Oldies, but Goodies... And much overdue Updates

(**Press Samples**)
Hello and happy Tuesday my lovely readers!

It's been how long now? Much too long... I don't have any great excuses for my absence, not really. I wish I had a good reason for my slight disappearance. In some ways, I suppose I do. Sometimes life really does get crazy. Sometimes, priorities get shifted and things happen that make you really sit down and think about what is important to you at that specific time in your life. I really don't wanna go into boring and sad things... But please know this, I miss sharing my work. I miss interacting with all the wonderful people who come by to read my ramblings and look at my silly nails. I don't know what the future holds for myself, or LTHP... But, I do know that I miss "wasting" countless hours painting my nails and my face. I look forward to having the space, the time and motivation to get back to doing just that.
I've had this post in my drafts for ...????... A LONG TIME... A very long time. All these shades were released for Summer 2014 by Colors by Llarowe. Once again, I'm finding myself with no good excuses as to why these didn't go up much, much sooner... Better late than never, I suppose?

Pink Wednesday!! Edgy Holographic Splatter

Hi hello and happy Pink Wednesday!

I have some wonderful news before we get started with my usual nonsense.... I have a JOB!! A nice office job in real estate at a really nice community. I am so excited about this opportunity and I can't wait to see where it takes me. I am also happy that I will be able to keep my nails looking pretty lol... I know that sounds uber shallow or maybe dumb.. But I am, after all, a nail polish blogger and my nails should be always looking nice right?

For today's post I wanted to play with some of my holographic beauties from Llarowe... I've done lots of creamy splatter manis but I had been wanting to do a holographic one because I though the effect of the sparkle would look so cool. I went for it and I am so happy with the awesome and flashy results!
This is a really simple look. I started with a base of Two coats of Glitter Gal's Frappe. For the splatter I used HITS Atena and Glitter Gal Lizard Belly. I love LOVE love how this looks. Because of the holographic sparkle it almost looks like a watercolor mani. Have you guys seen those yet? They are soo cool and I am dying to try one. I think I will soon. This is quite and edgy and fun look... Holo Splatter! A big win in my book!
MMMMmmmmmm!!!

What do you guys think?

@Llarowe Spam FTW!! Lots 'o Pics!

Hi loves and happy Tuesday!

Today I have some amazing colors from the lovely Shop Llarowe. I a while back Leah Ann, who runs the shop, held a Facebook contest for ladies who would be her official swatchers and I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of her ladies. Leah Ann had a special assignment in mind for me... See, she wants me to do some awesome nail art with her pretties.. And I totally intend on doing so.. BUT FIRST! I just had to wear them!! I've had these for some time now but I really wanted to actually enjoy them first. Now I have a surge of ideas and I hope to start working on some nail art with these Llarowe beauties soon. For now here are some swatchies!!

Ozotic #502
This is one coat of Ozotic #502 layered over a basic Black creme. This color has an amazing Copper to Green to Golden shift that resembles a Beetle. Ozotic really has captured my heart with these multichromes. I really can't wait to play around with stamping and such with these.

This pictures really shows the shift and just how shimmery this pretty really is.

And in the shade you can really see the color shift in this beauty.
Just amazing...

Glitter Gal Not Another Red/ 3D Holo
Holy WOW!!! This is just so pretty and saturated and just perfect! It is not a bright shade of Red but more of a Pinky- Red with a very strong and sparkly linear holographic finish. The formula on this color is just perfection and super pigmented and sooo easy to work with. That is one of my many favorite things about Glitter Gal holographic polishes.
This is just awesome.

Specialita HITS Atena
This one is a saturated Fuchsia jelly base packed full of strong linear holographic sparkle. This color is super girly but the holographic finish really sets it apart. This color has a really nice formula and it is fully opaque at Two coats but I did Three thin ones to give it a little bit extra sparkle. I really love the polishes in this collection.
Girly with and edge..

Specialita HITS Demeter
Demeter is Atenas yummy Orange sister. Formula wise it just like Atena... Now let's just talk about how awesome this shade is.. It's Orange.. It's Holo... It is just AMAZING! My love of Oranges really peaks right here loool.. I mean I don't see how it could get much better than Orange and Holo...
Yum!!

These are my newer Llarowe pretties.. Wanna see some more? Just keep reading after the jump...

Glitter Gal Blue 3D Holographic (Pic heavy)

I wish I had a gallon of this...

Yeah.. A gallon... I wont say much and get straight to the swatch because this is just too much awesomeness for my brain to process.
So this is the most amazing Blue holo I own. It also has the lamest name out of all the Blue holos I own. It goes by Blue Holo 3D. Wahh waaahhh.... However, it makes up for its lame name by having extra bits of awesome sprinkled into it and being a super strong linear holo. The best part about this baby? The excellent formula. It applies evenly and smoothly. it is highly pigmented with holo goodness and it does not drag one bit. For these pics I used only Two coats.

I wore this for about Four days and had minimal tip wear and no chips. I am super happy with the wear because it could have probably gone for longer....

 <3<3<3<3<3<3!!!

The holo is so strong you can even see it come through in crappy lighting.
This beauty and other Glitter Gal awesomesauce is available from Llarowe. Epic WIN tab + One!

Thanks for stopping by!

Ozotic 504- Holy Purple Multichrome!

Hi lovely peeps!!!

