One, Two, Tweak

(**Press Samples**)
Yay for caffeinated Mondays!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was pretty mellow, it was nice. I am severely, overly caffeinated today. I am seeing noises and everything. I had to chug some coffee to get myself going and now I am shaking haha. Today I want to share Two looks I did using some shades from the beautiful KBShimmer Spring collection for 2014. I really love these shades.

For this look I used some of KBShimmer new creme shades, as well as the glitter topper and a really cute and unique crelly-glitter. On my index and Pinkie nails I started with a base of KBShimmer Honey Do List. I then went for creamy gradients with Honey Do List and Pansy-Monium. To give my gradients an extra bit of flash I used KBShimmer Rush Flower Traffic to create a sparkling gradient over my creamy gradient. On my middle, ring and thumbnails I wore three thin coats of KBShimmer Daisy about You.

KBS Look photo DSCN8742_zpsfe024263.jpg

Since I wore the O.P.I "Glitter off" base coat I decided to change my Index nails after a day. I just peeled off my glitter gradient and painted my index nails with KBShimmer Pansy- Monium. The stamp came from the holiday Bundle Monster set. I used Konad White special polish and BM plate BMH09. I top coated my nails with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
KBS Look photo DSCN8790_zps7912c649.jpg

I actually ended up wearing this entire collection as pairings. I love that KBShimmer did some kick ass cremes for this release. They are wonderful shades with amazing formulas. I really loved wearing these. I love Purple and Minty shades together.

Happy caffeinated Monday!!!!

Such Magical, Much Pixies

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!

Did I mention I was on a serious textured kick lately? I mean, seriously... I just cannot stop reaching for textures every time I go to do any mani I intend on wearing for more than a few hours. I am a BIG fan of the ease of texture polishes. Meaning you just need a base coat, one or two coats of a texture and you're done. They dry really quickly and, to me, always look AMAZING.
This past weekends mani was all about the beautiful Zoya Magical Pixies for Spring 2014. This Trio is made up of Three gorgeous sparkling textures. They all feature a strong holographic twinkle, and lots of chunky glitter.
Zoya Magical Pixies photo DSCN8568_zpsf9253acc.jpg
On my thumb and index nails I wore Zoya Lux. Lux is a soft, rose quartz micro sparkle texture base accented by prismatic rose hexes ranging from small to CHUNKY :D. Even though this color is soft and feminine it packs a huge sassy punch thanks to the super sparkly finish.
On my middle nail I wore Zoya Cosmo. Cosmo is the bright Silver sister of Lux. She is basically the same concept, but in an insanely beautiful Diamond- Silver color. Last, but not least, is Zoya Vega which is the Sky Blue version of Lux and Cosmo
These three beauties have a very dense formula. They are very, VERY packed with sparkles. They really do resemble crushed precious stones. I used Two coats of each color. A light hand is best to ensure an even spread of the glitter all over the nail.
Removal of these can, and probably will be a pain. For that reason I wore the OPI peel off base coat underneath. I am glad to say that these pretties wore like IRON for SEVEN days, and I was still able to peel them off when I was ready for a change.

These are the sparkliest of all the PixiDusts that have been released, and some of my favorites. I love how chunky they are and how much they sparkle. I also loved the dense formula because I could definitely get away with one coat in days where I might be rushing.

These retail for $10.00/ color. Did you pick any of these up? What are your thoughts on these sparklies?

Happy Wednesday!

Skittles in "Roughles" ♥

(**Press Sample**)
Good morning!

