ManGlaze Mayonnaise

Hi again loves!!

I decided to dedicate a post to this color because I had several pics of it and I had not work it since December of last year. This is One of my Two ManGlaze's and I freaking love it. This is one of the most unique polishes in my collection and let me show you why...
So in these pics I have it in its original Matte form. Mayonnaise is a clean White matte creme but it's not chalky because.. You see... The genius behind this polish threw some micro pearly shimmer in the formula (which doesn't really show in my pics) that is absolutely to die for in person. The formula on this color is super easy to work with and you can almost get away with just one coat. The wear on these is absolutely ridic! For the pics I have Two coats of Mayo.

And here we have it with a coat of Seche Vite on top. This is just amazing!!! I couldn't be happier to have this on my nails once again.
Thanks for stopping by (again? lol) .. I love you guys!!

31 Day Challenge! Day 12- Striped Nails

Hi guys!!

So while working on today's challenge I learned a valuable lesson: Don't work on your nails when you are hungry. I really rushed on these and I like them but they could have been so much better if I had taken my time. All I could think of was stuffing my face hole.... The fact that I'm no striping wiz doesn't help either lol... But, that being said... These look pretty cool from far away...
So for this look I started with Two coats of ManGlaze Mayonnaise. That gets its own post because I have several pics of it and I I haven't worn it in soooo long! Ok.. so back to the look. After painting my base I freehanded a wide stripe of Zoya's Dana down the center of my nails. For finishing touches I used Stripe Rite stripers from Sally's in Silver Glitter and Black Glitter. I finished the whole thing off with Two coats of Seche Vite because the Stripe Rites are hungry glitters.

Ok, so I'll be back later with a Mayo post and don't  forget to check out Sam and Rie's blogs to see their Striped nails!

Thanks for stopping by :D,

O.P.I Designer Series Fall 2011 Swatches

Good afternoon loves!!

I know I've been posting like crazy lately but I have so many goodies still to show you while in the midst of the 31 day challenge. I couldn't wait to post these!
This is the amazing DS Temptation. Ok where do I start? There is so much going on in this polish.. It's just mind blowing! Ok, so this polish consists of Micro Purple glitter, Chunky Purple, Silver and Blue iridescent glitter all packed in a Burple jelly base. I really wish I had Sunlight pics of this beauty but the apocalypse was hovering over Florida and the Sun was nowhere to be seen :(. This is a Three coater and a little gritty but nothing some Seche can't handle. I'm madly in love with this glitter.

Purple glitter FTW!!!

And this is DS Bold. This one is much simpler than Temptation. This color consists of Silver and Pink glitter packed in a light Red jelly base. If it looks familiar, it's because this is a dead on dupe of China Glaze's Mrs. Claus from last years Holiday collection. This color is a Three coater and like Temptation it is also a little gritty, but not terrible and beautiful non the less.

These are beautiful additions to the Designer Series and everyone absolutely NEEDS to add DS Temptation to their arsenal!

Thanks for stopping by!!

31 Day Challenge! Day 11- Polka Dot Nails

Hi loves!!

Welcome to day 11 of the challenge. Today's task is such a fun one... Polka Dots!! I LOOVE Polka dots. Polka dots is another one of those techniques that are quick and easy but can give you such fun and cool results. I decided to take today's look in a festive direction :D. I'm not like huge on Halloween (I don't have kids and I'm not a big party person) but I really like how this mani turned out.
For this simple look I started with a base of Bettina Onix(Black) and Starfish(Orange). For my Ring anf Middle finger I used the smallest dotting tool I have from my Born Pretty Store set. For the dots on my Index and Pinkie finger I used an average sized dotting tool. For the dots of Starfish over Onix I went over the Orange dots twice to make sure that the color would really pop once I added a top coat. I really actually like this cute look. I'm all about the dotting lately! :D:D

Here is a picture of my base colors. They are both two coaters and they both dry fast and super shiny. Starfish is probably my favorite Orange in my collection. It's probably the brightest, happiest, truest Orange creme I have. Onix is a great Black creme. It applies super smooth and even.
Well this was fun!! I'm scared for tomorrow's challenge! Stripes.. Yikes.... Don't forget to check out Sam and Rie's blogs to see their Polka Dot nails!
