. This shade is from the Euro Centrale collection. I wanted to keep the look simple, but interesting. So I did a mixed texture look featuring some of O.P.I's Liquid Sand shades as well as Muffin's pretty pick.
For this look I started with a base of Three coats of Eurso Euro and Oy Another Polish Joke(Golden shade) by O.P.I. I LOOOVE these Two shades together. I've had a soft spot for Blue and Gold since they were my High School colors. Plus, there is something so regal about the combination. Anywho, I did my base colors and top coated them with some Seche and waited to make sure they were dry enough to move forward with the Half-moon details. For the half moons I used Get your Number and What Wizardry is This? liquid sands. I waited a good 45 minutes before photographing this look to make sure the texture polish had dried enough for there to be a good contrast between the shiny bases and the textured sand polishes.

Look at Muffin go!

And because I also loved these polishes on their own... Here are Eurso Euro and Oy Another Polish Joke. Both were an easy Three coats of color to reach full opacity. I ran into no issues with the formulations. OAPJ was a little sheer but did well in Three coats. It can also be layered.
What do you guys think of the mixed- texture moons? I really liked the look of the shiny and "rough" together. I'm sure this type of mani would hold up well, these textured polishes have been wearing like iron on me! I've been really enjoying this O.P.I Spring Collection. I think it's one of the best Spring collections by O.P.I in a while!

Would you try a mixed texture look?

Random Saturday Spam!

Happy caturday my lovelies!

So today continues my random spammy series. I am cleaning out folders like a fool! I know it might sound crazy or weird lol, but this is what I need to do to get myself back in gear. I have a ridiculous amount of goals for this new year. There are many -a- things I want to get accomplished. I am SOO excited!! Many good things are coming!
Anyhow! Saturday Spam after the jump!

X-Mas Rush!!! Zoya Holiday Drips

Good Morning loves!!

Today I am starting a mini-series that will go until Christmas Day. Nothing but Holiday themed looks, all day, everyday until December 25th! I'm kinda bummed I'm getting started so late in the month, but better late than never! Today's look is a quick drippy mani in some beautiful Zoya Ornate Collection colors.
This look started with two easy coats of Zoya Ziv. For the Green drip accents I used Zoya Logan. For the Red drips I used Zoya Posh. I used a fine brush to freehand my drips. My initial idea was to let Posh dry to its intended satin matte-finish. Basically I wanted matte against glossy. That didn't work out too well, Posh was kinda looking like dried blood drips on my pretty Gold base. Instead I top coated my nails all in Seche Vite followed by Cult Nails Wicked fast. The top coat brought out the pretty Red tones in Posh and brought the look up to Christmas speed, instead of glam-Halloween lol.

What do you guys think of my melty Christmas look?