Yes, it is a "Roughles" Skittle mani :D. These make me a happy girl; and here is why... A few weeks before these were announced I was bitching to my husband about how I wanted some cute pastel textures. Yes, these are things we talk about.. I've ruined him lol.. Anyhow, I was talking about all the awesome bright, and sparkly textures and how much I love them and my disappointment in the lack of cute pastel textures.
Enter the Nicole by O.P.I "Roughles". I was DELIGHTED when I saw the press release for these and even more excited when I started seeing swatches. This collection is made up of Four entirely adorable pastel- toned textures that have no sparkle, but a neat "speckled egg" effect.  Get ready for another raving post about these, because I just love them so much! They really filled a gap in my collection.
 photo DSCN8496_zps422ab4b0.jpg
Index nail- Nicole by O.P.I I'm Stucco on You; a beautiful lilac pastel texture with blue, magenta and Violet "speckles".
Middle nail- Nicole by O.P.I Rock the Look; a perfect pastel bubblegum pink texture with vivid pink and dark pink speckles.
Ring nail- Nicole by O.P.I On What Grounds?; an AMAAAZING aqua pastel texture with blue, dark blue and black speckles. This shade stained my nails a little.
Pinkie nail- Nicole by O.P.I Sand in my Shoe; a greeeat shade of "Easter chick" pastel yellow texture with orange and red speckles.

All of these shades have amazing formulas. They are very dense and pigmented. Even though they are dense they have a really good, even spread. If applied carefully, I could have gotten away with one coat. I used two coats of each color. I love the finish on these. They have that awesome "stucco" look to them when fully dry. Of course it goes without saying that these wore like iron. I wore the O.P.I "Glitter-off" peel off base coat, and they still wore until I decided to peel them off Four days later. I could have worn them longer, but I was ready to a change.
I am madly in love with these and can't wait to wear them again and again and again. They are just precious and have filled a void in my collection. They came at the perfect time.. SO.. I will take this opportunity to mention that I would REEEEEEEEALLY love some neon textures... Sparkly neon, "stucco" neon... Neon texture all the things please ;).

Have you been lusting after these Roughles? I can't pick faves, they are all just perfect!

LTHP Quickies! Milani Power Lip Lasting & Moisturizing Gloss Stains

(**Press Samples**)
Hello and happy Monday!!

Well, as happy as a Monday can be anyway lol. Today I want to share this quickie post going over the new Milani Power Lip Moisturizing Gloss Stains. Milani kicked off 2014 with a huge expansion of lip products. The Power Lip release is made up of Eight, brand new, glossy shades.
Powwr Lip photo DSCN5747_zps8c6b32dd.jpg
The packaging on these resembles the, ever-popular, pencil lip stains. The color of the Tube represents the color of the gloss very accurately. These pretties are equipped with a stiff (ish) brush applicator. I was a bit worried when I noticed that these are the kind of glosses where you twist up to get the product to come out of the brush.
The good news is that each click dispenses a controlled amount. It was good to see that the product does not come gushing out, hence ending up with wasted product. Anyhow, I really like the applicator on these, it really works well with this type of uber pigmented gloss.
Power Lip applicator photo DSCN5762_zps0fd0a9dc.jpg

I love the consistency of these. They are very glossy and moisturizing. To say they are pigmented is an understatement. It takes very little product to achieve an opaque look. For some reason I was expecting these to be a bit more sheer, they are not. These have incredible staying power, they really do live up to their "gloss stain" title.
power lip swatches photo DSCN5782_zpsc7544c94.jpg
Red Control: This shade is an amazing classic, glossy, Ruby Red.
Raspberry Tart: A classic shade of deep Raspberry creamy gloss.
Cabaret Blend- This shade is a classic deep Burgundy- Wine with a slight shimmer.
Pink Lemonade- IDK why this shade is called Pink anything lolol.. It is definitely more of a Watermelon shade. Somewhere between Pink, Orange and Red. That said, it is a GORGEOUS shade!
Macaron: This shade is a perfect shade of warm Pink- Mauve creamy gloss.
Strawberry Sugar: Ok, first thing's first... The formula on this color SUCKS.... It is a shame, the color is really pretty. It is an interesting shade of light, creamy Pink. It is almost White based. It was so streaky, sticky, and hard to get even. It is also a strange color at first, after a while I did grow to like it.
Mango Tango: This shade is the most perfect shade of light, Spring Coral. This color is perfect in every way.
Creamy Cafe: This shade is a wonderful light creamy Brown with a bit of shimmer. It looks really flattering and effortless.

