Trying Something New with Orly Witch's Blue and Orly Blue Belle- I need your HALP!

Hi loves!!!

I need your helpful opinion once again!! I was playing around when I was taking pics the other day and I really liked how this angle was looking. I really like that I can get in close and really show the detail in the polish but all my nails are lit evenly. What do you guys think? Do you like these pictures?  See the thing is that the other angle pics are so narrow that it would look funny to have both pictures. I have some serious blog OCD... I really love how these look. I also like that my super nub is less distracting from this angle. What do you guys think? Please let me know in the comments!! Should I do both angles? Could you guys live with this style for a little while? Should I just stick to what I have going on with the straight on shot? If i try it for some time will you guys be ok with it? It really does look pretty when I'm holding normal sized bottles.
Witch's Blue. This is the most beautiful shade of Navy Blue shimmer. This color has a fantastic formula. I almost could have done with one coat. Here I have it pictured with Two coats and no top coat. I picked this up in a little Ulta haul I did recently. This is so elegant and just pretty. The Blue lover in me just can't get enough of this color.

Blue Belle. This is so interesting and angelic. This one is a soft icy Blue shimmer with a semi sheer formula. I really love this. It's like they took the shimmer out of Hard Candy's Sky and made it into it's own polish. Here I have Three coats of Blue Belle.

Blue polish makes me happy... So guys!! Photos: Yay or Nay? Do you like these or go back to the old style? Will you guys be ok if I try something new? Let me Know :) Have you checked out my giveaway yet?

O.P.I Glam Slam U.S Duo

Hi loves!!!

Today I have the final duo in the O.P.I Glam Slam Series. This duo was released just in time for the U.S Open. I have to say.. they saved the best for last. This duo is just the bomb and if I was to recommend one of the duos to anyone it would have to be this one. These have brought the sparkle that I was needing in my life after swatching all of the Fall collections. I'm so sorry I have to show you guys these beauties on my nubs of misfortune but I just had to wear these!!
Ughhh!!! Just Ughh!!!! Soo pretty!! And BOLD. These are not for the faint of fingernail....

Love is a Racket. OMG RED! This one is a super saturated Red jelly base packed full of Red shimmers. There is also a flash of warm Gold and soft Pink in there which brightens the Red shade quite a bit. When I first saw this I thought it was a dupe of Nicole by O.P.I I love you Cherry Much but Love is a Racket is a few shades lighter, much brighter and much more in-your-face. For this I used Three coats of color to really give it some dimension. Definite must have.

Pros & Bronze is the most spectacular mix of light Bronze, Pink and Gold micro glitter that creates the most stunning foil effect. This is just amazing and so different from anything I've ever seen. It's bright and perfect for any season really. This had a great formula and builds up nicely at Three coats.

I LOVE these. I've liked the other duos but my favorite ones have got to be this duo and the England duo. I mean just look at these colors! they are so different and vibrant and sparkly!! Yay for sparkles and yay for no more shatter!! These are total must haves!! These are already out and available. I saw them recently at Ulta.

What do you think? Aren't these the best? Also, don't forget to check out my giveaway.

One Year Blog-a-versary nails with O.P.I Mad as a Hatter!!

Hiiiii!!!!!

I'm giddy!! Today is my little blog-baby's birthday!! I really cannot believe how fast this day got here. I really don't have a big sappy speech prepared. I'm just happy to be here with you guys today celebrating and having a good ol' time. I never thought that this blog would have grown as much as it has in just a year but I am so happy and honored/flattered that people are interested in what I am doing. I'm really happy to be a part of this, very talented, community that is full of some of the nicest people I've ever "met. :) My readers rock, my blog friends rock and LTHP rocks!! I hope to keep doing this for a very long time.

So in honor of my very first post One year ago today.... I decided to feature Mad as a Hatter by O.P.I. It's funny... I had intentional nubs then... And just yesterday while I was working on this post I broke my Ring nail loool.. We all know about this color so I wont go into huge detail about it. But basically it is one of the most amazing glitters ever made and everyone should have bought it when it was released because now it's really expensive and HTF lol. I have my amazing husband to thank for my full Alice in Wonderland Set which I treasure because that collection was my first serious case of the "lemmings". I had some epic nails in mind and then my Ring finger decided to break so I was left with nubbins. I still wanted to do something cute and here is what I ended up with... Birthday Cupcakes!!!!!!!!
The Pink I'm wearing is Pink Flamenco. All of the colors used are O.P.I. The ring finger is, of course, MAAH. For the cupcakes I used plate BM14. For the stripes on my pinky I used Konad plate M65. The dots on the cupcakes were done with Dim Sum Plum, No Room for the Blues, Jade is the New Black and Funky Dunkey.

Here is a swatch of Mad as a Hatter in all it's glittery glory.

This here is what I had started with but the blue just wasn't speaking to me. I needed something brighter and happier. The blue I'm wearing here is Suzi says Feng Shui.
Now for the fun part.... Keep checking back for a giveaway being posted later today!! I really hope you guys like what I put together <3.

Happy b-day to LTHP!!! And here is to many more blog-a-versaries!!
