Bettina Resort Collection Colorful Watermarble and my First You Tube Video!!

Hi loves!!

Today I have an awesome watermarble I did using all of my colors in the Bettina Resort Collection. I really just love all of these colors soo much and I needed an excuse to wear them all at one time.. What better way to do so than with a watermarble? This mani is so going in my Epic Win label. Also I have some exciting news!! I now have a You Tube Chanel. I have not loaded anything yet but be on the look out for some vids!
As my base I used one coat of Bettina's Marshmallow. And as I said for the marbling I used all six colors in the Resort Collection which I have pictured and labeled below. I love my Bettinas for marbling. They are just perfect for this technique. After I was done with everything I added one coat of INM Northern Lights top coat for some extra sparkle!

And Just a reminder for Bettina purchases!!! Lovelies wanting information on pricing, shipping and purchasing Bettina polishes please shoot an email to janetmrosado@gmail.com (Rosama Distributors-authorized distributors Bettina cosmetics)

Here is my very first You Tube Vid!
And another reminder: I am in no way affiliated with Bettina. I do not get paid to do these posts of feature their products. They are just a brand that I love and the people of Bettina are fond of my work. I'm sorry to those of you who have emailed and not heard back but I don't really have any control over what they do and how long it takes them to respond to emails. My only advice is to keep emailing them if you have gotten in touch and have not heard back... They could be dealing with a large volume of emails and you never know of something slipped through the cracks. I only take it upon myself to share the information on how to purchase because I get asked every single post.

Anywho, I hope you all enjoyed this post. It was so much fun to work on. Have you entered my giveaway yet?

Pink Wednesday!! Bettina Pinks Watermarble

Hi loves!!

Today I have another Special Pink Wednesday! A watermarble!!!! I don't feature many of these on my own blog because well.. The technique and I didn't always get along. Well with my recent success with [THIS] water marble I did for the lovely Kellie... Let's just say I've gotten cocky about my marbling "skills" lool.... Just kidding... But I really wanted to do one for my own readers. What better day to feature a marble than Pink Wednesday?! I may just go on a water marbling kick...
What is a Pink Wednesday without some sparkle! This is the lovely INM Northern Lights Hologram top coat.

For this water marble I started with a base of Cotton Candy, which I am holding in the picture above. Bettina polishes are the best I have tried for water marbling. They spread perfectly, they don't dry too fast or too slow and they are so pigmented that the color remains true even when marbling.

Here are all the colors I used.

And here is a swatch of Cotton Candy. This is easily one of my very favorite Pinks. I know I say that a lot but this one is really special to me. I love everything about this color, especially the formula. This baby is an easy two coater and the color is perfectly opaque and smooth.
And Just a reminder for Bettina purchases!!! Lovelies wanting information on pricing, shipping and purchasing Bettina polishes please shoot an email to janetmrosado@gmail.com (Rosama Distributors-authorized distributors Bettina cosmetics).

This has to be one of my favorite Pink Wednesday manis in some time. If only because I marbled for you guys!

Muffin Monday!! O.P.I Mod About You Tronica Watermarble!

Get it, get it?... Yep, it's a Monday lol

Today Muffin chose for me O.P.I Mod about You. I really really love this color a lot. This Monday I was feeling adventurous and decided to watermarble as I really loved my base color and I get to wear this mani all week long, for once! I get to go with my hubby on a little "working-vacation". Fret Not! I scheduled some posts for my lovelies so it doesn't get too lonely around here :). Onto the awesomeness!

Mod About You is an awesome light Cotton Candy Pink creme that I just laalalove! The formula on this is a bit streaky so I needed Three coats to get it to even out and be fully opaque. This doesn't bother me much because I love this color so very much.
And because it turned out pretty and I actually managed to do all 10 nails I decided to post this terrible picture of my right hand (I cannot take a good picture with my left hand lol)

For the watermarbling I used: CG Virtual Violet, CG Electra Magenta and OPI Mod About You. I  have been seeing a lot of watermarbles using the colors from the CG Tronica collection and just absolutely loving them! I wanted to do something a little different an incorporate a creme in the marble to break up the Holographic sparkle and make it pop. I suggest clicking on the Sunlight Pictures to see better detail of the amazing holographic sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by :),

Funkeh Watermarble 1960's Inspired

For lack of a better description...

I'm on the fence about this one.. What do you guys think? Water marbling just isn't my thing lol... It takes too much... Too much time, patience, polish, clean-up, tape.. etc loool... I love it when other people do really artsy things with this technique but this is absolutely not my forte haha. OH! If you have not yet done so, check out my 500 follower giveaway on the right hand side bar!

And here is a swatch of my original base color. China Glaze White on White. Maybe I should've stopped here lol!
I <3<3<3 White nails!!! IDK why but I do!
I think I like it. I definitely like the color combo a lot. I love the bold Orange. My favorite nail is the index, it turned out so pretty.