And now.. RANDOM swatches!! Hahaha, these are the pretties I've gotten around to wearing. I did prep my lips with the Milani Anti-feathering clear pencil for these. It made the application very easy. Prepping my lips also created a smooth surface for the color and extended the wear.

Milani Mango Tango

Milani Macaron

Milani Pink Lemonade

Now... this is a weird swatch.... It looked weird from this up close. But, yeah, this was the best I could get it to look. Milani Strawberry Sugar.
So as you can see, even though they are glosses, they are ridiculously pigmented. I really dig these a lot. The colors are so perfect for Spring and Summer. These are available now wherever Milani is sold and retail for $6.49.

Unrelated news: I finally have completed setting up my little corner of polished goodness. I'm so happy to be finally done with that project. It was much more of an ordeal that I thought it would be hahah. But I'm super excited to get to working on some nails.

My faves are Mango Tango, Macaron, Red Control and Creamy Cafe. Are any of these speaking to you?

LTHP Quickies! Milani Lip Intense- Liquid Lip Color for Spring 2014

(**Press Samples**)
Hey hey hey!!!! Humpday treat!

In this quickie I want to go over some of Milani's new product releases for Spring 2014. If you are a fan of all things lips, you want to keep an eye out for these Milani releases. They did a very extensive lip product release for the season that practically has me dancing on one leg. You guys know how much I ADORE Milani products, right? They are, hands-down, my favorite drugstore brand... actually, just one of my fave brands in general.

So, back to lippy stuff.. Milani released a new line of liquid lip colors, the Lip Intense liquid color line. This release consists of Four, full-coverage, liquid lip colors. These babies are intensely pigmented, and very vibrant. Don't be fooled by the "gloss like" packaging, these babies are packed with color!
 photo DSCN5811_zpsfe1083c8.jpg
The packaging is really nice and sleek. Each tube represents the lip color very accurately. These have a flat sponge applicator wand. I've only had a chance to wear one of the shades but I found the application to be very easy. These also have very impressive wear.
 photo DSCN5818_zps8bea053b.jpg
Formula- wise, these are fantastic. They are very even and smooth. The color glides with ease over the lips and feels creamy and moisturizing. They have a really pretty finish as they are not full on glossy, nor matte. These have a beautiful satin finish. As far as a scent, I honestly did not notice much of one. They have a soft cupcake scent that is not very strong, does not linger.
 photo DSCN5834_zpsd064c565.jpg
Red Extreme: beautiful, Blue toned Red.
Pink Rave: amazingly vivid Magenta Pink.
Fiery Coral: fun, vibrant bubblegum Pink with slight Coral undertones.
Violet Addict: this one was the most sheer of the bunch. This shade is dead on for the Pantone color for 2014; Radiant Orchid.

Below you can see Pink Rave in action. I did prep my lip with the new Milani Anti-Feathering lip pencil all over my lips. This created a perfectly smooth and "grippy" surface for my liquid color. 'm pretty sure it may have also extended the wear.
 photo MilaniPinkRave_zpsf9f0abd9.jpg

The Lip Intense line is available now at most Milani retailers as well as online. They retail for $6.49. I'm very impressed with these four shades and highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys a nice, vibrant lip color.

Milani High Speed Fast Dry Shades for Spring 2014

(**Press Sample**)
Happy Thursday!

Today I want to share some swatches of the new Milani High Speed Fast Dry shades. In terms of Milani polishes, the high speed fast dry line is one of my favorites. The colors always have incredible formulas. They also really do dry quickly, and are fantastic for nail art. These three shades are definite wins for me :D!
Mil Spring photo Feb22014_zps9a4fdcc6.jpg

Milani Aqua Brisk- This shade is such an epic win! Aqua Brisk is your quintessential "Baby Blue" creme. The formula on this shade is very impressive. This shade could be one coat, but I did use Two. I am SO madly in love with this shade. I've been wearing this color as a pedi for about Four weeks now and it still looks great.
Milani Aqua Brisk photo DSCN5647_zpsb46fd38f.jpg

