Zoya Naturel Deux Collection Swatches & Review

(**Press Samples**)
Behold the, not so, triumphant return of my ultra nubby nails! No, I definitely did not intend to make my nails this short. Last week I had two awful breaks, both my middle nails went not-so-peacefully. To add insult to injury, the middle nail on my right hand broke twice in one day. It was a bad day that day. It is probably a good thing that the Zoya Naturel Deux collection looks so beautiful on short nails too :D.
I was sooo excited to see Zoya expand their "Naturel" range into a deeper, more fall oriented palette. These six creamy beauties all remind me of delicious coffee and rich chocolatey confections. To see these six, new, nudey beauties up close and person just keep on reading after the jump.

Zoya Brigitte- Stamped Nail Art Look

(**Zoya Press Sample**)
Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Today's look is something dainty, feminine and totally not me haha. There is really not much to say about this manicure. I wanted to do something with a vintage and delicate feel. I went with one of my Zoya Naturel collection shades. I chose Brigitte,  she was one of my favorites in the collection.

For this look I started with a base of Zoya Brigitte. I went with a floral and lacey stamp from one of my Pueen stamping plates. This design is from the Love Elements plate set, Pueen47. For my stamping color I went with China Glaze Passion. I topped my nails off with some Seche Vite to protect my stamp and the did a final coat of Twee & Honey This is Mate-ness matte top coat to give the Golden stamp more presence. Somehow making the metallic Gold matte made it jump out even more.

New Releases from Inglot- New Freedom System Gloss Palette and Eyebrow Shaping Pencils

(**press samples**)
I promise, last post for the day :D.

First things, first; You guys ROCK! Thank you so much for all your heartwarming and encouraging comments on my previous post. I am so happy that you guys are as excited as I am. I am really, REALLY looking forward to all the awesome interactions the new additions to LTHP will bring. I also want to thank all of you for understanding why I need to do this as person, as well as a blogger. So, I can't say this enough; THANK YOU ALL for sticking by me during my adventures in beautyland!

I figured, what better way to usher in a new era of awesomesauce; than by introducing you to some new goodies from Inglot! Back in August Inglot did a small release of several new products, and I was lucky to receive a few of them for review. Inglot is a cosmetic brand I've long been wanting to try. While I have had nothing but amazing experiences with all of their lacquers, I had not had a chance to play with their makeup. So, I was ridiculously excited to have a chance to try, not only their new Freedom System Gloss palette, but their new Eyebrow shaping pencil/crayons as well.

The new Freedom System Gloss palette is made up of Five BEAUTIFUL, lightly shimmering, shades ranging from soft Nude, to chic Lilac. The texture of these glosses is just amazingly smooth and moisturizing. The pigmentation of the Two shades I've had a chance to actually wear was just stunning. These are opaque enough to tint the lips perfectly, but they play off of your natural lip color. Essentially these will work on any skin tone. They will look different on every person, but just as beautiful. I really thin, they've done a wonderful job with the colors they chose to release. My favorite part of these is that they do not feel sticky at all, they are just perfectly pigmented and smooth.
Even though they are a gloss, they actually wear very decently and last a long time. I applied mine with a brush. Application was an absolute dream on the Two I've tried, one of which I forgot to photograph ;-\. But, don't worry... I have a feeling this palette will be getting a lot of use. I am also certain these shades look amazing when mixed together.
#201: A soft shimmering coral-toned nude shimmer. I've worn this one, one my lips it turned into a healthy Golden glow. It was beautiful.
#202: An Orange-toned shimmering Coral. I've not had a chance to wear this one, but on the arm swatch it was fairly pigmented and slightly metallic.
#203: A berry toned Red shimmer. Another shade I am just dying to wear. On my arm swatch it brought out some slight Orange undertones with a slight Golden shimmer.
#204: A pink-toned mauve shimmer. On my arm it was a bit darker than it is on the pan. This one will get a lot of love I am sure as it has just enough Pink in it.
#205: An amazing shade of light shimmering Lilac with Pink undertones. I have a lip swatch of this beauty below. As you can see on me it is a Lilac-leaning pink, and that shimmer really brings this, doll-like, color to life. I got many compliments on this shade. I wore it for several hours and it was very comfortable, and I needed no touch ups.
The glosses are available now. You can head to this post for full availability details on all the products in featured in this post.

Another of Inglot's new Releases I got a chance to try out is their new Eyebrow shaping pencils. These come in Three shades and have a stiff, waxy consistency. They are easy to work with and make shaping and setting my brows so quickly.
These pencils are the kind that twist up, hooray for no wasted product by having to sharpen! These also have really nice tight caps, they click with a vengeance and sometimes even give me a hard time opening, so no worries about your product drying up there ;).
#63: is a light Ash Brown. #62 is a deep Espresso brown. This one is pretty much my go- to eyebrow pencil at the moment. #61 is a Black pencil. I used this one for a bold brow and it was pretty badass ;D.