I know it's Wednesday and I should be in Pink but I just was not in a Pink mood today.. Instead I wanted to show you guys some serious multichromatic awesomesauce....
So head on and in full Sun this baby flashes mostly Burple. I absolutely love how the Blue flashes are so distinct. #504 is a predominantly Purple duochrome with some flashes of Blue, Pink and Copper. Like #506 this beauty really comes through when layered. For these pics I have Two coats of 504 over a Black creme.

I love how these pics show the pretty color shift in this polish.

Yes please....
I cannot get enough of these Ozotic polishes. I really want to layer them over all kinds of different shades and finishes to see how they transform polishes. I love these chameleons. Ozotic polishes are available from Leah Ann at Shop Llarowe :D!

Thoughts on this pretty?

Glitter Gal 3D White Sparkle

*Swoon*

If angels wore nail polish... This would be their go to color...
White Sparkle is an interesting mix of colors actually. This pretty is a soft Seashell Pink to Green duochrome shimmer with chunky Holographic sparkles sprinkled in there for good measure. The base of this polish is quite sheer so i think it would actually do better layered than on it's own. In my pics I have on Three coats of White Sparkle by itself. I like it but I wish the glitter didn't look so gritty against the delicate base. I Definitely want to see this pretty layered!

And there you have it... This pretty along with other Glitter Gal goodies are available from Lean Ann @ Shop Llarowe.

Thoughts on this ethereal beauty?

Ozotic 506- Multichromatic Goodness!!

Hi hello!!!

Can I just say how much of a transition it's turned out to be to get back to my normal posting loool! But it feels soo good to be able to show you guys all these beauties I've had stashed away :D. Today I have another beauty from Shop Llarowe. This is my first Ozotic and can i just say... Wow! I'm a little speechless!
Ok, so I have quite a few pics of this pretty because #506 has so many colors to capture. This beauty is a Blue based multichrome. It has a shift from Blue to Purple to Slightly Coppery tones. In shade you can also see some hints of Green.... It's just stunning. In the pic above I have captured it in straight on Sunlight and you can see the main color which is a stunning Blackened Blue shimmer with stunning flashes of Emerald Green. This particular Ozotic is definitely meant to be layered. On it's own it is very very sheer and the colors do not come through. Now.. put these pretty over any color and get ready to be blown away. For my pics I chose a standard Black creme as my base for #506. For this mani I did Two coats of Ozotic 506 over Bettina Onix.

In the Two pics below it is shown in the shade where the color shift was easier to capture.

And this picture is in my OLDDDD style of pics because I just loved how the color shift looked here.
How amazing is this? I mean really.. I've never seen a polish like this one... Ozotic is where it's at!! I am beyond happy with this polish and I seriously want to layer it over EVERYTHING I own lol.... Just spectacular. Epic WIN!!

Do you own any Ozotics? Which are your faves?

Mini Holo Glitter Gal Spamalamadingdong!!

Good morning peeps!!

So after the massive undertaking that was the 31 day challenge it feels nice to be able to slow down for a minute and take a little break.. But what better way to get back to normal than by showing you guys some awesome Glitter Gal holo spam? I've been dying to show you guys these beauties.. So let's just get to it!!
Above is the ever popular Lizzard Belly. Wow! Drool... Slackjaw... lol! This is the most beautiful dark Hunter Green jelly-ish base packed full of linear holographic sparkle. This was so hard to photograph because my camera just would not pick up the stunning holo effect as amazing as it looked in person. If you like how this looks in pictures then you will be swept off your feet when you see it in person. This baby has an amazing formula and it fully opaque at Two effortless coats.

This is Dark Purple Holo. Mmmmmm Purple and Holo... What more could I ask for? This beauty has the most amazing Holo effect. It's just STUNNING. This polish also has an amazing application. For this one I used Three coats of color to give it full depth of color and even more holo sparkle. This is such an epic WIN!!

And last but absolutely not least is the ever- angelic Light as a Feather. A lovely white with just a tinge of Grey and the most beautiful holographic effect. This one is far creamier and the holo is more subtle than the other Two I've shown today. This is sophistication in a bottle and so very ethereal. For the pics I used Three coats for full coverage and opacity. This pretty also has an amazing formula.

I am so stoked on Glitter Gal polishes. They have an amazing formula and amazing holographic polishes. Glitter Gal has a great range of colors and I highly recommend them to any holographic polish lover ... And even if you don't like holos.. You may find yourself in a trance over these beauties. Glitter Gal is available from the lovely Lean at Shop Llarowe. Her site has very quickly become my go to for HTF international brands. She had great customer service and a great selection of stunning lacquers.

Have you tried Glitter Gal? Which are your faves?

HITS Hefesto- Silver Holo Amazingness!

OMG...

OMG.. OMG.... OMGGG!!!!!!! The Sun was really out today and I got TONS of swatches done!! Yay! Brazil is where it's at loool! I don't know much about the Brand HITS other than it comes from Brazil and they make some AMAZEBALLS linear holographics.... I'm still wiping the drool of my chin.
Hefesto is a Silver linear holographic. The holographic effect is SO strong. my pictures do this very little justice. Now where this holo really stands out from my other Two Silver linear holos is in the formula. OMG this color has an outstanding formula and it is fully opaque in Three coats. What I love the most about the formula is that it doesn't have that signature PITA dragging and streaking that most linear holos seem to have. Not this baby! This is just amazing in every aspect of the word!

You just can't go wrong with a good 'ol fashioned holo!!! Epic WIN!!!

HITS polishes are available from Shop Llarowe. I love this e-tailer because she carries all kinds of HTF brands and she is a sweetheart! I highly reccomend her shop.

Thanks for stopping by!
