Pink Wenesay!! Glitter Gal Frappe

Hi loves and happy Pink Wednesday!

It's been a while huh? Today I have another awesome Glitter Gal holo for you guys. I did some really cute stamping too. This color brought out the cutesy side of me :D.
So for this cute and playful design I started with Two effortless coats of Glitter Gal's Frappe. Yummeh, yummeh soft Pink holo! Anywho back to the cuteness. For the stamping I used some designs from Konad plate M59 and Konad Black and White  Special polish. I really love the playful and edgy look of the layered bow stamps.

Here is Frappe on it's own. Lovely, lovely flush of Pink color with a strong linear holographic finish. This has an amazing formula and is fully opaque at Two easy coats. This is like Fairy magic on my nails!

  The prettiest holo eva!

And in crappy light! So cute!
Well that is it for today's post. It's been a while since I had done a Pink Wednesday! I can finally sit at the cool table again.... Head to Llarowe for Glitter Gal pretties!

Happy Pink Wednesday!

Muffin Mondays!! Essence Time for Romance and more Hair Pics!!

Hi and happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Holiday Weekend. I had an awesome weekend with the family and Mr. LTHP. Today Muffin had some Essence pretties to choose from. These beauties came all the way from The Netherlands thanks to the lovely Deborah from LVCAM. This was one of the sweetest nail mails ever. I was feeling down and stuff and Deborah sent me some Amazing pretties to cheer me up :D. Today's pick reminds me of something that Deborah Lippmann might do....
This is Time for Romance. The name is so fitting. This is a Mauvey/ Rosey version of Deborah Lippmann's Accross the Universe (Which I am now the proud owner of a dupe of...). This pretty is made up of Pink Hex glitters and irregular shaped and sized smaller Pink and Pink iridescent bits suspended in a Mauve/Pinky Jelly. I think this would do better layered but here I have Three coats of Time for Romance on it's own. It's a very romantic and pretty glitter. ♥!!!

Not the best pic.. My lights were jacked up!

Anywho!! Here is me in the Sun with mah cray cray hair!! But how cute is this dress? It came from Delia's and I got such a good deal on it! It's so comfy and cute!!

Here is a close up of my hair! I loove it so much!! I will make it my mission to make sure it remains vibrant and awesome!!
Well that is it for this Monday. Have a lovely day ladies!!

Pink Wednesday!! O.P.I Pink Shatter and Mod About You

Oh yeah...

It's a Pink Wednesday post... In the midst of the 31 day challenge madness.. I just had to take five minutes to add some Pink to my life.
Pink Shatter is an extension to O.P.I's Shatter line. This pretty, however, has a mission... They released this pretty as a Breast Cancer Awareness shatter <3. I really like te shade of Pink it is in. It is a vibrant Pink shimmer shatter. It reminds me of the shade of Come to Poppy but slightly lighter. The formula takes on the shade of the base so the shade of Pink can be lighter or darker depending on your base color choice. It's really pretty.

Here is a swatch of the lovely Mod About You. This is one of my favorite Pink cremes EVER!! It's a soft , milky Pink with a smooth formula. This is Thee thin coats and Seche Vite.
Thanks for stopping by and happy Pink Wednesday!!

Pink Wednesday!! Zoya Rica

Hi lovess!!!

So today's mani is a simple one using one of my favorite Zoya's to come out this Summer. I know it's not a full on Pink but I'm calling it Pink lol.. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :).
So for this simple look I went with Three coats of Rica as my base and then I stamped using Bundle Monster plate BM20 and Konad Special Black polish. Since Rica leans so Coral on me this look ended up looking a little Halloween IRL. BUTT... I didn't mind. I'm thinking of doing lots of cute Halloween looks this year :).

And here is Rica all on her own. This lovely Coral-y Pink/ Gilded shimmer is like Florida in a bottle. I really love this color so much. This also has a wonderful formula. It does need Three coats for full on coverage and color payoff.
Isn't this such a lovely color!?

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Pink Wednesday!!

Pink Wednesday!! O.P.I Pink Flamenco

Hello hello and happy Pink Wednesday!