Thoughts on this one lovelies?

Muffin Monday!! Zoya Caitlin Watermarble (pic heavy)

Muffin is too mesmerized by our new lamp to pick something for me this week...

Instead I'll just show you the fantastic Caitlin from Zoya's Intimate Collection.
She's made this her new spot....
And she is also too busy hazing (don't you just love LOLkittehs?) a comfy in her new spot in my polish room. Yes, I put a soft blanket down for her to see if she would lay in there and sure enough lol.... Now whenever I go in the room to do my nails she lays in her little cubby and keeps me company.

Now onto Caitlin.

Caitlin is the darker of the Two Greys in the Intimate Collection. Words cannot express my love for Caitlin and Dove. So, Caitlin is a medium Grey with slight Purple tones in it. You could say that this is like Zoya Kelly's lighter sister. This polish applies beautifully and could be a one coater, I used Two. Absolutely flattering and painfully chic... What can I say, everyone needs this color and Zoya sure knows how to make beautiful Grey cremes.

Behold! My first ever successful watermarble! I've tried marbling before but I've never been happy with the results. This, however, I am really really happy with and my success with this mani has made me want to keep practicing this technique because the finished product is always so cool. For the marbling I used Zoya's Caitlin, Marley, Kelly & Malia.

Happy Black Friday! Color Club Holo Madness!

I totally didn't go shopping... I just cannot handle the madness

But I can handle some madness on my nails... I decided to go for some holographic water marbling... I don't know why I keep subjecting myself to this technique. Every time I think "This will be the time I get it down" but I'm never pleased with the process or the results. I just don't have the patience I guess. These I'm not totally mad at.

Color Club Worth the Risuqe and Revvvolution
Revvvolution Base on Every Finger except Ring Finger.
Worth The Risque Base on Ring Finger
Artificial Light Plus flash. There is no Sun today :(
Looks like Granite.
This was my first time using Color Club polish and I really loved it. "Revvvolution" is a very very dark Graphite Grey holographic (It is almost Black, but not quite). It is so pretty. I've yet to see in in Sunlight but even indoors I can see a pretty holographic flash. This is a true one coater. The formula is excellent and dries fairly fast and shiny. "Worth the Risque" is a Silver holographic. For this one I needed two coats, once again the formula was perfection. For the marbling I used the same Two colors. I didn't even do my Right hand haha. I was hoping to see the polish in Sunlight and take pictures but no such luck :(.

So did any of you ladies work up the courage to go shopping the sales this A.M?

Thanks for Reading :)

Orly Blue Collar

I'm loving Orly more and more...

I cant properly describe why, but their cremes are so easy to apply and they dry to a very high shine and very smooth. I've yet to have a bad application experience with Orly polishes. It's just lovely. For this manicure I used a happy blue creme shade that just made my day.

Orly: Blue Collar
Artificial Light w/o Flash
Indoors w/o Flash
This is a lovely sky blue that like I said before applies like a dream. Two quick, effortless coats later, I had a flawless, shiny and beautiful mani. They were so smooth and shiny they looked like plastic. I decided to add some marbling to my ring finger which I painted with a white base. Seche Vite as a top coat. I love how the look turned out and got lots of compliments on this mani.

Marbling Take Two

I just couldn't leave this alone guys lol!

Sorry I haven't posted in a little while :(. So after my failed attempt I decided I just had to give it another shot. They turned out a lot better this time and I didn't have so many issues this time :)! So here we go!

Left Hand
Right Hand, Ring finger Wrinkled :(
Left Thumb
Right Thumb
I used the same colors as last time because I found that out of all my polishes China Glaze worked really well for marbling and these colors had the best contrast. I don't have a whole lot else to say because this was an experiment that I was expecting to not go too well lol. I really liked the results though and will be trying this technique again because the results are so cool and unique each time.

Thanks for reading :).

Marbling Fail

Hello,

So for some reason beyond me... I decided to try water marbling on my nails. This was my first water marbling experience and it could be my last. Well maybe full manicure wise, I don't think I could do this again for all 10 of my nails. I'm sure everyone has a hard time with their first marble mani but this was just a bit too "everything" for me. Too time consuming, too messy and I feel like a lot of product was wasted. Needless to say after all the frustration I just bit the bullet and finished all my nails with lackluster results. I'm not sure how long I'll wear this for .. Without further delay I present to you my crappy manicure :) lol.

So yeah, I don't have much to say about this because I pretty much hate how it turned out lol... Oh well it was worth a try :). I think I'll use this technique again, just not on all my nails. For the marbling I used all China Glaze colors (listed below) layered over a white base so the colors would pop and it was all topped off with two coats of Seche Vite. If you'd like to see how to do this you can watch this video posted by one of the bloggers I follow. Also if you'd like to see how awesome this technique can really be you can also check out her blog here.

Thanks for reading :)
