Zoya Irresistible Summer Ombre- Stamped Nail Art

(**Press Samples**)
Good morning and happy Thursday!

Today I have a pretty, Summery look featuring shades from Zoya's Irresistible Summer collection. The Irresistible collection is the shimmery half of Zoya's Summer releases. The set features Four warm shades and Two cool tones (which I will be featuring in a look soon). For this look I used the Four warm shades in a stamped ombre look. I couldn't bring myself to just swatch these beauties. I wanted t have some fun with them and bring them together, an ombre mani seemed like the perfect way to combine these gilded pretties.

This look started with bases of (from index to pinkie) Bobbi, Tinsley, Amy and Kerry. I am always in awe of Zoya's ability to make beautiful, outstanding shimmering shades. I accented my bases by doing some stamping with Pueen plate Pueen49 and KOnad Black special polish. I love how the finished look is a little bit like Christmas in July :D. Something about these remind me of ornaments and I just LOVE em!! All topped off with some KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

All of these shades have AMAZING formulas. I used Three thin coats of each color to achieve a really rich, shimmering effect. I needed no clean up. There is nothing I can say about these that the photo has not already said for me, I am just in AWE. I could never pick a favorite from these Four because they are all as stunning as the next. They all seem to glow from within, that is such a Zoya signature. I must say though.. Amy(Orange) and Kerry(Yellow) are really something SPECIAL!

Have a wonderful day my loves!! Now go forth and be fierce!

Pink Wednesday! Zoya Micky Splatter

(**Press Samples**)
Happy Pink Humpday!

I just watched Mean Girls for the 12,873th time yesterday. And it reminded it that I had not done a Pink Wednesday in some time. Not a whole lot of us still do Pink Wednesday, but I like keeping the tradition alive now and then ahaha.... So you better be wearing Pink, or you can't sit with me..

I went with a splattered look since I had not done one in a while. I started with a base of Zoya's Micky. I wanted to do a cute, edgy mix of colors so I did my splatters with Zoya Rocky and Josie. To really set off the splatter I added a bit of Black with Zoya Raven. I always forget how much fun splatters are. I topped off the entire look with a coat of Seche Vite.

Micky comes from the Summer Stunning collection. This beauty is a gorgeous shade of vivid Coral-y Pink. It practically borders on neon and it has a lovely, subtle pearly shimmer. The formula on this shade is a dream, as most Zoyas are. I used Three thin coats for my base and ran into no issues with application.

Thanks for stopping by today darlings! Now, go put on some PINK!!!

Truffle Tuesdays! Bettina Mandarin- Nail Art and Swatch

(**Press Samples**)
Good evening and happy Truffle Tuesday!

Today Truffle picked me an awesome shade of juicy, shimmering Orange. She completely threw me off by not picking me a shade of Blue haha. That said, I am IN LOOOOVE with the finished look. The shade Truffle picked for me inspired a tropical color-blocked mani. This was my first official color-blocked mani, and I had a lot of fun working on it.

The base color is Truffle's pick, Bettina Mandarin. I really wanted to do something really Summery so I accented my base color with some color-blocking done with Bettina Kiwi (Chartreuse) and Fruit Punch (Magenta). All these shades are creamy shimmers so the finished look was super flashy, colorful and juicy-looking.
I didn't really set out with a plan, I just kind of placed the strips of thin tape randomly on each nail and painted the gaps with a fine brush and my selected colors. I finished the look off with Two coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top top coat to smooth out the seams and bring out shine.

I choose YOU!

Mandarin is a spectacular shade of vivid mandarin Orange creme with a very strong Orange-Golden micro shimmer. I absolutely LOOOOVE this shade and the shimmery finish. The formula on this shade is PERFECT. Bettina has never disappointed me with their formulations. I seriously cannot get enough of these creamy shimmers, they seem to glow. I used Three thin coats for my base.

Truffle sends her love and hopes you enjoyed her pick for today. I definitely approve of Mandarin, it is as delicious as actual mandarins :D. Now, I'm off to color-block ALL THE THINGS!!!

LTHP Quickies! Milani Coming Up Roses LE Powder Blush Collection- Flora Passion

(**Press Sample**)
Good evening darlings!!

For this evening quickie I have one of Milani's new limited edition Coming up Roses blushes. I was suuuper excited to see Milani was doing new blushes because I am/was a HUGE fan of their Illuminating powders that they released last year. I'm just a sucker for Milani cosmetics.
This collection is made up of Four Rose-hued pressed powder blushes and they are shaped into a beautiful rose in the pan. I almost could not bring myself to swatch/use this blush because the product looked too beautiful in the packaging. The demand for these was so high that I am only able to review one of them for you. That said, I completely get the hype over these beautiful blushes!

I was sent Flora Passion for review. This lovely blush is a soft shade of muted Pinky-Coral. There is also a beautiful warm, Golden glow-undertone to this beautiful shade of blush. I love the finish on this blush, it is a beautiful satin-like look; not totally matte and not too shimmery. This particular shade really hit my soft spot because I LOOOVE me a good Coral blush and this baby definitely delivers. I love the warm, healthy glow this shade gives my cheeks.
The pigmentation on this blush is just right for me. I kept a light hand when swatching/ wearing it so I could build it up to my liking. The texture of Flora Passion is really nice, smooth and almost creamy. Not powdery at all.

These beautiful blushes will be available in early August at select CVS, Walgreens, Meijer and Fred Meyer stores, some stores may have them out sooner. They will also be available online on Milani's site.

Have you tried any Milani blushes? I've also read great things about their baked blushes. Do you have any favorites?