Man Oh man have I been out of it lately... I just really have not been in an artsy mood... I find that I am really just wanting to wear my colors and just leave them plain :(. I'm really hoping to get out of this funk soon and start showing you guys some more exciting stuff. I also was not happy with my new camera I had gotten for tutorials so I returned it and now I'm waiting for my new one to come to see how it works out... For now please enjoy this swatch of one of my favorite O.P.I Pinks. This pretty was a gift from my pops :).
I freaking LOVE this color so much. It's a bright Magenta Pink creme. This color has one of the most perfect fomulas ever. It just applies so smoothly and effortlessly. For this mani I did two coats of color. I think this is a shade of Pink that would look good on any skin tone. This is a serious "Look at me color" and even though it came out for Fall ('09?), I think it works perfect for any season.

My nails are getting long but I'm kinda liking them... Hmmmm....
Have a lovely Wednesday!!

Pink Wednesday!! China Glaze Strawberry Fields Golden Gradient and a Sponging Tutorial

Hi loves and happy Pink Wednesday!

For today I decided to revisit one of my very favorite Pinks. For some reason I've only worn it once before and that's a shame because Strawberry Fields is just soo pretty and classic! I think just about everyone is familiar with this color because it's just so special and China Glaze at it's shimmery best!
So for this simple look I started with Two coats of Strawberry Fields and then I sponged the tips with China Glaze's Midnight Kiss. I really love how the Golden sparkle in Midnight Kiss blends into the sparkle in Strawberry Fields. I love how simple this look is but it really makes a statement.

And here is Strawberry Fields on her own. Do I need to say much or should I just let the pics do the talking?

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

And [HERE] is a tutorial on how I did this look. Also!! I got a new camera to be able to do proper tutorials soon!!

Happy Pink Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Pink Wednesday!! Pink Bettina Sponged Gadient

Happy Pink Wednesday!

Today I have a simple Pink gradient using all Bettina colors. I am kinda really happy to be back to my old angle of photos!
For this look I started with a base of Two coats of #190. I wanted to do something a little different by doing the gradient with the lighter colors layered over the darker ones. I sponged with Cotton Candy and then the very tips were sponged in Marshmallow. I then topped the whole thing with one coat of Orion for a sparkly blend of the colors.

Here is a swatch of my base color #190. This color has one of the best formulas I have ever used. I really love this Magenta shade of Pink. This was two very easy coats.
And Just a reminder for Bettina purchases!!! Lovelies wanting information on pricing, shipping and purchasing Bettina polishes please shoot an email to janetmrosado@gmail.com (Rosama Distributors-authorized distributors Bettina cosmetics)

Pink Wednesday!! Franken- Cristinas's Pink Thing

Hi loves and happy Pink Wednesday!

Today I have a special franken creation. This is my answer to the new Deborah Lippmann polishes. You know the ones right? Happy Birthday in a Pink and Black base. I don't really know the names yet. Sometime ago the lovely Varnish Vixen posted about some franken dupes she had made and I decided to follow suit and create my own version of these DL polishes.
Cristina's Pink Thing is a mix of Ruby Kisses Hot Pink, China Glaze Rich and Famous, W 'n' W Party of Five Glitters, a whole bottle of NYX Carnival and some Orly clear. It's not a dead on dupe because my glitter is a bit more sparse and the Pink base is slightly darker but OMG do I freaking love this! For this mani I did Three coats of Cristina's Pink Thing.

Here is a swatch of my main base Pink. Hot Pink is your basic Barbie Pink jelly. It applies beautifully and is opaque at two coats.
I'm really happy with how it turned out. And I'm even happier about how much cheaper this alternative was... I just cannot come to terms with DL prices.

What do you guys think?

Pink Wednesday!! Bettina Pinks Watermarble

Hi loves!!

Today I have another Special Pink Wednesday! A watermarble!!!! I don't feature many of these on my own blog because well.. The technique and I didn't always get along. Well with my recent success with [THIS] water marble I did for the lovely Kellie... Let's just say I've gotten cocky about my marbling "skills" lool.... Just kidding... But I really wanted to do one for my own readers. What better day to feature a marble than Pink Wednesday?! I may just go on a water marbling kick...
What is a Pink Wednesday without some sparkle! This is the lovely INM Northern Lights Hologram top coat.