Milani Sangria Rush- This shade is a beautiful, red toned Plummy creme shade. As with Aqua Brisk, this shade also has an amazing formula. I used Two coats for my swatch.
Sangria Rush photo DSCN6044_zpsf1814b7f.jpg

Milani Blue Zoom- This shade is such an epic amount of WIN! Blue Zoom is a fantastic shade of light Cobalt Blue. The formula on this shade is slightly crelly and an absolute dream to work with. If you were/are a fan of Revlon's Royal, you will LOVE Blue Zoom. This shade also reminds me a bit of YSL's Blue Majorelle. I used Two coats for my swatch.
Blue Zoom photo DSCN6125_zpsf405c2ce.jpg
I love everything about these polishes. From the flat brush, to the buttery smooth formulations... They are just perfect. These also dry with a high shine and adding a top coat only makes them look even more amazing.

These shades are available now in CVS, Walgreens and Meijer stores as well as online. They retail for $4.99.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Nicole by O.P.I- Carnival Cotton Candy & Goodbye Shoes Broken Lines Nail Art Tutorial

(**Press Sample**)
Happy humpday!

Today I have an odd color combination nail art look for you guys. These two Nicole by O.P.I shades come from the Carrie Underwood Collection. For some reason the odd mix of Cotton Candy Pink and muted smokey Green kept jumping out at me, so I decided to combine them into this quirky look.
NOPI Carnival Cotton Candy & Goodbye Shoes photo DSCN4568_zpsa778a387.jpg
This look started with a base of Carnival Cotton Candy. This shade is a lovely soft Pink with slight Blue undertones. Once my base color was dry I added some "broken line" accents on my middle and ring nails using striping tape and Goodbye Shoes. Goodbye Shoes is a muted shade of smokey, mossy Green. On my pinkie and index nails I did the spun sugar technique. I top coated my striped nails but left the sugar nails as they were to avoid altering the effect.

Here is Carnival Cotton Candy before any nail art was added. I only needed Two easy coats of this color for my swatch. The formula on both of these shades is fantastic and easy to work with.
NOPI Carnival Cotton Candy photo DSCN4522_zps0a4500a1.jpg

And just for shigs, I actually did a mini pictorial on how to achieve the broken lines look with scotch and stripe tape. It is a pretty straight forward process, but if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments ♥.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look and tutorial. Even though it was a weird color combination, it really did something for me. They remind me of vintage decor for some reason.

Thanks for stopping by today!

KBShimmer Spring 2013 Collction Swatches

(**Press Sample**)
Good afternoon lovely people!!!

Today I have a very... VERY delayed post. I feel like a complete tool for getting these out so late. This is the AMAAAAZING Spring 2013 collection by KBShimmer. Worry not, I will be having the KBShimmer Summer Swatches up early next week! I was just saying on LTHP's Facebook how behind I am in my collections. However, I've been feeling well and I'm ready to tackle the mountain of polishes I have to swatch.
Onto this collection, I am so sorry it has taken me this long to get these swatches done and up. I do hope you still enjoy these swatches though! I am just enamored with KBShimmer. Her polishes are perfection in every way. I always look forward to a good KBShimmer swatchathon because they never disappoint.

Pink-ish Wednesday! Ombre Fun with Inglot Colour Play Nail Polishes

(**Inglot Press Samples**)
Happy Humpday!!

It's only been about an Eon since I've done a Pink Wednesday... So, here is a Pink Wednesday post ♥. A few weeks back I received the Inglot  Colour Play pastel range. These babies are perfect for ombre manis, they really take the guess work out of picking your shades. For this look, I also went back to my roots by doing some stamping. I used my Pueen Love Elements nail stamping plate set.
Inglot Ombre Stamped with Pueen photo DSCN5568_zps002535d4.jpg
This look features Inglot Shades, from Thumb to Pinkie: 388, 387, 386, 385 and 384. For the stamping I used Konad Black Special polish and Pueen stamping plates Pueen 32 on my Middle and Ring finger and Thumb. For my Pinkie and Index nails I used Pueen 28. To finish my nails off I did a coat of Seche Vite followed by a light coat of IN Northern Lights.