I am SO happy to have finally had a chance to try some Inglot cosmetics. They are really amazing quality, and I really like the concept of the Freedom System palettes. They have so many different options! I love when companies give the option to customize your kit and Inglot is king when it comes to that. Needless to say that I am madly in love with the new Freedom System gloss palette. The colors are just beautiful and effortless. I definitely recommend the glosses if you are into just the right amount of color and having a nice range of customizable shades. I am also very pleased with the eyebrow pencils, though I am still mastering them.

Have you had a chance to try Inglot products? If so, which are your faves?

Pink-ish Wednesday! Ombre Fun with Inglot Colour Play Nail Polishes

(**Inglot Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!!

It's only been about an Eon since I've done a Pink Wednesday... So, here is a Pink Wednesday post ♥. A few weeks back I received the Inglot  Colour Play pastel range. These babies are perfect for ombre manis, they really take the guess work out of picking your shades. For this look, I also went back to my roots by doing some stamping. I used my Pueen Love Elements nail stamping plate set.
Inglot Ombre Stamped with Pueen photo DSCN5568_zps002535d4.jpg
This look features Inglot Shades, from Thumb to Pinkie: 388, 387, 386, 385 and 384. For the stamping I used Konad Black Special polish and Pueen stamping plates Pueen 32 on my Middle and Ring finger and Thumb. For my Pinkie and Index nails I used Pueen 28. To finish my nails off I did a coat of Seche Vite followed by a light coat of IN Northern Lights.

Here are my base colors before stamping and top coating. 388 is a clean, light Lilac purple creme. 387 is an aweome Blue toned bubblegum Pink creme. 386 is a muted Violet- Mauve creme. 385 is a light Pink- toned Mauve creme. 384 is a beautiful muted Coral creme. All of these polishes have a slight flash of smooth complimenting shimmer. You can see the Golden shimmer in the bottle photo above. That said, the shimmer does not really translate to the nails, but it does aid in appication. All of these were really easy to apply and all did well in Three, thin and easy coats.

I miss stamping so much. But at the same time, I'm pretty excited because I have all of these awesome Pueen plates that I have not really gotten to play with yet. So I have those to look forward to :D. I have been terrible about keeping up with plates honestly, if you guys know of any sets I may have missed out on, or new brands, share them in the comments!!

So, I am LOOOVING these Inglot Colour Play range. I love them so much, they have even earned a spot on my wall racks. These are great for nail art of all kinds and I just love the formulas and beautiful shades.

Thanks for stopping by darlings!

China Glaze Awakening

Say hello...

To the beautiful, sophisticated, duochrome beauty that is China Glaze's Awakening.
Awakening is a beautiful Rosey- Mauve with a Golden duochrome that is just sublime. The formula on this polish is creamy smooth and well pigmented. I was worried it would be sheer from how it looks in the bottle but it was fully opaque in Two coats. It's an absolute must to keep brush strokes even and straight because this can show streaks if you rush through application. I absolutely love this shade, it's delicate and there is somewhat of a vintage look to it that I'm just crazy about, I love vintage inspired looks. I think this is one of those shades that will flatter most skin tones. I had to post a lot of pics to be able to show the color changes and I just couldn't decide which pictures I liked best. This is an excellent go- to shade for those days when I just don't know what to do with my nails.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Pedi Post! + Pics of Day- cation :)

Hhhmm.. this has been happening a lot lately...

Well after a day at Islands of Adventure, Orlando (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was mindblowing I'll put some pics up)  my feet took quite the beating and a pedi was in order. For this pedi I chose:

China Glaze Hey Doll
Vintage Vixen Collection
Sunlight w/ Flash
I liked this color in the bottle but I'm not sure how I feel about it on me... In the bottle it looks more Rosey- Mauve with hints of Silver.... On me it looks slightly Bronze. I'm not sure... I like it enough to wear it for at least a week :). The application was easy and smooth. Maybe I just need a tan... :-p

Now for some pictures of the park. This was really amazing. If any of you find yourselves in Orlando, Florida you must go here. But be sure to go really early, like when the park opens! But seriously it is something to be seen. Especially if you have seen the movies. As a matter of fact ... Just go.. It's amazing either ways!

Pedi of the ???

Hello all!

I just wanted to make a quick post to show you guys the pedi of the ??? :)... LOL. For this pedi I chose...

China Glaze: 5th Avenue
Direct Sunlight
This is a great color for toes. I just love it. It's a beautiful mauve creme that goes on like a dream. It was opaque in two coats and it dried smoothly and quickly. As always it was all topped off with two coats of the amazing Seche Vite. I have a feeling I'll be wearing this for a while :).
