Hello lovelies!
Today I finally got to play with the Blue Shatters! These are so awesome. I'll just get straight to the pics... I know! I know! I'm sorry Muffin is not here today but I just didn't have the time to get all caught up with my nail mail and prepare to go away for the weekend for the Miami Beauty Show. Pics will come later :). The show was an amaziiiing time. I got to meet the lovely girls from Bettina and THE Bettina herself! Pictures will be coming soon! AND Muffin will be back for sure next Monday because Mr. LTHP will finally be home! I hope you all enjoyed my O.P.I week!
First up is my favorite
Turquoise Shatter. This one is so amazing. It's a shimmery Turquoise with the slightest Green duochrome. The formula on this one was really good. Similar to that of
Silver Shatter so a medium coat will do the job. Here is it over one of my all time favorite Pinks, O.P.I
Feelin' Hot Hot Hot. IDK why it wrinkled but my O.P.I Rapi-Dry Top coat did this to all Three shatters so I'll have to try it again with SV. I waited a long time before applying the TC too.
Here is
Blue Shatter. This one is a true shimmery Blue shatter. The formula for this one was slightly thick, like that of CG's
Fault Line. This one also had the least amount of shatter to it. Here I have it layered over O.P.I
Do you think I'm Tex-y?. I love this over a jelly!
And here is
Navy Shatter. I absolutely LOVE this one. However, due to it's squishy consistency you have to choose what you layer it over carefully or it could just end up looking Black. Here it is layered over O.P.I
What's with the Cattitude? I love this combo so much. Pardon the bald spot in the middle finger. It appears my base was not fully, fully dry. This one shattered the most.
And just for fun here is another swatch of
Do you think I'm Tex-y?. <3333
And a swatch of one of my very first O.P.I's Feelin' Hot Hot Hot. One of the most amazing hot Pink's EVER! End of story :).
I say Navy and Turquoise are absolutely must haves! Blue is really fun, but if you like them to shatter a lot then this might not be for you. The formula is easy to work with and the brush makes the application very easy. I say for all three that a medium-thick coat will get them to shatter best. With shatter polishes it's really a personal prefference and I suggest just playing around with them. I can't wait to layer these over EVERYTHING! haha <33
SO, which shatters will you be jumping on?
