ICING Magnetix Blue-Purple

Good Morning loves!

Today I have for you the second magnetic polish I picked up while I was at ICING this past weekend. This one is the amazing Blue to Purple duochrome magnetic shimmer. This one is quite spectacular. For today's magnetic look I used the wavy design magnet. I got lucky and ended up with one of each kind of magnet. The straight line effect and the wavy line effect magnets. I really like how the Blue looks in the wavy design so I went with that one. These are so much freakin fun!!

Muffin Monday!! ICING Magnetix Gold- Green

Good Morning my loves!

Today is a new day! I have something sooo cool to show you today. This is really Muffin's pick. What happened to the picture you ask? Well my butt forgot I had the picture in my camera still and I accidentally deleted ALL the pictures.... Her choices were Lynderella's Love Potion No. 99, Mercurial and ICING's Blue/Purple, Green/ Gold Magnetix. I was very excited for her to pick ANY of those because they are all incredible polishes in their own rights.

So instead of a pic of Muffin making her pick, I have a picture of Muffin and Truffle's new spot. They literally take turns in it! :D It is too cute for words... So here is this...

Sparkle + Black= ♥

I love Black polish...

And I love glitter even more. Combine Black and Glitter and you get one of my favorite things ever. I remember when I was 13 and getting my first Black polish ever. It had silver sparkles in it... It took 4 coats to be opaque and it took forever to dry so I smudged it... My nails looked like butt, but I felt like such a rebel haha... Since then my hand has gotten a little better and so has Black polish....

This is Two coats of Confetti's Ice Ice Baby over O.P.I Black Onyx. I really love these types of glitters that make any polish come to life. This consists of iridescent glitter packed full in a clear base

Here is Confetti's Party Palace Blue over O.P.I Black Onyx. Two coats of glitter. Party Palace Blue is basically a Cornflower Blue jelly packed full of iridescent Blue micro and medium glitters. LOOOOOVE this one! I suggest clicking for detail.

Here is Two coats of W'n'W Kaleidoscope over O.P.I Black Onyx.

Here is a swatch of O.P.I's amazing Black Onyx. Two coats. Hawt patent leather nails as a result!

This is the amazing Bettina Midnite. Which I've covered recently.

Behold! Sinful Color's What's your Name?. I love the sparkle in this one. Its an awesome Blue to Purple duochrome glitter packed in a shiny Black base. The formula is amaaaazing on this polish. Well pigmented and extremely shiny. My pics are only showing the Blue sparkle but this is still absolutely stunning!

Here are some crappy pics of the very awesome ICING Blackout. This one is a black base packed full of Holographic Glitter. The formula on this one is ok. A 3 coater, I usually put down a base of O.P.I Black Onyx and layer this over it.

Isn't glitter just awesome? As big of a pain in the butt as glitter is to remove I still love wearing them sooo much. They are fun and they make me happy. Sparkly Black polish is just the shiz. It's edgy and fun at the same time and I always end up staring at my nails when I wear these types of colors.

Sparkle makes everything better.... just like bacon...

Orly It's up to Blue

Who loves Blue polish?

This girl right here! And why do I love Blue polish? Just take a look...
It's up to Blue is a light Metallic Turquoise/ Blue that is rocking my world right now. It's bold and bright and just beautiful. The formula is very smooth but watch out for streaks, the less brush strokes you need to cover your nail the better. It is also very important to keep the brush strokes even and always in a straight up and down motion with polishes like this one. For the full effect I needed Three coats of It's up to Blue

Here is the whole mani with Two coats of Hard Candy, Just Nails Matte-ly in Love. Matte top coat.
I really love the whole look matte so much more than glossy. Most of all I love that It's up to Blue manages to keep it's metallic appearance even when matte. I'm really liking the subdued sparkle on my tips.

Quick note: To achieve a black tip with Black Out I had to first put down a base of O.P.I Black Onyx. Icing's Black Out by itself is not opaque enough to cover other polishes. Once my base of Black Onyx was dried I carefully went over it with Black Out and achieved the look I was going for.

What do you guys think?

Icing Preppy Purple

It was love at first sight!

ICING Preppy Purple
Artificial Light
If you click on this one you can see the icy blue simmer thoughout.
Very close to actual color.
Preppy Plaid
I picked up this little beauty from an Icing store not too long ago. I really liked the color in the bottle but once I got it on my nail.... I think I drooled a little. It is a stunning light lavender with an icy blue flash throughout. It is beautiful. The finish is like a little lavender pearl. The application was so easy and flawless. I'm really happy with Icing polishes, and they always seem to be on sale BOGO which is even nicer ;-). Then I figured a color named "Preppy Purple" was deserving of a "preppy" stamp and what is preppier than plaid? To finish it all off I used a coat of Seche Vite.

Icing Black Out

Hello ladies or otherwise ;-),

So as you may have read I was recently in Orlando and while there my best friend and I made a visit to one of the malls... Shocker :)! Well, we made a pit stop at an Icing store and there, in the polish racks, tucked behind everything like a little treasure was a lonely bottle of this beautiful color.... It was fate!

ICING- Black Out
Artificial Light
Blurred to show sparkle.
Black Out is a black (no... really?! lol) base full of micro holographic sparkles. To achieve full opacity I needed three coats of the color. It applied very easily and the finished product looked like midnight sky. Just stunning! It dries a bit dull so a good top coat is needed to give it shine. I used a coat of Seche Vite. It's so beatiful and I could not stop staring at it. I promise, these pictures do it no justice. The sparkle effect is subtle but enough to make you want to take a closer look. I loove it and cannot wait to wear it again! :)