Here are my base colors before stamping and top coating. 388 is a clean, light Lilac purple creme. 387 is an aweome Blue toned bubblegum Pink creme. 386 is a muted Violet- Mauve creme. 385 is a light Pink- toned Mauve creme. 384 is a beautiful muted Coral creme. All of these polishes have a slight flash of smooth complimenting shimmer. You can see the Golden shimmer in the bottle photo above. That said, the shimmer does not really translate to the nails, but it does aid in appication. All of these were really easy to apply and all did well in Three, thin and easy coats.
Inglot Ombre photo DSCN5542_zps316d620a.jpg
I miss stamping so much. But at the same time, I'm pretty excited because I have all of these awesome Pueen plates that I have not really gotten to play with yet. So I have those to look forward to :D. I have been terrible about keeping up with plates honestly, if you guys know of any sets I may have missed out on, or new brands, share them in the comments!!

So, I am LOOOVING these Inglot Colour Play range. I love them so much, they have even earned a spot on my wall racks. These are great for nail art of all kinds and I just love the formulas and beautiful shades.

Thanks for stopping by darlings!

Inglot Spring Pastels 2013- Watermarble Nail Art

(**Press Sample**)
Happy Humpday!!

I am at such a loss of words today :-S. So much has happened over the last few days that I don't even know where to start. There has been some utter, horrid nonsense going on; Muffin's been sick, I've been sick, husband got laid off.. It was hectic for a few weeks, but hings are settling down now.
Among all the madness some really awesome things happened too. If you pick you the latest issue of Nail It! magazine, you will see a picture of a manicure by yours truly featured in the Snapshots section. It is SO cool to see my nails and name on an actual magazine! That had been one of my goals for some time now.
Anywho, these are my very first Inglot polishes, and I can honestly say I am a fan. They released a range of 10 pastel shades for Spring 2013 Ranging from Yellow-toned Peach, to Aqua Blue; these colors were begging to be played with. I immediately knew I wanted to do a marble-skittle of sorts with these. These Inglot polishes have a great formula for watermarbles, great pigmentation a really good spread in the water.
 photo DSCN5480_zpsabb72828.jpg
For this look I started with a White base done with Cult Nails Tempest. For the Pinkie and Index marbles I used Inglot 381(Orange toned peach), 390(Vivid Mint Pastel) and 383(Orange toned Coral). For my Ring and Middle nail I used 382(Yellow toned Peach), 387(Soft Lavender-Pink) and 389(Aqua Blue). All of these Inglot polishes have a creamy formula. I'm not sure if it was just me, but I was detecting the slightest hint of shimmer, so barely there it is not really worth mentioning. I think it definitely aids in the application.
To finish off my look I top coated my Pinkie an Index nails in my signature sparkling INM Northern Lights, followed by a coat of Cult Nails Wax That, wax finish top coat. To cover some bubbles I got on my Middle and Ring finger I did a light coat of Lynnderella Connect the Dots, followed by Cult Nails Wicked Fast to give the glitter a high shine.

I am loving the contrast of  colors in these marbles, and I really love the completed look. I am also loving what CtD did for my bubbly nails. Overall, I am so happy with how this turned out. I don't marble enough for how much I love the look of the technique. And you know what they say, practice makes perfect. I feel my confidence in my marbling grow with each marble mani I do. They are becoming more fun now that I am getting a good grasp. I think I finally feel comfortable about filming a tutorial about the way I marble.

How do you feel about watermarbled nails? Also, would you guys be interested in a tutorial? Let me know in the comments ♥.

Zoya PixieDust Nyx and Vespa and a PixieDust Recap

(**Press Sample**)
Hi loves and happy Friday!!

Today I am showing you my last PixieDust combo as well as recapping the other combinations I wore with these pretties. My final combination was a simple alternating color mani with Nyx and Vespa. Once again I was completely blown away by the wear on these polishes and how beautiful and sparkly they are.
Zoya Nyx is a lovely Cornflower Blue texture packed with lovely Silver shimmer and glitter. This shade does best in Three easy coats. I also advice waiting a bit between coats to make sure the textured bits do not clump together. Vespa is a really delicate Sage green with that same beautiful Silver Sparkle. Both of these colors are really flattering and easy on the eyes. I wore these babies for about Five days and had very minimal chips.

