Who doesn't love Pac Man?

Inspiration comes in weird places sometimes...

So the Hubs and I were at Michael's (Arts and Crafts store) looking for some candle wicks and I spotted these little wiggly eyes and I just had to have them for some reason... Then my hubby and I started joking about Pac Man nails and this is what happened... Our inner nerds were running rampant today and the second the idea came up I just had to give it a try....

I literally cannot look at my hands without getting the giggles. I loove the googly eyes. My Pac Man kinda looks like a Goldfish... You know, like the crackers? But you all get what I was trying to go for right? I know it's been done before but this is my take on the awesome Pac Man inspired mani :).

Where are the Pac Man fans at?

O.P.I What's with the Catitude?

I am so obsessed with this manicure...

It's not even funny! I love this look! I had been lusting after What's with the Catitude for quite some time and could not find it anywhere. I stumbled upon it in a dusty bin at a Regis Salon along with Wing It!... It was a good day.
I love this Blue so much!! It is a true Sky Blue creme that is sooo soothing and flattering. The formula on this one is a bit streaky and milky so I had to be patient with application. I needed Three coats to get full coverage and evenness. I'm so happy to have this in my collection! And how cute did the accents turn out? I just used Blue and Purple glitter Stripe Rites and some patience haha. It was really easy and kind of fun to do. I was tempted to do all 10 nails but I really love my base color and wanted to show it more. If you love soft Blues this must be a part of your collection. Epic WIN in my opinion :).

Yay Blue!!!

China Glaze Turned up Turquiose + Black Diamond

Hubby's Choice!

I was feeling so very uninspired so I asked my hubby to pick me a color or some colors to do something with... He came back with a pretty bad ass combo and this is what I came up with.
Turned up Turquoise is exactly just that! Practically neon but with a beautiful micro shimmer that makes the color seem like it could glow in the dark. The formula is very opaque and smooth. I only needed Two coats of Turned up Turquoise for my mani. This shade dries matte but once I added a coat of Seche Vite it made the color look like beach water. This shade is a lot Greener than my pictures show but my camera was freaking out at this color a little. Black Diamond is just amazing! It's an almost Black shimmer that is so edgy and beautiful. Even though I didn't officially swatch this color I can tell the formula is great and has great coverage as you can see. Turned up Turquoise doesn't even peek through Black Diamond. I really love this mani and this color combo. I'm a big fan of edgy and not necessarily girly looks.

What are your favorite kinds of manis?

Me Encanta tu Blog Award

Hello Darlings,

I have received this award from the lovely Erin over at Persistently Polished. Along with the Stylish Blogger Award and the Blog with Substance award. Thank you soo much Erin!

1. Why did you create the blog?
It was actually the suggestion of my wonderful husband after I had started collecting nail polish and posting the pictures on my personal Facebook. One day I ventured over to blogger and decided to take the plunge.

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
It's mostly other nail related blogs. Some are fashion blogs and some are make- up blogs.

3. Do you have a favourite make-up brand?
Not particularly. I really like Bare Escentuals mineral foundation. This stuff really does make you look flawless but it never looks like I have make up on at all. My complexion is not very good either so trust me when I tell you this stuff is magical.

4. And a favourite clothing brand?
I really like American Eagle. Their stuff is always so cute without being super trendy and obnoxious. I like Aeropostale for layering pieces like tanks and Cami's and Charlotte- Russe for Cardigans and such. Looove Pac Sun Skinny jeans. It's like they were made for me.

5. What make-up products are essential for you?
Mineral Veil, Mascara, Nude Lip Gloss, Eyeliner

6. What’s your favourite colour?
Green everythinginbetween, Blue everythinginbetween, Purple. haha I love color way to much to chose just one.

7. What’s your favourite perfume?
I'm going to just say it. Hands down it has to be Chance by Chanel

8. What’s the film you liked the most?
For some reason I really love Garden State. The characters in that movie are very relatable to me. And I really looooooved Black Swan.

9. What countries would you like to go?
OMG EVERYWHERE! My husband and I want to go to sooo many places I can't even sit here and list them all. But we really want to travel and see the world.

Thanks for stopping by :),
Cristina