For this water marble I started with a base of Cotton Candy, which I am holding in the picture above. Bettina polishes are the best I have tried for water marbling. They spread perfectly, they don't dry too fast or too slow and they are so pigmented that the color remains true even when marbling.

Here are all the colors I used.

And here is a swatch of Cotton Candy. This is easily one of my very favorite Pinks. I know I say that a lot but this one is really special to me. I love everything about this color, especially the formula. This baby is an easy two coater and the color is perfectly opaque and smooth.
And Just a reminder for Bettina purchases!!! Lovelies wanting information on pricing, shipping and purchasing Bettina polishes please shoot an email to janetmrosado@gmail.com (Rosama Distributors-authorized distributors Bettina cosmetics).

This has to be one of my favorite Pink Wednesday manis in some time. If only because I marbled for you guys!

Pink Wednesday!! My Best Friend's Wedding Series Edition

Happy Pink Wednesday!!

Today I have a special edition of Pink Wednesday for you guys. I was feeling "inspired" by one of my previous designs but I tweaked it and improved on it and now this is one of my favorite designs ever.
[HERE] You can see the original look that inspired this version. I just love it soo much! So what I did for this version: I inverted the color of the dots and the bow  and added rhinestones to the bows for a little flash and bling. As my base color I used one of my favorite Pinks ever Sinful's Forget Now. . Then for some extra sparkle I added a top coat of INM Northern Lights. Dots plate: BM19, Bow Plate: Konad M59.

Here is a swatch of the amazing Forget Now. It's a lovely Fuchsia Pink glassfleck shimmer. For this mani I used Three thin coats of color.
For the next few designs I'm going to be doing some more traditional bridal designs. I have a few very soft and delicate ideas floating around in my head that should turn out pretty (I hope).

What is on your tips today?

Pink Wednesday!! China Glaze Pink Sponge Gradient

Hi loves and happy late Pink Wednesday!

Today I got a little creative and decided to do a spongy gradient with all China Glaze Pinks. Pictures first and then I'll blab :)!

So for my base I used Three coats of Innocence and then I sponged it with Empowerment (which I am holding in the pic above) and at the very tips I used Rich and Famous. For the stamp I used plate BM221 and Konad Pink special polish. Then for good measure I added my new obsession, INM's Northern Lights top coat which gave it just the right amount of sparkle. For the sponging I used a make-up wedge.

Here is a swatch of CG's Innocence. Three coats, no top coat.

Sorry for the late post. But hey at least I made it to the party lool!!

Pink Wednesday!! SpaRitual Clarity + Zoya Anja

Happy Pink Wednesday!

For this Pink Wed I'm doing something a little different. I wanted to see this SpaRitual pretty layered over something contrasting and Zoya's Anja was the perfect choice.
Clarity is one of the Three amazing glitters that SpaRitual released as breast cancer awareness collection. It is a lovely Pink glitter suspended in a clear base. Definitely a layering polish.

Sorry it's short and sweet today. Things will be back to normal soon.

I ♥ you guys!

Pink Wednesday!! SpaRitual In Pink Breast Cancer Awareness 2011 Swatches

Hi loves and happy Pink Wednesday!

Today I have swatches of SpaRitual's Breast Cancer Awareness collection for 2011. This is a small group made up of Three amazing shimmery, glittery lacquers. I'm really loving this BCA collection. Beautiful polish with a cause is always great. Shall we get to the pretties?
Up first is Strength. This one is one of the ever popular Plummy Pink shimmers with a Golden/Green duochrome throughout. Similar in concept to Zoya's Faye but with a Pink-er base instead of Plum. They are not dupes by any means. This color is stunning and it has a great two coat formula.

This one is Clarity. This one is really more of a layering polish but here I have it on it's own because I wanted to see if it could be built up to full coverage on it's own. The answer is yes, kind of. This polish is made up of very small light Pink glitter suspended in a clear base. Here I am wearing Three coats of Clarity. In person this actually looked really cool. Like Pink disco balls on my tips.