Now, Zoya has been, in a way, called out by their fans for going a little photoshop- happy with the Summer PixieDust promo pics. And I kinda get it lolol. I mean they were obviously re-touched with the cute added starry sparkles and whatnot... We know they are sparkly, faeries, there is no need to resort to over photoshopping. That would be like taking a picture of an already beautiful model and trying to shop her to make her "even prettier"... Generally it ends up taking away. So, I took a blurry pic to show just how sparkly these are. And the answer is: INTENSELY sparkly. The best part is that the sparkle seems to float over the textured surface and the "encrusted" sparkles give it this cool precious stone look. But no pic will ever do these true justice.. Just try one out. I promise, it will be LOVE at first try.

I won't go into detail about these combos since they have been previously shown. But I will go ahead and link the original post in case you have any questions. Below are London and Chyna.

And here are Dahlia and Godiva.
After trying all these, I am very giddy to try the new Summer PixieDusts. Zoya did an amazing job on these colors and the sparkly finish that they chose. I will be honest, I wanted to hate this textured trend... but I don't. I really am loving it a lot and I really like all the different takes from all the different companies. I have to say though, Zoya's are, by far, my favorite! From this group in particular I really adore Chyna, Godiva and  Vespa.
I know I've said it a lot but the wear on these is AMAZING!!! These are also sheer enough that they can be layered over other colors, or eachother, to create really cool effects. I am really excited to see the vivid Summer shades. These are just AMAZING. They apply like a dream, they dry fast enough and are just beautiful. Textured nails have become my new weekend thing because I know they will always wear like iron and start lots of conversations :D.

Do you have a favorite shade from this collection? And if so how did you rock your PixieDusts?

Zoya PixieDust in Chyna and London

(**Zoya products provided for review consideration.**)

Good morning and happy humpday!!

Today I have my second PixieDust combination. This past weekend I chose to wear Zoya's Chyna and London(Grey) together. I put these on last Friday and wore them until Monday. Much like Godiva and Dahlia, the wear on these was incredible! I had minimal chips on my nails after Four days of rough wear.
Both London and Chyna have AMAZING formulas. Chyna is incredibly saturated with color and deep Ruby Red glittery, sparkly goodness. I've seen many girls describe it as a textured Ruby Slippers (pick one lol... there are so many versions) and I completely agree. It is just beautiful, rich and complex. I did Three thin coats of Chyna.
London is a slightly sheer concrete Grey base, but it builds up easily in Three coats. London is packed with fine Silver sparkle and as it dries the sparkle becomes more obvious. With all of these textured polishes, it is best to wait a few minutes between coats. This picture was taken 45 minutes after application. As you can see they are already, pretty much, dry here. They did continue to harden and become more textured looking.

I really loved these Two together. Chyna is in-your-face beautiful and London is painfully chic and edgy. Once again I am adoring what Zoya has done with the textured polish trend. I don't think I can pick a favorite from this PixieDust collection. They are all so pretty in their own special way.

Do you have a favorite textured polish yet? Or is this trend just not for you?

Milani Textured Polish Skittles

Happy Humpday!!

A quick update on my whereabouts.... It has been a few bad days for me. I was in the hospital again on Monday after a few days of feeling "off". I was just at the doctors again today and there are a few tests they want to run on me before moving forward with new medications. It has been a rough few weeks for me and I'm finding myself feeling more and more run-down by the day. It kinda sucks pretty hard. I miss getting into my grooves and swatching and arting like a crazy person.
So now that you guys are all caught up on the icky stuff, how bout some AWESOME nail polishes? By now I'm sure you guys have seen a few posts featuring these awesome new textured polishes by Milani. I will admit that I was not on board with this textured trend until I tried these! I love the vivid shades and the texture is actually really cool and not as distracting as I thought it would be.
I decided to do skittles with my textured polishes because all the colors were so awesome I couldn't pick just one. The ony one not shown is Shady Gray, which is a really chich shade of Concrete Grey. For this skittle look I used (from Thumb to Pinkie):
Tainted in Red: A bright, neon Red creme with added texture. This shade could have been a one coater.
Yellow Mark: This shade is an uber saturated shade of Yellow creme with the added texture. This shade had, by far, the most saturated formula. Could have definitely been one coat.
Aqua Splash: A beautiful shade of vivid, light Teal creme  with added texture. This shade is a little sheer as it goes on but it dries slightly darker that it applies. I used Two easy coats.
Purple Streak: A true, grape Purple creme with added texture. This shade was slightly patchy in application, but not problematic. I used Two coats.
Spoiled in Fuchsia: This shade is a bright shade of Fuchsia creme with the added texture. This shade also had a very saturated formula.

I was SO impressed with the formula on all of these. They all applied so easily. Most of these also have really saturated formulas that could almost be one coat. I used Two coats for all of my swatches. In the photo above I had waited about 20 minutes before photographing. As you can see there is still a bit of shine but at that point they were pretty much dry and good to go. All in all they took about an hour to reach that neat matte look but they were good to go in about 20 minutes.
In the instagram photo below I had already been wearing the polishes for over 24 hours and the texture had fully dried and set. The look of these is SOOO neat!! These do not sparkle at all, they have an almost concrete/ leathery look once they are fully dry.
These polishes wore like IRON on me. As a matter of fact I am still wearing remains today, Five days later. I am very impressed with every single aspect of these polishes and seriously LOVE them.
These pretties are available online but will also be in stores soon!! I really can't wait to try my hand at some nail art looks with these as well as that awesome Grey texture!! Do you have any favorites in this bunch? I seriously cannot pick!! I love them all SO much. I had not been this excited about a nail polish innovation since back when Holos came out!

As of right now I am not sure when I will be posting again. Worry not!! This is not a hiatus or anything!! Along with all the doctors visits and what not I'm also having some work done to my computer, stuff that is really overdue, so that will put me out for a few days (but hopefully not DAYS).

But, I know you guys understand that health really does come first. ANNNNDD the sooner I am better and stable the sooner I can get back to producing awesome content for you guys (and myself :). Love you and miss you guys very much!! Your support means SO much to me!

China Glaze Avant Garden Collection Swatches- Part One

Hello!!

Yesterday I held a little "poll" on Facebook to see what you guys wanted to see today and ya'll voted for the China Glaze Avant Garden swatches. This post will focus on Six of the Avant Garden Shades (and yes, I will be sharing the other six shades :).
China Glaze did a beautiful job with this collection. All the colors are definitely Spring-perfect and they all compliment each other. There is a nice range of shades in this 12 piece collection.

Spring Rolls Jelly Sammiches!

Hello my beauties and happy Friday!!

Today I have a quick post for you guys featuring some yummy glitter-jelly sammiches. While I was swatching my China Glaze Bitz 'n' Pieces Collection I figured it would be fun to see them sandwiched as well.
I won't be going into huge detail about each look since these are simple jelly sammiches. This is still one of my favorite methods to spice up a plain manicure. I will break down the polishes used from base color to top color to keep things easy haha!

China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, Bling it On- Sammiched with O.P.I Care to Danse?

China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around, Mosaic Madness- Sammiched with O.P.I Don't touch my Tutu

China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On, Graffiti Glitter- Sammiched with O.P.I Don't touch my Tutu

China Glaze Fade into Hue, Glitz 'n'n PIeces- Sammiched with O.P.I My Pointe Exactly
If you are a lover of the jelly sandwich look you will definitely love the Bitz 'n ' Pieces Collection by China Glaze! Also, I really want O.P.I (or anyone) to release more jellies a'la O.P.I NYC Ballet Collection. Those were, and still are, some of my favorite polishes ever.

For some strange reason I am SO very reado for the weekend to start!! Maybe I should rock a jelly sammich to get it started right!!