And last is what turned out to be my favorite of the Three, Knowledge. This one is a mixture of very light Pink micro sparkle mixed in with some holographic/ iridescent glitter and a slight Golden duocrhome under all that. UH- mazing! It's like pixie dust on my nails because it is such a fine sparkle but it build up to opacity in Three coats. This one is really one to be seen in person.

I'm in love with these! They are sparkly, Pink and for a good cause. What else could you want in a polish?

Pink Wednesday!! Essie Splash of Grenadine + China Glaze Oxidized Aqua

Happy Pink Wednesday loves!!

Today I am breaking the rules a little by making the lovely Aqua metallic crackle my main color. I really love this two together. It is like edgy cotton candy.
In the picture above I have China Glaze's Oxidized Aqua crackle over Essie's Splash of Grenadine. Then I really wanted to wear this matte so I added Two coats of Hard Candy's Matte-ly in Love.

In the pic below it's glossy. I actually liked this better matte.

And here is a swatch of Essie's Splash of Grenadine. This one is a pretty, very cool toned Pink with heavy Lavender undertones. The formula is slightly jelly like and easy to work with. It is also slightly sheer. For this mani I used Three coats of color for full opacity. This baby came from my recent Apothica haul. It was a lemming that I developed out of the Blue some time ago after seeing a swatch on someones site. I'm not 100% happy with this pic so I may be showing this again soon.
Happy Pink Wednesday!! What's on your tips today?

Pink Wednesday!! Cult Nails Devious Nature gets Captivated

Happy Pink Wednesday!!!

Today I have a mani that I was literally excited to work on. Sometimes ideas hit me like a ton of bricks and lately I felt like I needed that because I was feeling like I was stuck in some kind of rut. Pink Wednesdays always inspire me! Why? Because I love Pink!!! And today I have on two colors that I hope I never run out of....
SO! There is quite a bit going on here but I love this! I have on Devious Nature with accent nails in Captivated. Then I sponged the tips of my Devious Nature nails with Captivated and finished the whole thing off with some flower stamps from a fauxnad plate C02 and some Pink rhinestones.

Here is my base. I love everything about Devious Nature. I could not have a better formula, brush, pigmentation etc. This is easy, one of my top Pinks. And we all know about the epicness that is Captivated. Maria really outdid herself with these two babies, don't you think?
I hope ya'll like this as much as I do. These are definitely not for the shy of hand though :).

Happy hump day!

Pink Wednesday!! Bettina Topaz

Happy Pink Wednesday!!

Today I have one of the pretties that my momma brought me back from her trip to Puerto Rico. This one is uber pretty and girly. So, it's absolutely perfect for Pink Wednesday!
So for this one I used plate BM221 and Bettina #187 for the stamping. I had a few mishaps when I was working on this one. You know how some days things all line up just right so as to mess up your mani?... No matter how careful you are? Yeah... This was one of those days.

I really should have just left this alone because Topaz by itself is just so dreamy. It is a soft Carnation Pink shimmer. The formula is somewhat sheer but is fully opaque at Two coats and very easy to work with. I love how it dries to a glass-like finish.
I really like this color It's soft and easy to wear. I think of it as blush for my nails. It's soft, it's Pink and it's shimmery, therefore I like it lol!

What is on your tips today?

Pink Wednesday!! Essie Knockout Pout

Happy Pink Wednesday!!

For today I decided to go with one of my new Essie polishes I picked up in a recent www.apothica.com haul. For some reason I've never been very curious about Essie but lately I've been looking more and more at their colors and finding myself attracted like a moth to a flame. So in this haul I picked up a lot of older Essie colors that I am strangely excited about.

For this Pink Wed I decided to go with the awesome Knockout Pout. This one is an awesome BRIGHT bubble gum Pink. This borders on neon and actually dries to a slight satin finish so a good top coat is a must have to bring out the creamy shine in this pretty. The formula for this is incredible! So smooth and creamy. This color comes from their Summer 2010 collection. This is Three coats of Knockout Pout.

IRL this is a lot brighter and a lot Pinkier. However, because it has that slight neon-ness my camera freaked a bit and made it look a bit more muted than it really is. If you love bright Pinks you absolutely need this Essie pretty in your Collection. For the stamp I used plate BM16.
What's on your nails today?
